Attention to the Army of Club Penguin
BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin HQ – ACP’s summer has come and gone with the end of summer already far behind us. Our army has accomplished many incredible feats over the past few months. This post will cover ACP’s Summer moments from June to August this year.
Summer 2023 has been an incredible journey for the Army of Club Penguin. June started with Water Vikings, Rebel Penguin Federation and Elite Guardians declaring war on ACP. These joint declarations saw the announcement of their alliance the Blue Sunset Alliance. However, the surprises didn’t end there. As ACP prepared for the war to come Help Force announced its support for ACP. Also, the People’s Imperial Confederation, Napalm Corps, Templars and SWAT declared war on the Sunset alliance, supporting ACP in its aims to defend its nation. This became World War IX. Despite the Triumvirate forming a few days prior, this was the second war of their tenure.
On June 6th, the Club Penguin Army Wiki officially recognized the war as a World War, officially making it World War IX. It was also one of the biggest wars in years as most of the community was involved. Despite the war continuing day after day, the war temporarily stopped to celebrate Pride with the rest of the community.
The event marked a great day for those in and out of ACP as the war was put on the side and we all gathered on CPABattleground to parade the berg! However, the war continued after the conclusion of the day celebrating Pride. The war ended on June 11th after 32 grueling battles between the alliances. The amount of battles made it the war with the most amount of battles The war was a never ending fight and that was something both sides acknowledged, leading to the end of the war with a mutual treaty being agreed. However, not long after this was agreed, RPF mistakenly broke the treaty meaning that they would have to surrender their nation to the Sapphire Concordat, the alliance between ACP and its allies.
The month of June also saw an official alliance being made between ACP and its long-term rivals, Templars. Over the years, ACP and TCP have fought in many wars over morals and even for the sake of it. However, as time went on the armies grew closer together and Templars soon became an army ACP could trust to have its back and vice versa. Therefore the New Crusader Alliance was born.
After the war was officially over and everything had been dealt with, the army finally held the Roman induction of AustinFraud and Coolguy on CPABattleground after they were inducted into the leadership on May 28th.
July brought many moments of its own too, the first of these moments was the commencing of the Legends Cup XIII. The Legends Cup was founded by ACP creator, Oagalthorp. However, despite him founding the tournament, ACP had never managed to get its hands on the trophy. Therefore, the tournament was an important one for the army as it had everything to prove, once again.
Starting on Saturday, July 22nd, ACP made its was past the Quarter-Finals as they defeated the Templars in what was a great battle for the newly formed allies. The Semi-Finals, however, was a record-breaking battle vs. Elite Guardians, an army ACP was familiar with after WWIX. During the battle, ACP managed to break its size max for the leadership of both the Triumvirate’s reign and Calgos. This made it the highest maxing event for the leadership with a max size of 61. The event saw leaders bring everything they had to the battlefield and eventually, they were able to lead the troops and the army to victory, defeating EGCP and making their way to the finals for only the second time in history.
The records didn’t stop being made here, however. As the army made its way to the finals, so did the tournament beasts, RPF. Both armies brought their A-game to the battle and both were hungry for the win. However, with the determination and the power behind it, ACP prevailed and became the Legends Cup Champions for the first time in history, giving the Triumvirate its first trophy for ACP’s cabinet. The battle also tied the max size, 61 penguins online. The leaders, Austin, Calgo and Coolguy were also awarded the Bronze Medal Award for their efforts during the tournament.
It was also during this time that the Shamrock Bulletin was able to break 10 thousand posts on ACP’s website. This marked a big milestone for the army and the Bulletin and the milestones didn’t stop here as the Bulletin went on to post a record-breaking 108 posts during the month of August.
Shortly after the Legends Cup run concluded, ACP declared war on the Elite Guardians on the 7th of August, seeing the two armies go to war, once again, not too long after their intense Legends Cup battle a couple of weeks prior. Much like the Legends Cup battle, the war was a fierce one with many hard-fought battles. Neither side was giving up during this war, both sides wanted the win as much as the other but ACP had something to prove.
While the war was ongoing, ACP opened a D.R.A.C.P. flag design competition on August 19th allowing people from ACP and all over the community to submit their flag designs for the chance for their submission to become the new D.R.A.C.P. flag. The new flag would signal a new era of ACP but also it would see many other aspects of ACP getting updated like the ACP saga, nations page and even different parts of the website. The contest winner is still yet to be decided but there have been many incredible submissions thus far.
Throughout the months of July and August, even during the war, ACP embraced many Club Penguin Private Servers and made content for the Shamrock Bulletin regarding the different CPPS’ that are available to players. The content included cheats, mascot trackers and even guides. This allowed ACP to put their foot in the door of the different aspects of Club Penguin, making ACP’s reach much bigger.
On August 29th, over 3 weeks after the war had started, the war finally came to an end with an astonishing total of 34 battles. This broke the previous CPPS era record which was made during World War IX for the most amount of battles during a war. The war ended due to some tactics which were deemed discriminatory against members of ACP. Therefore, ACP placed a force treaty upon the Elite Guardians, capturing all of their land. This war was dubbed the Summer Survival War.
To end the month of August, ACP was able to claim the #1 army of the month after a successful run in the top tens, previously having gotten 3 #1’s in a row.
To end the summer, Club Penguin Armies hosted an ‘End of Summer Awards‘ and during this ACP/ ACP members were nominated in a majority of categories. Because of the success of ACP over the summer, ACP was able to gather a majority of awards for their cabinet, putting an end to the summer and collecting even more trophies.
With that said, ACP’s summer has come to an end, with fall right around the corner. But what are some of ACP’s important statistics for all the stat nerds out there? Well, let’s find out!
