Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin
BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – As one month ends another one begins. We are diving into the month of October to find out what the top 3 moments of the month were this time around.
October was another month that saw the Army of Club Penguin undergo many changes as we dived head-first into another tournament. As the month started, there was a major change in the leadership which shocked many members. This was a big moment for the army but was it the biggest? With the training regiment re-opening and ACP dominating the Top Tens, the army kept on fighting and achieving success. But which moment took the top spot? Let’s find out!
3. Calgo Awarded the Medal of Honor
A highly anticipated moment for Calgocubs arrived on the 13th of October as CSY released a post on behalf of the committee within the army. This committee is in charge of giving out prestigious honours to those deserving. All of these honours are hard to earn with only a select few individuals holding each honour. However, CSY bestowed the Medal of Honour upon Calgocubs after leading the army for just over a year and achieving many great accomplishments along the way. He became the 3rd ever person in the CPPS era to receive the Medal of Honour. The fact that he is the 3rd person to achieve the medal in the CPPS proved how difficult it is to achieve and how much effort and dedication he put into improving the army for the better.
2. ACP Wins the Trick or Treat Trials Tournament
On October 14th, Club Penguin Armies released their plans for the ‘Trick or Treat Trials‘ Tournament. While the name confused some, the tournament was scheduled to take place over 2 weeks with ‘The Trials’ being the first round and the Grand Finals being the second. The Trials saw six armies take their place on CPABattleground to fight off every other army to try and win. However, this battle was quite different than most battles. Every 10 minutes armies were tasked with choosing a ‘Trick’ or ‘Treat’ room. The treat rooms would be a normal battle, however, the trick rooms saw armies tasked with a challenge that they’d have to take on throughout the room. For each challenge/room won, an army was given points. The two armies with the most points went on to the finals. Help Force joined ACP in the finals of the tournament, fighting hard to win. Ultimately, ACP came out on top, gaining their second tournament win of the year.
1. Calgocubs21 Retires from ACP Leadership
The biggest moment of the month came in the form of a major leadership change. Calgocubs, ACP’s 49th Commander in Chief, announced his retirement from the leadership on the first of October. An event was held to celebrate the leadership of Calgocubs which saw 50+ people turn up to send Calgo off in style. Despite retiring from the leadership, Calgo took his place in the advisory team of the army, helping to oversee operations and advise when needed. It was undoubtedly the biggest moment of the month, sending shockwaves throughout the community.
And there we have it. The top three moments of the month have been decided and the month is in the history books. These moments are sure to be remembered as each one of them are special and will hold a place within ACP’s history for the rest of its life. With that said, what is next for ACP? Will this historic reign continue?
