[IMPORTANT] About Patrols New

As mentioned in our Declaration of War vs. Templars, patrols will come back after many years of absence.

What are patrols?

Before a map even existed, armies operated only on the Club Penguin servers. This is where the names of most of the servers in our current map come from. The concept of having control of a server has changed, but back then, a large force would invade a server (sometimes owned by that other army) and would claim it through sheer presence and size. Once that server was in the hands of the army, patrols would begin and alert the leadership to the presence of any members of other armies or raids.

This is what it truly means to own a server and have land on Club Penguin.

When patrolling, ACP troops would do it either alone or in small groups, to stay on the lookout for the troops of any other army looking to raid the server.
Once that happened, the higher command would be alerted, and skirmishes or even battles themselves would happen.

Patrolling slowly ceased to exist over time after Club Penguin’s closure. The way Club Penguin Private Servers and battling have evolved has made patrolling useless.
With our current war against the Templars of Club Penguin being on Club Penguin Journey, we’re being forced to go back to these now ancient methods.

Templars have asked me directly: What is our goal with this war? (As if it wasn’t clear enough)
Well, let me make it fully clear: Our goal is to completely get rid of any Templar presence on Club Penguin Journey. We will do anything it takes to achieve it.
Currently, Templars are the army that holds the most events on Blizzard.
This also means their presence is mostly on this server.

Our objective will be to impose our presence on Blizzard, then officially invade it tomorrow, April 30th.
After that, patrolling will continue to avoid Templars being on that server at all. It will be ours to take.
Patrolling will officially commence as of the release of this post, and there will be many rewards for those who wish to participate.
In addition, as it’s the server we host most events on, Sleet will also be claimed by the Army of Club Penguin from this moment onward, and will be reflected on our Nation page. Other armies are completely fine to host events or recruit on it, as our current goal is to avoid Templars being on these servers. Patrols should occur here, and on Blizzard frequently.

A new channel in our Discord has been made for this: #patrols.

Here, you will post any patrol you did going across rooms, or whether you find a Templar scurrying around trying to recruit on these servers. Your job is to stop them and make it clear they cannot do it on these servers. Engage them with emote or joke bombs until reinforcements arrive. If they’re holding a raid (another name for an event), then you must report it in that channel to ACP leadership so we can act swiftly, and maybe even have the entire army log on to engage in combat.

Patrolling will remain throughout this war, and in the future, we’ll decide whether it is viable to keep it or not. For now, have fun and bother some Templars!

Identifying The Enemy: Friend Or Foe?

When patrolling, look out for large groups of yellow penguins. The official Templars’ uniform for Club Penguin Journey is down below, but I’ve added some variants (their ‘Nation’ uniforms) as they’re never seen with that uniform.

Templars’ Club Penguin Journey Uniform
Templars’ Tuba Nation Uniform
Templars’ Lei Nation Uniform (any Lei)
Official Templars’ Uniform
It is very unlikely that you will see them around in this.

Here are the rewards you can earn:

Of course, because of the use of Discord now and the many new tools we have, compared to XAT, we will try to make this even more rewarding for you all.

  • Catching a Templar’s secret raid/event: 20 clovers
  • Catching a Templar recruiting: 5 clovers

Every 20 clovers you earn from this process, you will be able to rank up within this new ‘patrolling institution’.

The ranks are as follows:
(From top to bottom)

  • Patrol Captain
  • Senior Patroller
  • Patroller

These ranks will be under the ‘Government’ section, beside Recruiting Force & ACPTR.

Please remember that this is currently prototypical to adjust to the current state of armies.
Changes can be made and will most likely happen.

Also, whenever you have the chance, please get our Club Penguin Journey uniform (click HERE to access it). We’ll most likely be using it over the next few days. Showcase to others how proud you are to be ACP!

When patrolling, we recommend using the ACP uniform, but you may also choose to hide in the shadows like the great PSA agents you are.

Let’s finish this war quickly and show Templars that we are not to be messed with.

Remember to keep patrolling!
