Community Digest: Rebels Host Olympics

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin HQ – The Rebel Penguin Federation host their Olympics every year, making them a well-known event throughout the community. Their recent Olympics has just come to an end, but how did it go? Let’s find out!

On August 28th, the Rebel Penguin Federation opened its annual Summer Olympics after much anticipation. The opening of their Olympics saw the Rebels take to CPABattleground, separating into four teams, Hummingbird, Riot, Danger, and Annihilate with a Across the Spider-verse theme. These four teams went on to fight it out in a close but friendly battle.

The second event of the Olympics was a Card Jitsu tournament, something that the community hadn’t seen for quite a while. They took to Club Penguin Journey to play the iconic Club Penguin classic with Team Riot’s BeardedAngel coming out on top.

After a successful first round of the Card Jitsu tournament, the Rebels and the four teams took to CPJ once again to complete the second round of their tournament. This time, however, there was a new winner. Team Hummingbird’s CY pulled out the win for their team in a fierce elemental battle.

Tournament time struck again for the Rebels soon after as they took to Club Penguin Legacy to compete in a Find Four competition. Find Four often sparks the competitive spirit within members of the community and this competition definitely had many members competing but only 1 team was able to make the scoreboard. This team was Team Danger. Team Danger also went on to win the second round of the tournament later that day.

Day 3 saw the teams grab their surfboards and head for the Cove as the teams competed in ‘Catchin’ Waves’. Following their win in the Find Four tournament, Team Danger aimed for the win, once again. They were able to grab the win, making it 3 wins in a row for their team. They didn’t stop there, however. They continued to march on and compete in the second round of the Catchin’ Waves tournament and achieved the win yet again, making it four wins in a row.

Day four saw much change in the Olympics as they went from Catchin’ Waves to dancing in the Night Club. The teams took to the dance floor to show off their best dance moves and to try and win the competition. This time, Team Danger was unable to grab the win, but Team Hummingbird came out on top as Cracked led them to victory. Despite this, Team Danger continued their dominance and won the second round of the tournament later that day.

The following day saw an old game on Club Penguin being used once again, this game was Pizzatron 3000. For the Rebels, it was time to put on their aprons and start flipping that dough as they prepared to try and win the competition. This was a bit different to other competitions though as there wasn’t just one winner. In fact, there were three. Team Danger and Hummingbird were able to come out on top but they were joined by Annihilate as they aimed for and achieved gold. The second round of the tournament saw a similar story however this time team Riot joined Hummingbird, Annihilate Danger in first place, meaning that there were four winners! The third event followed a similar pattern as well with four teams winning.

All things must come to an end and on September 3rd, the Olympics came to a close. Following the closure, on the 4th, the results of the Olympics were announced. With an astonishing 358 points, Danger was announced as the winning team. The Olympics often bring large crowds with a large amount of events and without fail they provide fun for all community members that are involved.

Congrats to all those who took part in the Olympics.
