Back in 2009, the community was disappointed by the lack of wars, but came up with solutions – in fact, in just a week.
Now, in 2026, the community is disappointed by the lack of wars. We have failed to seek solutions after months of discussions.
Well, I’m bringing you the same proposal that was given back then to solve the same issue temporarily while also, hopefully, having fun: carrying out a World War For Fun (WWFF). If you aren’t aware, World Wars For Fun were done when the community felt like it was lacking wars. Taking place on the entire island, teams would control specific rooms and sections of the island. If you conquered a room, you advanced. If you lost, you retreated. Simple, isn’t it?
In the first iteration, it was divided among “nations”. Armies would be allocated into groups (without considering alliances) and would wage war for control of the map, all of it on the same day. The armies involved were mostly Major Armies, but small/medium armies were also allowed to take part.

For this current iteration, the wish is to recreate the same concept. Hopefully, setting aside any kind of differences, working together and have fun all around with this new (or old) concept.
To make things fair, I’ve decided to make two teams. First of all, so the bigger armies don’t pick on the smaller ones (and if it happens, so they may get enough backup), and so that you may use strategy to win. The initially invited teams will be major armies (except one due to their recent cheating scandal). To keep it easy on everyone, it will be only the Top 6 armies on the Top Ten of the Month for August.

Red is Team 1.
Blue is Team 2.
The map will also function like this:
- White: No battle can occur here.
- Light Green: Aliens
- Dark Blue: Water Vikings
- Black: Dark Warriors [the reason why DW owns Plaza & Town is that they’re connected through the underground].
- Teal: Help Force
- Grey: Rebel Penguin Federation
- Dark Green: ACP

CPAJ judges will be presented with the proposal, as we wish to have this judged. How it will work is this: winners will be decided within the length of one 10-minute room. A battle doesn’t begin when the clock dictates, but rather when two armies encounter each other, or when an army invades a room they don’t own. This allows for periods of recon by HCOM to see which of your land is being invaded. Depending on who wins, they’ll have the option to advance; the other army has to retreat. One judge will follow a selected army the entire time. For example:
– One judge is following RPF.
– Another is following ACP.
– ACP and RPF encounter on the battlefield. Both judges get in contact to judge that room.
– Once the room is over, a winner is declared. The judges keep following their respective armies.
Other scenario (1):
– ACP shows up to a room owned by WV.
– WV doesn’t defend it.
– After 5 minutes of no show, ACP claims the room and can advance.
Other scenario (2):
– ACP invades a room both WV and RPF are battling for.
– ACP & WV count as one army, and could change the course of the already in-course 10-minute battle. The winner of the room would be decided after the already-in-course battle is over, and would go to RPF or WV. ACP in this case is just support to WV.
Extra rule:
– Armies can only go to rooms adjacent to theirs.
– If a room is connected to another room through underground or other rooms, they count as adjacent. Example: ACP owns the Mine Shack. DW is at Town. They have a connection through the underground. DW and ACP can invade each other. Same goes with Plaza rooms.
– The battle has to be led in-game. This means that no BWBs or big chat bubble tactics, and quick thinking and on-the-spot phrases are encouraged more often.
– The winner is decided by who owns most rooms!
If armies allow this, we can make this a 40-minute battle to give enough time to go around a bunch of rooms fighting for them.
I do want to note that this is meant to be fun, and while it is being judged, try not to take it too seriously, as we expect it to be chaos too! This concept is new for judges as well, and mostly an experiment, too.
First question: why have this judged in the first place? Well, there will be a small trophy to be given to the winners! It has already been designed by Zamb.
Second question: why is the map shown on Club Penguin Journey? To keep this as organic and authentic to the original idea, the goal is to do this on a civil Club Penguin Private Server. I’ve approached CPJ for this, and they’ve given the green light!

We will do our best to follow what they’ve asked for, so we won’t use those rooms and won’t go into the usual busier rooms. We will also use a 1-bar server (the emptiest one on the day of), which is what was agreed with the CPJ devs!
The proposed date is this:
Sunday, September 20th @ 4 pm EST.
If you’re interested, please confirm! If you have better ideas or questions about how this could be carried out, let me know.
