When I heard that Zeus wanted to pass on the helm to a relatively new name, an ACP veteran who had quickly risen up the ranks, I wasn’t sure what the future of ACP would hold. ACP had been in a period of relative inactivity, and with the community a shadow of its former self, I wasn’t sure if ACP would ever achieve her former glory.

That being said, I was excited for the new blood – a chance to innovate, change, and redefine things. Perhaps it was this new blood that was necessary, to not do things in the way we’re used to, but to push ACP into a new generation.

Calgo was a guy with many words. And live up to them he did. It has been such a ride, watching him face on each challenge head-on.

Perhaps what is most impressive to me, is his unyielding spirit even amid adversity. Being plunged into war against 3 major armies, Calgo would find strength in friendships and manage to fend of the threat with the Sapphire Concordat. Each loss was a learning opportunity, to become greater and better. And become better he did. Calgo would go on to win Legends Cup XIII, a tournament that ACP had never so much as reached the finals in.

Whenever he faced a challenge, he would pick himself back up, and learn to be better. Under his leadership, ACP has reached #1 multiple times, with the most #1s now under his belt in the CPPS era. He was not afraid of war and conflict, nor was he afraid to make friends, expanding ACP’s nation and allies to unprecedented heights in the CPPS era. Perhaps it is his experience as an army veteran, but he has brought back the enthusiasm for war, one that seems so rare within the modern army environment.

We want to thank Calgo for his efforts to rebuilding ACP, and restoring her to its former glory over the last year. It is my honor to be able to write this post on behalf of the Committee, where under a unanimous vote, would like to grant Calgocubs21 as the 3rd wearer of the Medal of Honor in the CPPS era.
