New Music Has Arrived to Club Penguin Rewritten

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters — Did you notice anything new when logging on for the last few events? Recently, the developers over at Club Penguin Rewritten have added to the growing collection and converted scores from other places to bring to the island for the Plaza and the Town. A game that spans over 16 years, Club Penguin has produced a lot of original music that we all know and love. Let’s take a quick listen to them.

Stu, one of CPR’s administrators, uploaded mp3 files to the official CPR Discord. When I logged on about a week ago and noticed the changes to the music in these rooms, I was honestly quite floored. The music in the Town can also be heard in the Snow Forts while the music in the Plaza can also be heard in the new Welcome Room.

Throughout my time playing Club Penguin, there have been many music changes to rooms. However, these two in particular have a pretty original vibe to them. For me, the give off the appeal of logging onto an MMO (which I guess, Club Penguin really is one). The last time the Town had a big change in music was in 2015. Most people had come to adore the old Town music, so when they changed it, it turned out to be quite controversial.

What do you think? Do you like the 2014 or the 2015 version? Between the new music on CPR, which one do you think is better? Even though the Plaza room sounds so epic, I think my favorite is the new Town music. It’s definitely something I can just vibe while I AFK. It’s unsure if the new soundtracks will be here to stay; however, if they are permanent then I welcome it with open arms.

Keep those snowballs coming!
