ACP Summer 2022 Recap

Beach Brawl Trophy

MAMMOTH, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – This summer we saw ACP experience a period of growth, development, and most importantly change. We reached new heights through our landslide victory in the Beach Brawl II tournament while also hitting rock bottom, maxing at events as low as four attendees. This post is meant to capture both our highs and lows by highlighting what really happened this summer and foreshadowing what is to come in the near future.

After Club Penguin Rewritten had permanently shut down, ACP was left in a dire spot and the retirements from the staff team over time would have an even greater impact on the army. A defining moment that would turn around this decline was when Sidie9 returned to the staff team and unveiled her plans on July 12th for Project: Revival, an initiative to rebuild the army and lay the groundwork for success. This announcement inspired many troops to join the ranks of the staff team with the hope of bringing about this change. Shamrock Bulletin also saw a resurgence around this same time.

Project: Revival Announcement

Shortly after this occurrence, ACP quickly climbed their way back into the Top Ten on July 17th, going up four places to eighth place. On July 23rd, ACP participated in the Beach Brawl II tournament hosted by CPA and won 4-0, taking home our first trophy in over a year since Project: Conquest. It was soon announced that Shallissa would be promoted up to Higher Command for stepping up and aiding ACP in the tournament win.

On August 15th, Higher Command announced that they would be retiring the rank of Colonel in an attempt to reorganize due to it no longer serving its intended purpose. Recruiting Force finally got the attention it needed as Alemax took over as supervisor, scheduling recruiting events and managing the recruitment logs. Towards the end of the summer on the 23rd of August, ACP announced their first themed week in months known as Battle Week which would pit us against formidable armies such as RPF to prove our strength! Ending the summer off on the highest note possible, ACP managed to maintain an average max size of more than twenty troops in events for three weeks in a row which re-establishes our status as a Major Army once again!
