[URGENT] Declaration of War on Scarlet Republic

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

Disclaimer: Please refrain from attacking or targeting any individual or community mentioned in this post.

From Close Friends to Strangers, and Now to Foes.

The Scarlet Republic is not unknown to any of us. Created by our old friend Ghostt in January of last year, it was an army we heavily advocated for ever since its creation.

With initial intentions of eventually allying with SR, we helped Ghostt achieve his dream, as he had expressed that the major army scene was not suited for him. We understood, as some of us had gone through similar circumstances before. This meant that many members of our higher command team were putting in direct or indirect effort to help him build his army, whilst also attending the first few events of it. That was our first mistake.

Of course, leaving ACP would mean some of his friends would leave too, with him. We were fine with that, though, after all, we’re all here to have fun, and we wouldn’t want to take that away from him and his friend group, no matter how much that actually hurt ACP in the long run. We allowed Ghostt to publish a goodbye letter (this was posted in our announcements channel), as he was loved by a lot of people within our community. That was our second mistake.

The bottom line is, after we had put in so much effort to help one of our moderators create an army of his own, the Scarlet Republic ended up greatly hurting ACP in return.

The Cost of Loyalty

When Helping a Friend Turned Into Our Greatest Mistake

To begin, we’d like to point out the many lies Ghostt himself had told to the public. These range from his false statements in his goodbye letter to his claim that ACP’s assistance in the founding days of the army was nothing but a ploy to create an ACP colony out of SR. We’ll also be showing how the SR leadership took advantage of ACP members, asking many of them to attend SR events without letting the ACP leadership know that this was happening.

In his goodbye letter, Ghost said the following: “I am very, very thankful for all the memories I made and all the people I met while I was a member of ACP.” However, his later messages suggest that he regretted his time in ACP:

So, we fulfilled his wish and changed his server access to visitor-level access, while keeping his veteran status out of respect. Here, confusion arises:

Moreover, after ACP had put in great amounts of support towards SR, and had made clear our intentions of allying, Ghostt later claimed that we only aimed to colonize his army. Additionally, Ghostt also admitted that his motives to leave the army were not those that he had mentioned in his goodbye letter. He also mentioned that many of his initial ideas were from ACP, further proving that ACP was a major supporter in the army’s first days.

This was never the case, because when we were just discussing his first few steps with the army, this was said:

At the time, Ghostt also criticized the fact that we had a visitor chat. In fact, visitor chat in our Discord was something that sparked a lot of talk within the army community. More than any other visitor chat, actually – with ours being mentioned and criticized in posts, despite not being the first of its kind. During that time, it actually served its purpose. To keep drama that didn’t need to go into ACP, outside of it…

The toxicity is what we tried to keep away from our server, for a more welcoming one.

…but also to stop other armies from asking our members to attend their events in broad daylight.

When confronted with the fact that our members were asked to attend without our consent, we were berated:

The final message sent by image was cropped out, out of respect for him.

We don’t believe the apology to be genuine, as it was six months later, while it also seems it was only to be on good terms to attend their anniversary.

When we declared war on Aliens, we did it to stand up for ourselves, to show that no matter who would wrong us, we’d make a stand. And yet, our own old blood, whom we wished the best for, turned out to be the most outspoken and involved, even more than those whom we declared war directly against. When Ghostt attended for Aliens during the war, double enlisted, the war terms were broken. We complained for justice, understood why the second chance was given, while also stating that we didn’t want to end the war on a treaty breakage. Still, though, we couldn’t help but feel wronged, especially by the one we lent a hand to in the past:

Standing Our Ground

We said it once, we did it once, and we’ll do it again:
The Army of Club Penguin will stand up and fight against those who wrong us, no matter who they are.

Despite this declaration, Scarlet Republic will not be categorized as enemies.

We will now officially commence the Siege of Rhodes,
Rhodes being the dwelling place of Helios, the sun god.

Invasion of Deu Branco
Tuesday, January 20th, 3:05pm EST

I. All CPA map war rules apply throughout this war.
II. Any breakage of the General Battle Terms is not allowed.
III. Only official CPAJ judges may judge the battles.
IV. Any merge will be deemed invalid by either army.
V. All battles must occur on CPA Battleground; no other CPPS may be used.
VII. All war battles must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance with the CPA league, and all land will be locked.
VIII. If any terms above are broken, or if all land is captured, the army that broke it automatically surrenders this war, and the winning side may impose a treaty.

Part of them used to be a part of us, too.

DEFEND FREEDOM, PRESERVE JUSTICE

  1. LETS WIN THIS

  2. SR cannot get away with their lies. ACP literally said they do not want to be seen as colonizing and acted to avoid such accusations, only for SR to claim that is what ACP wanted, the audacity. What even is the point of bashing people that did nothing by try to help you and only wants the best for you. They should be grateful for all the support ACP gave. It was not entirely ACP that got them to where they are, but don’t bite the hand that feeds you!
