RECRUITERS OF THE WEEK

ACP had two Recruiters of the Week for this week, and they were none other than myself, Rarity, and Lirri! I got 1 recruit and 2 activations, Rarity got three activations, and Lirri got one new recruit! Thank you all for your hard work.

I reached out to them for comment, and here’s what they had to say.

Rarity: I’m proud to have received the honor of ROTW but I will admit it is one of the hardest things I’ve ever gotten in ACP. I’m glad to have at least checked it off my bucket list.

THIRTEENTH SOLDIER OF THE WEEK

The fourteenth-ever Soldier of the Week for ACP is one of our amazing Doll! She has a great sense of humor and is so positive in chat. Fun fact, she is also cAt_‘s IRL sister! Check out her acceptance speech through this link.

WAR AGAINST DARK VIKINGS

This last week, the DRACP declared war on the Dark Vikings for many reasons. We had no choice but to declare war after several hostile activities. Read more here, and keep an eye on the server for upcoming war events. This week we gave Dark Vikings five servers so it could be a traditional war following private server army rules. Technically, they never accepted, but we continue to invade and battle.

03/31/23: INVASION OF DELTA

On March 23, ACP troops logged on to Delta for our first battle of the Dark Vikings war. DV did not show up like the scaredy cats they are, but nonetheless, ACP was successful. Read the recap post here.

04/01/23: INVASION OF KLONDIKE

Our second invasion of the Dark Vikings battle of Klondike was successful due to the Dark Vikings not showing once again. Troops who attended earned the special Gov. of Klondike role. Check out the recap post here.

ARMY OF CLUB ROBLOX

A reminder once again that ACP now has its own dedicated Roblox group with ranks called Army of Club Roblox! As part of our effort to expand our reach into other communities for recruiting and fun events, we will be utilizing this new Roblox group for organizing fun Roblox Break Day events and doing Robux Payouts through it when we hit max goals!

JOKE COMPETITION

Our joke competition came to an end, and we had three winners! In first place was AOL, with “What does ACP say to distract the enemy? Look Clover there!” followed by Poke with “Why didn’t the skeleton cross the road? He didn’t have the guts to do it.” and finally bee with “Have you heard about those chimney prices? You’d think they’re on the house, but it turns out they’re through the roof!”

Everyone who participated received clovers, and all jokes were submitted to Super (the CPAB admin), so there is still a chance to win Nitro!

SIX YEARS SINCE CLUB PENGUIN SHUT DOWN

The beginning of the month saw the sixth anniversary of the original Club Penguin shutting down, and, amazingly, the community has persevered since then.

NEW STAFF

With the beginning of ACP‘s war with the Dark Vikings, Calgo announced three new staff hires this week. The first was DeeP, who has a plethora of leadership experience in other armies. He has a history of trouble-making but has spent the past few years growing and learning. DeeP climbed through the ranks and joined our team as a Brigadier General. We are so excited to have him join our team! I reached out to him for comment.

Thank you to everyone for allowing me to be a part of the ACP community, it really is the best army to be in. I hope to see us grow to the number 1 spot time and time again, and hold bonds stronger than covalent.

ACP also announced that Coolguy, a recent SWAT retiree, would join the HCOM team as a Field Marshal! He spent the past three years leading SWAT and decided to pursue something new. Even though ACP and SWAT had differences in the past, Calgo and Coolguy have always had similar goals. Check out his introduction post on our Shamrock Bulletin here, and give him a warm welcome.

Olimad rejoined our staff team and has been in armies since 2014, and is an ACP veteran. Oli wants to help us reinforce the family we have strived to build here at ACP and is rumored to rival Calgo in Nitro giveaways. Oli joined as a Brigadier General, and we are so happy to have him!
