It’s August 21st, 2025. 365 days ago.
Aliens swarm into our 20-year-old capital, Mammoth, and officially claim it after a 2-day siege.
We had lost it all.
March Madness Third Place Match in overtime vs. Doritos, Around the World Cup II Grand Final in overtime vs. Aliens. Legends Cup XV Quarterfinal vs. Help Force in an almost three-room tie, all lost. Mammoth had fallen for the first time in the Club Penguin Private Server era. It was rock bottom.
Many around the community saw Operation: Order 51 as a complete failure, and the ACP of that time as nothing compared to what it had been the 2 years prior. There was some truth to that. We were disappointed in our performance as of late, but with the processes that we had going on behind the scenes, our only option was to trust it and give it more time. We were still proud of ourselves for doing what, to this day, no other army dares to: to stand up for ourselves against an incredibly larger enemy, and this conflict with Aliens was only the slap-in-the-face that we needed to set our path straight, and turn this failure not only into a learning lesson, but, ironically, as a way to march on and not give up.
Some may say that this is really no big deal, but try turning the morale around of your own army after losing in three tournaments during the last 10 minutes: one being a battle against your current biggest enemy, another a battle for a trophy, and the worst Legends Cup performance in years. To top it all off, go and lose a war 0-1-16 while losing your historic capital that was deemed impenetrable for the last 6 years. I personally even won a trophy for fumbling it all so much:
Despite all the losses, we picked ourselves up and performed a 180°. We did not just turn it around, though; we managed to climb Mt. Everest itself, all the way from sea level. Here is a quick rundown of what has happened since then:
19th Anniversary Celebration
We incredibly celebrated our 19th anniversary, following a month of fun celebrations.
October Horrors Grand Final
Even though we lost, we managed to outperform ourselves from the previous few months by tying with Aliens in the semifinals, and making the final a three-way battle, something NO ONE expected. It was all done in one day, too.
Christmas Chaos Semifinal vs. RPF
Hope died last. We took the biggest army at the time, the one who had gone undefeated in 4 tournaments and held the #1 rank on the Top Ten for months, to overtime in an incredibly thrilling battle. This battle changed it all, and our eyes and goals were set.
Siege of Rhodes vs. Aliens and Scarlet Republic
The year started hectic, as we declared war on Scarlet Republic and their allies, Aliens, joined in their defense. Following 3 battles and what had the potential to become a World War, both surrendered to the Army of Club Penguin and its ally, the Water Vikings.
March Madness XI Grand Champions
We brought home our first March Madness trophy in our 20 years of existence. With 129 green penguins on our side, our highest attendance in 15 years, we felt unstoppable. The tournament ended with no room loss for the Army of Club Penguin.
Spring Offensive vs. Templars of Club Penguin
The Army of Club Penguin remained innovative by attempting to bring warfare to its roots, against an army that has constantly cheated many with no remorse for their actions. They ended up running away with their tail between their legs, and claiming victory despite their events having been completely disrupted due to our efforts.
Around the World Cup III Grand Champions
After two straight years of losing the Around the World Cup Grand Final in overtime, we finally brought the trophy home while settling matters with the Templars.

And then came our most recent summer, where we made history and broke records, time…
…and time…
…and time again.
Many argue whether our generation matches that of the legendary run the ACP had in its beginning, and no, because we’re our own generation. One that sets its own records, 20 years later. This is the Army of Club Penguin we got to build, and to let flourish.
Phase 1: Supremacy has been a success. Supremacy was achieved… but now what? What else is there to achieve?
To break the 200 attendees threshold, never, ever achieved before in the history of armies. We will seek to do that at our 20th anniversary.
I’ve repeated the same words over and over, but proudly, I will keep doing it: The Power of the Clover makes this possible, no matter how impossible it may sound. Records are meant to be broken.
Let’s do it to honor ACP’s 20-year legacy, with us being the oldest community within the entire Club Penguin community, and Oagalthorp’s words… to keep being that Army of Club Penguin that has changed the face of Club Penguin for years.
Soon afterward, on September 29, 2006, I created the Army of Club Penguin right there on the Forums. The ACP was a revolutionary concept. There would be an army with one leader, one set of ranks, a set uniform (not just a color), a website as the base of operations, and a single server to meet on. The ACP was the first army of its kind and would change the face of Club Penguin for years to come.

The ACP Saga
This will be one of the goals of Operation: The 20-Leaf Clover Phase 2, titled The Two Decades.
It’s one of the goals because there are actually 2 goals.
Even though we might seek to constantly make history, let’s not forget the most important part: to enjoy the celebrations. To have fun. At the end of the day, that’s what this is all about. We could break every record in history, but if we didn’t have fun while doing it, then what’s it for? Let’s enjoy the 20th anniversary celebrations for what they are, celebrations!
To be able to complete these two goals, we’re implementing some changes to the army, effective immediately, which have been hinted at over the past month:
New Ranks

The Colonel Test is no more. We’re now reintroducing a “Staff-in-Training” rank, which will go by the name of General Select. It exists to train you for the higher ranks, if you’re interested in joining our staff team, that is! To obtain it, you’ll need clovers + be in the Recruiting Force.
Those who are interested in being our first Staff-in-Training, please reach out to a Higher Command. Those who decide to join our staff, the first round will officially do so on Monday, August 24th.
In addition, we’re bringing back a troop rank between Corporal and Sergeant: Specialist. It will cost 20 clovers to reach it, and 30 clovers to rank up from it.
Note that these changes could be changed or reverted, depending on how they go. Still, we hope to stick with them for the future. We also hope to see more new faces on our staff team join us in the fun for our biggest anniversary event ever!
20th Anniversary Art Contest

To begin our 20th anniversary celebrations, we’re holding a 20th Anniversary Art Contest, which is named Battles Memorial.
Theme: Draw about your favorite battle.
Notes: You can choose either one you witnessed, OR one you’ve read about. If you decide to go the historical route, we recommend you cover battles from any World War (we’ve participated in all of them except WWVII), but any other historical battle will be accepted!

A small (or big?) note before we end…
Do you guys remember those World Cup predictions? Well, truth be told, the winners were not announced, and now they will be.
Note that due to the amount of clovers gambled, there will be a podium of 5 winners.
CLOVERS GAMBLED: 6,721
Many went all in, whilst some went with the minimum of 10 clovers. This was right before the clover economy reset, so many wished to put the clovers, which would vanish, to good use.
As for the winners, there’s actually a three-way tie for 2nd. They will all be receiving the same amount of clovers.
We will include their predictions, alongside how many clovers they bet. Congratulations also to the Top 4, as they’ll be able to buy the entire Clover Shop right before our 20th anniversary!

Fifth Place: Aguscabj. Winner of 707 clovers. Bet 908.
Second Place [Tied]: TeasMas. Winner of 1,075 clovers. Bet 24.
Second Place [Tied]: Waddle. Winner of 1,075 clovers. Bet 25.
Second Place [Tied]: Elnova. Winner of 1,075 clovers. Bet 807.
First Place: Ashwolf. Winner of 2,789 clovers. Bet 10.
Don’t forget to buy the Clover Shop, champs!
Anyway, that should be all of the updates for now as we are…
20 YEARS IN THE MAKING!
