Training Sessions TODAY!

Haider ACP!

With all our wars dieing down it’s time to change gears and get more training. After our practice battle with the Ninjas it seems like we need a bit of practice seeing how there was a few problems with our performance like clumping, gaps, and idle soldiers. A few events we need more of would be recruiting, uLead sessions for members and moderators, tactic sessions, stuff like that! After wars we usually have the same old practice battles but they get boring after a bit amiright? I don’t know how you feel about uLead sessions but I feel as we need more of them, let the soldiers lead. Owners usually lead but it’s only fair that we give members a chance once and a while. How can they be the future leaders if they don’t get practice now?

ACP Training Sessions [UK]

When: Friday March 2nd

Time:

4:00 PM United Kingdom

We as owners want to improve on is our number of unscheduled events. People get lazy with these during times when we don’t have them at least 3 times a week. Back last summer for example we could average 25-35 people at unscheduled events, that can happen even during school months! Leaders usually lead unscheduled events but members and mods can try their hand at leading them too. March and April are our best months for recruiting. Even just going on with a few friends and recruiting is a big help to ACP. Even though it doesn’t get you extra medals, if a mod or owner sees you running your own unscheduled events it can count toward a promotion!

Owners, during our peak hours on chat try to get everyone online for an unscheduled event, maybe recruiting or just a fun game time, but remember to post the results! You can offer some temp-mods to members if they attend to get people motivated too. Even mods can do this. If you want to offer temp mod spots just tell me who you picked when I’m online and I’ll it to them.

Comment and telling us if you can attend & tell us what you can do to help us improve ACP!

March On,

A Little Help With Tactics

Hey ACP, 12Declan12 here bringing you another post entitled “A little Help With…” where this week we will be going through some Tactics. I really hope these help you as they have taken me a long time to create them and find suitable pictures to go along with them.

Although most of this post will just be definitions and shortcut keys I thought it important to know the basics especially if you are new.

Before we get started here are some basic emotes that ACP would use, try to remember the shortcut keys of the top of your head,

These are the main ones that ACP would use in any battle situation although with this ACP may use Word Tactics including some of the following,

  • ACP Is Army Of CP
  • ACP Forever
  • Turn Green
  • Join ACP
  • ACP Bomb (ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP ACP)
  • Why So Small?
  • Goodbye

Even though we say a wide variety of things in battles these are the main word tactics that we would use whenever we are on CP.

Here is how they might be used,

Sorry for bad quality pictures, but still you should be able to see how word emotes are used on CP.

Keywords:

Circle: When you do a Circle make sure you use all of the room and curve the edges so it looks like a Circle and not a box. Also do not stand in the middle of it please otherwise when you do an emote bomb it looks like people are standing anywhere and we are not in any formation.

Lines: Likewise for and Circles you need to spread out evenly no matter how many of you there are, for example if you are doing a line on chat bar and have 10 people online then make sure you spread out from one end to the other.

Bomb: This is when you are in a line/circle/formation and get told to either do a emote or word tactic. When the leader says 3 or NOW  that is when you press enter/shortcut key to do the tactic.

Frenzy: This is basically the same as a Bomb but this time you Run Around the room saying the tactic you have been told to do. This could be anything from a ACP Bomb to a Clover Bomb.

Well that’s all for this week, I hope you enjoyed reading this week’s edition of “A Little Help With…”

This is very last notice but I think everyone would agree having it on the weekend is better than a weekday when some people who aren’t as fortunate to have February break have school. Coming in the next few days I’ll invite soldiers on chat to come set sail on the migrator for an ACP adventure!

Improving ACP: Your Opinion

Hello ACP!

I thought I’d mix it up a bit and help give soldiers a chance to voice their opinions and ideas openly on how we as an army could improve. All you need to do is comment, telling us what you think in ACP that needs improvement, weather it’s more fun, more practice battles, more recruiting, ect. Try to be specific in your comments like for example “I think we need more fun in ACP, like playing more mini games as a group and enjoying parties together!”. After we get 50 or so comments I’ll pick out a few good ones and try to put them into action. Time to think….

Comment with your opinions on what we could do to improve ACP!

Recruiting, and then Questing, and then Showing Off. A normal Saturday for the Army of Club Penguin.

Hey ACP,

We basically did what the title says, we started off on Avalanche doing some recruiting, before changing to Brumby, once we’d recruited for 10-15 minutes we then started doing Rockhopper’s quest, before finally resting in the Snow Forts to show off to everyone and CPAC, that we were the best. Our event was great, and we showed to the Black Alliance that they should fear us and our allies, and not them. Now you may be thinking, wait what? “Black Alliance?” but that’s not important right now, the results of our events are!

  • Size [9/10]: Our size was great today, we started off with 30-35 in the Town where we did our circle, before heading over to Rockhopper’s quest, where admittedly we did lose some sizes, but in the Snow Forts we did a full circle (barely) with sizes of at least 45! It was a great event today size-wise.
  • Tactics [8.5/10]: Our tactics were alright in the Town recruiting, but I guess you don’t really need any for recruiting, and were great in the quest! In the Snow Forts however, our tactics weren’t the best they could of been and were a bit iffy. Despite set backs, it was still a decent tactics event.
  • Chat [9/10]: We got 2 chats again this event, and 50+ on popular, and everyone seemed to repeat the tactics on chat. Apart from the times when Ken and I were hushing a lot (sorry!) everyone seemed to be enjoying the event and having fun. Our chat was tied with our size today, but it was still a great element of our event.

Now, onto the pictures, click read more to well, read more!
