The Christmas Crusade II Is Over

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

The war between the United Front Alliance and the Elite Guardians is officially over and a neutral treaty has been signed!

After 26 gruelling battles, the Christmas Crusade II has finally ended. The war saw several armies declaring on the Elite Guardians, including the Army of Club Penguin, Coup Crusaders, People’s Imperial Confederation and Templars. These four armies formed the United Front Alliance to fight for their beliefs, aiming to beat the Guardians and inspire change and growth within the community.

The war started on Friday, December 22nd with all four armies declaring war on the Elite Guardians. ACP’s declaration post can be found HERE. Ultimately, the four armies declared for similar reasons, stating that they could not let what they had seen continue. However, because there was no map, the war would take place off-map without any land involved.

Without any land involved, the war raged on with both sides fighting for their lives to win the war. Yet, in reality, there was no outcome where either side could cleanly become the victor unless all armies involved were to agree. The Penguins Of Madagascar also got involved, declaring war on their allies, EGCP.

Because of the circumstances of the war, no-show battles were seen by the judges who hoped to see the action take place. Yet, this did not help either side as it saw motivation decrease but the intensity between the two rise. When battles were had, they were fiercely fought with both sides making it hard for the opposing side to get the edge. All armies involved brought their best and showed that they should not be underestimated.

Coup Crusaders went on to bow out of the war after a short period of time, making a peace treaty with the Guardians. However, the war still raged on. Neither side wanted to give up but as a month of war drew closer, both sides realised the need for peace. Ultimately, ACP had been fighting the Guardians since June 2023 (World War IX), with a tremendous amount of battles being had. The rivalry between the two armies was one of the biggest of 2023, carrying over into 2024.

On January 21st, the Elite Guardians and the United Front Alliance came to an agreement, creating a neutral peace treaty and ending the war.

The treaty was officially recognised as the Treaty of Mammoth-Zero Grau. The terms were as follows:

Neither side is recognised as the winner of the conflict

The treaty expires on February 21st 2024

Neither side may invade or assist in any invasions/defences against the opposing side until the treaty expires

Any attempt to rebrand or merge into another army to loophole out of the treaty will be considered as a violation of the war.

If any terms of the treaty are broken, six weeks will be added to the duration of the treaty and all of the offending army’s land will be forfeit to the opposing army.

As per treaty terms, there is no official winner of the war

The war was closely fought with both sides winning multiple battles. Therefore, it was decided that there was no victor of the war but all remaining armies can be commended for their strength during the war.

We would like to thank each and every troop and ally who has helped us during this war. This war would not have been possible without each and every one of you. The troops make the army and our allies help keep the army secure. We appreciate all the work that has been put in throughout the war, despite how draining it may or may not have been.

Thank you all for helping ACP. Be sure to keep your eyes open for our upcoming events! This Saturday, ACP will be attending the New Years Bonanza at 2pm est, hoping to win another tournament! You won’t want to miss it!
