VROOM VROOM, ACP! On September 9th, we logged onto Club Penguin Journey‘s server Sleet and drove into The Plaza with our Red Ranger car outfits. Led by moderators with the order based on a wheel of chance, this event was sure to feel chaotic! First led by Anne, who started off the event with her “sidewalk driving lessons” by doing a mini whirlpool using The Plaza‘s sidewalk. Next to lead was Catma, who led with punny jokes that were waaaayyy better than Daniel‘s. Em led with a mission: an infomercial to remind us to ALWAYS buckle up, before we crashed at the Pet Shop! With Jasper up next, he drove everyone over to the Mine Shack by surrounding the room. There, we celebrated Anne getting her driver’s license with a rendition of Wonderwall that put Kay as the Brightest Bulb. Haloring continued the jokes over at The Dock and had us form a triangle! Facing many of our worst fears, we attempted parallel parking in two horizontal lines (and did it successfully… I think)! Last but not least, ToxicMeow took on the reins to end off the moderator-led event. We vroomed over to Stadium and made a plus formation. The jokes continued, ranging from classic Vine jokes to even more puns! We then steered into our minigame: Red Light, Green Light. Starting from The Beach and ending at the very edge of Cove, troops drove their way across the island whenever Daniel said green light. If a troop moved during red light, they were forced to move back to The Beach. Congratulations to Anne for winning the minigame!
