Behind the Desk: Unmasking the Ego’s of the Office Workers

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

“it has come to our attention that the imperialists at the DRACP are more thin-skinned than what we were expecting, as of today” ~Excerpt from “Karma for who exactly?”, EGCP Website.

We offered kindness, and they chose to meet it with disrespect. We shall treat them with the same respect they have shown us.

Part I – An Offer of Goodwill Answered With Lies & Hostility

Back in May, with the announcement of EGCP planning on re-opening, our staff team was extremely excited to see a new face within the landscape in terms of competition. After a brief discussion, it was a unanimous decision by our HCOM team to approach EGCP with an offer to work towards an alliance with them and build each other up as we strive to do with all our allies. Yet, despite our goodwill, our offer was immediately met with hints toward warfare between the two armies. “I’m sure we’ll meet again in the future”. We chose to let this be but were met, once again, with hostilities as WWIX soon approached. However, before WWIX happened, despite EGCP not wanting to ally with any other armies, less than a week later they put out an announcement allying with our allies, the People’s Imperial Confederation as well as several others. If they didn’t want to ally with us, fine okay just say that. But instead, they went ahead to say they didn’t want any allies, hinted towards war, and allied with our allies as if they wanted to separate us from our allies to be able to war against us.

Hiding behind a wall of lies only gets you so far in this community and EGCP have revealed their true colors. From the get go EGCP had no intentions to ever be friendly with us despite their claim that they were “open to having friendly relationship” with us. If this was truly the case then why follow up that message with a cryptic hint at conflict and shutdown the idea of having a relations group chat between the two armies (which so happens to be the best way to foster friendly relations between armies)?

The reason is clear as to why EGCP did not want to have any sort of relations with ACP. For almost four years now, EGCP has been harboring a deep grudge against ACP that stems from feeling threatened by ACP’s presence. In 2019, the Elite Guardians were the first army to invade ACP after RFCP. Prior to ACP’s re-opening, EGCP was the top dog under RPF. When ACP had finally opened its doors to the public once more ACP stole their spotlight. To act as if EGCP and ACP didn’t have a past would be ignorant, but we were willing to look past that and aim for walking a new path as we have demonstrated throughout our leadership. While we have moved on to look toward the future, EGCP is stuck in the past over a grudge that not a single one of our staff members was even around for back then.

Their staff also have seemingly given inconsistent stories pertaining to ACP-EGCP beef. While some of their higher ups such as Edu claim “we had no beefs back then” other staff such as one of their high ranking staff members has on a repeated basis stated in both ACP voice chat as well as chat that the alliance offer was shot down because EGCP’s leaders and vets still heavily resent ACP for 2019. Two conflicting stories do not add up so the trail of lies continues …

Part II – Post-World War 9

Post World War IX, EGCP offered up a no-aggression pact to go alongside the treaty, before it was confirmed in exchange for land. This led to negotiations taking place and a land-for-land transfer happening. Before doing so, Edu stated that the transfer request was one which would “seal non-aggression relations”. However, despite saying this, we have seen a massive amount of disrespect towards ACP, whether it be to our faces or behind our backs. One of the most recent displays of disrespect and aggression towards the army was during a Gartic phone event. Gosh! Sound familiar anyone?

The aforementioned event included many pictures, including one of a person taking AustinFraud’s name and using it to make fun of, disrespect, and show aggression towards the Army of Club Penguin. As you can see below, there are some sketchy pictures, including, but not limited to, DRACP’s flag being burnt by both Masami and Edu.

If this isn’t enough to show that EGCP held a lot of aggression towards ACP, then there’s something wrong.

As well as this, there were multiple hints towards them declaring war against ACP. Edu himself confirmed that there was a war coming, and there were multiple comments, both disrespectful and not, about ACP and hints towards a war with us. As seen below – then with the screenshots of the Gartic phone event above, it’s clear to see the resentment held towards ACP despite “non-aggression”.

Also, to go alongside this, it was quite cute that they tried to hide this war by saying that they were going to war with the Army Republic. Now, you may be like “oh maybe it was in the past”. Well, that would be an easy assumption IF EGCP was even alive when AR was around, which they were not. These comments about AR were clearly directed towards ACP, and they did a poor job at trying to hide it.

Part III – Desecration of our Nation’s Flag

The D.R.A.C.P. never takes flag burning lightly. That is, first and foremost, a display of antagonism, and secondly, a blatant disrespect to the army, where we have only demonstrated friendliness on all fronts. Both an EGCP Advisor/ Legend and one of their troops have advocated for the burning of the D.R.A.C.P flag. Their troop would go around spamming the image in every single ACP Discord channel. I mean, we also know how to place a transparent fire graphic with watermarks on the EGCP flag.

Part IV – Supporting the Dark Vikings

Edu may be a leader of the past, but he has much control over EGCP and what they do. He remains an active part of their army and active in the community. He has often made comments about ACP, but what he said about the Dark Vikings is quite concerning. If you don’t know by now, Dark Vikings were recently sanctioned by Club Penguin Armies, which saw them expel DV from future tournaments. This was because of their disregard for the rules but also the harassment that was witnessed towards one of our allies, People’s Imperial Confederation.

Such (transphobic) tactics, as shown above, were used in-game to target and harass Sidie. Not only this but their harassment extended outside of warfare as they continued to target individuals of the army. As well as this, Dark Vikings are known to support and harbour doxxers within their own army ranks. They are openly racist, homophobic, transphobic etc., holding many bigoted views. Yet, despite all of this, Elite Guardians choose to welcome DV with open arms into their army and support them

Within their own army chat, Thunder, DV Leader, made comments about the KKK, a white-supremacist terrorist hate group. This alone should get a person removed from an army’s server. However, the Guardians not only kept supporting DV and Thunder, publically but they also allowed the material and message to stay in their chat, not even caring to delete it or warn Thunder about their behaviour.

Part V – Troopstealing

The pictures above are reasonable proof that EGCP tried to troopsteal our troops quite literally after a battle during the war. This wasn’t the first time that EGCP had tried to troopsteal one of our members, however. They have also tried to troopsteal one of our members during Legends Cup pictured down below, but this was before the war and one of our reasons for declaring. The above pictures show that despite us giving them the benefit of the doubt and not acting on this sooner, they continue to try and troopsteal and manipulate unsuspecting troops into joining their army.

How desperate must you really be EGCP to be resorting to underhanded actions such as these? If you were truly proud of your army and its sizes you wouldn’t be desperately cutting corners, such as the behavior exhibited above.

To summarize, their actions towards us, their comments about us and the disrespect that we have received, not to mention their relationship with DV was something that we could not ignore.

It is time for the community to wake up and see through the facade that is EGCP. We don’t think we need to say anything else on this subject. It’s clear to see EGCP’s corrupt moral values and where they truly lie. It is our duty to purge such morally-corrupt armies off the map and drive them out of the community.

Justice will be served.
