[AUSIA] Invasion of Subzero (EGCP Territory)

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

KLONDIKE, “War on EGCP: Invasion of Subzero” – Good morning ACP! On Friday, June 9th, our AUSIA division logged onto CPA Battleground, Klondike for our invasion of Subzero against the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin. We are currently involved in a World War against the Blue Sunset Alliance, which consists of EGCP, the Rebel Penguin Federation, and the Water Vikings. In this battle, to reclaim what is rightfully ours, we started in the Town to rally our troops before taking on the giant that is the BSA.

Max Size: 27

Room 1: Stadium

The battle started in the stadium with both armies bombing the room. With Calgo at the helm, ACP quickly formed a V while the Guardians formed a circle, following on with their circle addiction. Despite this, both armies were fighting for control of the room with neither side really getting the upper hand. However, this soon changed as we bombed and formed a plus. They aimed to get in the middle of the action, soon after, by creating an anchor which saw both armies aiming to dominate the vertical line. As the battle progressed, we started to gain some more momentum as well as troops. We then created a triangle as EGCP proceeded to try and take our previous form by forming a plus. We combatted the opponent well, making it hard for them to gain the upper hand.

Room 2: Iceberg

The second room was led by Austin as we aimed to capture the Berg. Each room is all or nothing during the battle so we gave it our all to try and take it from them. We quickly formed an upside-down T formation as the Guardians formed…a circle. Despite repeating their first form, once again, from the first room, there was a battle for the bottom of the berg with both armies aiming to cover. ACP did extremely well in using this as an opportunity to deform their circle and to try and cover the opposition. From there, we went on to create a plus formation and EGCP strategically created an X to try and combat and cover us. However, despite the attempt from EGCP, the forms made the battle that much harder to judge as both armies combatted each other and made clean forms…or so it would seem. Even though the forms seemed clean, when we bombed towards the end of the room, we revealed gaps in the Guardians’ formation as they failed to properly connect their X formation with the Sapphire Concordat controlling the middle with their plus. We then created another upside-down T to prepare for the next room which would come shortly after.

Room 3: Cove

Moving on to the third room, which was led by Coolguy, we entered the room first, forming a V with EGCP following and making an upside-down T formation. Once again, there was a fight at the bottom with the forms overlapping each other. It became even more crucial that we were on top of our game and got in front of our opponents. EGCP bombed making, what appeared to be, an angle as we quickly created a T formation, curving it to suit the room that we were in. The room size restricted both armies’ forms, therefore, both armies had to adapt their forms. However, it was a fight to dominate during this as it made it even more important to cover the opposing army to control the room. However, we started to decrease in size which meant we had to adapt even more. We bombed and made a backwards L, only for the Guardians to try and copy the form, attempting to sit on us and cover us. Despite this, we fought for control before bombing towards the end of the room to form an upside-down V.

Judge’s Ruling:

Once again, we must thank the judges for being able to judge this hard-fought battle.

A lot has happened during this war and the battles may not always be in our favor, however, each and every time we step up to fight, we bring our force, we make sure that we leave everything on the field and we improve in each and every battle showing that we are not an army that is just standing by and stagnating, we are constantly improving. Each and every one of you should be proud of what we are doing but always aim to do better, always aim to win, and always aim to improve. Never settle for second best!
