Hello fabulous penguins! Welcome back to another edition of Penguin Vogue, our fashion column where we showcase the wonderful and innovate fashion of the members of ACP! Today we’re joined by none other than resident diva TheAlex, a Colonel who has been gracing us with her amazing style for over 2 years now! Luckily she let me grace me with the honour of interviewing her, where we are about to find out the secrets behind her spectacular designs….
Interview with TheAlex

Hi diva! Can you give me a quick rundown of your outfit and why you like it so much?
Well, the outfit you’re seeing is the result of me slowly changing out of the standard ACP uniform to something more “Alex”. Of course, our uniform is great, but I prefer a more feminine look. I’ve kept the original hand, neck, and feet items, and I’ve tried not to move away from the ACP essence too much, so for me, this is a nice mix of my own self and the ACP look.
Love to see some individuality! What would you describe as more “Alex”?
Well, like I said, more feminine, and more standing out; like in real life, when I have some days where I feel like dressing a bit “extra”.
That’s really cool! Let’s do a close up inspection and really see more of your fabulous essence, starting with your hair; The Whipped Cream!
At first I just wore the standard uniform in CPAB, but I saw that some members wore hairstyles instead of the helmet so I thought “oh ok so as long as we keep the rest on is fine?”. Initially I had different hair, an item called The Flow, but I realized that Noa was already using it and I didn’t want to look like other members, so I kept searching in the wiki and I realized I wanted something that had contrast with the uniform green. I went for a white hairstyle and chose this one because it’s also more wavy!
This hairstyle is really cute, the colour really stands out against the rest of your outfit! Tell us more about your dress, Shamrock Skirt!
The dress is the last thing I changed. The jacket is the greenest item in the ACP uniform, so I tried to find an alternative that kept at least some of the color. I almost picked the Green Polka-Dot Dress, but I felt like it blended too much with the penguin so I settled with the Witch Hazel Dress, which was black with green sleeves and 2 green lines.
Later on, I started to feel like it wasn’t doing a good job at keeping enough green in my ACP look, so my search began again and that’s when I changed it for the Shamrock Skirt. It has more green in it and even the name suits ACP better!
I loved the journey that got you to your current outfit, I have to agree with the Shamrock Skirt being an excellent choice for ACP! Finally, what made you use the White Diva Sunglasses?
The sunglasses are the only item that I’ve never changed. Many army uniforms, including the one used during my first ACP war, use sunglasses, so I figured changing them would be even more acceptable than changing the head item. There are many versions of the Diva Sunglasses, but I picked this one because of the white border that gives contrast, just like the hair. The vibe I get from them is the same vibe that made me fall in love with the sunglasses I currently have irl, although these don’t have the light border.
It’s amazing how you can incorporate elements of your life into your penguin design just like this, whilst still retaining the ACP image! A lovely outfit indeed, you have earned my stamp of approval. Thank you for sharing this with us Alex!!
:DD
Is there anything you’d like tell ACP regarding outfit expressions or just in general?
In this big world full of possibilities, all of you can find the right things to express yourself. But it’s also ok if these things change over time, because we are not static! So go try new things and remember that always and in every moment, you can only be you.
P.S. I saw Queen Kay’s outfit in her Penguin Vogue Post where she also has the White Diva Sunglasses… Like father like daughter I guess💅
So inspirational! That concludes our interview. Thank you for letting me interview you, TheAlex!
