Hi ACP! Today our UK division logged onto Club Penguin Journey for another one of our Anniversary events! This time, we experienced an event entirely through Xat, an old chatting website used by the Army of Club Penguin all the way from 2006! Dressing up in our 2006 attire, we marched around Sleet and even recreated some formations from almost 20 years back! So what is Xat?
Xat was created back in 1998 originally used as an image website though slowly evolving into a chatroom over time! Its features proved useful as it became a space where members of the Army of Club Penguin could communicate, befriend and co-ordinate events with. Whilst we don’t actively use Xat today, our chatroom still exists. Check it out below, alongside screenshots of it throughout the event!
