¿Trick or Treat, ACP? The 2025 Halloween Party was just released on CPJourney, and with it, new free items, quests, rooms, and much more. This guide will cover all of these aspects, alongside available stamps, the visiting mascots, catalog secrets, and other stuff! Check out our Table of Contents below for more information.

Free Items

This section will cover all of the free items available across the island(s), and their locations.

The first 3 free items, which you have to walk up to to claim, can be obtained by taking this single route:

Location: Dark Chamber
Access the Dark Swamp from the Forest. (Don’t forget to collect the weekly pin!)

Complete the puzzle by clicking the keys that match the order of the notes given by the rocks. Below is a GIF example.

Then, head into the Dark Chamber. Here, you’ll be able to claim the Storm Lantern.

Location: Monster Maker Lab
To get the next free item, you have to complete the maze in the Dark Chamber.
To complete it, you have to equip the Storm Lantern to be able to see.
We do personally recommend using the Dark Vision Goggles, which will open the view to the entire room. Don’t have them? Click HERE for a guide on how to get them.

After finishing the maze, you’ll be able to get the Purple Bat Wings.

Location: Haunted House
After exiting the lab, you will enter the Haunted House. Here, you’ll find the Creepy Candle.
Note: The Haunted House can also be accessed from the Mine Shack or the Forest. This path we just showed you allows you to obtain all three items in one go.

Location: Spooky Island
To reach the Spooky Island, access the Steamboat docked at the Beach.

After an animation plays where you dock on another island, you can now get off the Steamboat.
Enter Spooky Island, and claim the Ghost Penguin transformation.

Location: Iceberg

Every hour, the Penguin Band & Cadence will play at the Iceberg. Once they do, click where the stage should go (it’s bugged) to claim the Penguin Band + Cadence Halloween 2025 Giveaway background.

Location: Boiler Room
Inside the first page of the catalog located at the Boiler Room, you’ll be able to adopt the Pumpkin Puffle!

Location: Cove
Every 2 hours, Rockhopper will tell stories at Cove, be there, then click on him to earn the Scary Stories Background!

Trick or Treat Daily Candies

Every day, a piece of candy will be hidden somewhere on the island. They contain different rewards, so make sure to claim them! This section will be updated daily with the reward for each day.

Note 1: If you miss one day, the candy will still be available from the previous day until the end of the party.
Note 2: Candy will not be hidden in any rooms that have specific requirements to enter, including the HQ, EPF Command Room, Ninja Hideout, or Fire Dojo.

Quests

Find a hidden piece of candy

For this quest, you’re gonna look for a small candy icon hidden somewhere on the island in indoor decorated rooms!

The candies can look like this:

Click the candy once you find it, and the quest will be completed!

Care for a pumpkin puffle at the Puffle Park

First, you need a Pumpkin Puffle, which you can adopt from the catalog at the Boiler Room. Once you’ve adopted and named your puffle, head back to your igloo to take it on a walk and go to the Puffle Park. Once you’re there, use the features in the park, such as the food, pool, or trampoline, to care for your puffle, and the quest will be completed!

Go sled racing with a Living Toboggan

First, purchase the Living Toboggan for 250 coins from the catalog at the Boiler Room. Go to the Ski Hill, equip your Toboggan and join a sled race to complete this quest!

Praise the Orb, again

Head over to the Old Boiler Room and send the heart emoji next to the Orb by pressing EH or from the emoji menu to complete this quest!

Trick or Treat in all houses in the Snow Forts

Go to the Snow Forts, and click on the doors of each of the 4 houses there to ring their bells and complete this quest!

Hear a scary story at the Cove

For this quest, you will need to catch Rockhopper at the Cove during one of his scheduled visits (check the stopwatch on the top right of your screen), which happen every 2 hours. Try to get into the room ~30 minutes before the visit happens because the room gets full quickly! Don’t forget to click the stage to receive an exclusive background!

Rock out at the Iceberg concert

Cadence & The Penguin Band perform a concert at the Iceberg every hour. You can check the stopwatch on the top right of your screen for their scheduled visits! Go to the Iceberg and attend one of their concerts to complete this quest! Try to wait in the room ~30 minutes before the concert happens because the room gets full quickly! Don’t forget to click the stage to receive their exclusive background!

Dress up with 15 pizzas in the Parlor

Wear the Black and White Pizza (page 8 of the penguin style catalog) or the regular Pizza Costume (page 16 of the penguin style catalog) at the Pizza Parlor along with 14 other pizzas to complete this quest!

Visit 5 Trick-or-Treat igloos

Go to the Welcome Room and look for penguins advertising their Trick-or-Treat/ TOT Quest igloos. Visit 5 penguins who have either the Backyard Igloo or the Trick-or-Treat Igloo:

The quest should be completed once you’ve visited 5 igloos with the Trick-or-Treat or the Backyard igloo!

Watch all Night of the Living Sled movies

Watch part 1, 2 & 3 of the Night of the Living Sled at each of the Coffee Shop, Dance Lounge & Lighthouse to complete this quest!

Transform into a ghost

Go to the Beach and enter Rockhopper’s Spooky Steamboat. Wait until you arrive at the Spooky Island and exist the ship to enter the Island. Click the ghost statue at the top right to collect the Ghost Penguin transformation!

Equip the Ghost Penguin transformation and the quest will be completed!

Match at least 4 items with someone in the Lighthouse

Head over to the Lighthouse and wear the same 4 items as another penguin there to complete this quest!

Light up the Beacon with 20 penguins in ghost costumes

Wear the black or white Ghost Costume + a flashlight and head upstairs to the Beacon. Once there are 20 penguins wearing ghost costumes and flashlights, the quest will be completed!

You can get either of the hidden costumes on pages 6 & 9 of the Penguin Style catalog:

Reach the end of the dark maze

Waddle to the Forest and enter the Dark Chamber. You will first need to complete a puzzle to unlock the doors and enter the maze. Memorize the colors of the smoke coming from the rocks in front of the doors and click the colors in the same order on the piano. Repeat 3 times, and the doors will open. [Note: You will receive the Music Maestro stamp after completing the puzzle!]

Once you’re in, collect the free Lantern to help guide you through the maze.

Navigate through the maze across two different dark rooms. Once you’re reached the end of the second dark room the quest should be completed! Note that you can wear the Night Vision Goggles (Don’t have them? Click HERE for a guide on how to get them) to view the entire maze in night vision! [Note: you will receive the Party Puzzle stamp after completing the maze!]

Make a monster using the catalog in the Lab

You can enter the Monster Lab Room from the end of the second room of the maze. Once you’re there, click the Monster Maker catalog in the bottom right corner & buy any one of each:

• Head Item
• Body Item
• Feet Item

Equip the Head Item, Body Item, and Feet Item you just bought and the quest will be completed! [Note: If it still doesn’t work, try taking all items off then wearing each item again!]

Dance with 20 alien abductees in the Club

Wear the Alien Costume, which you can buy from the catalog at the Boiler Room for 200 coins, and go to the Dance Club. Once 19 other penguins are wearing the Alien Costume, the quest will be completed! Make sure you’re all dancing and wearing the Alien Costume only, and no other items.

Go swimming in the slime pool with 25 floaty ducks

Wear any duck floatie costume (you can buy the Wicked Duck from the 2nd page of the catalog at the Boiler Room for 75 coins) and press D to swim along with 24 other ducks at the Underground Pool to complete this quest. [Note: the Wicked Duck has a visual glitch where you look like you’re dancing and not swimming, but you will still get the quest!]

Use Ghoul Detectors with 30 penguins in the Forest

Buy the Ghoul Detector Jumpsuit (450 coins) and the Ghoul Detector 3000 (350 coins) from the Penguins at Work page of the Penguin Style Catalog and head to the Forest. Wear only these two items and press D to dance. The quest will be completed once there are 30 penguins in the room wearing Ghoul Detector Costumes and dancing!
