Moment of The Month: June

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – The month of June was a chaotic one for both the Army of Club Penguin and for the entire community. From the World War to the after-effects of the war, the community was shaken to its core but surprisingly many moments came out of it. Let’s get into what these moments were!

The start of June saw World War IX break out with Elite Guardians, Rebel Penguin Federation and Water Vikings declaring war on the Army of Club Penguin. Soon after, ACP and the Templars joined forces with the Sapphire Concordat Alliance to take down the 3 armies dubbed as the Blue Sunset Alliance.

The war raged on for 32 battles over the course of 10 days before coming to a neutral ending with both sides signing a treaty. The end of the war saw multiple things take place from land transfers to the Shamrock Bulletin pushing out even more posts. With that said, let’s find out what you voted for as the top three moments of June!

3. Austin and Coolguy’s 50th Leader Induction Ceremony Takes Place.

Nearly one month after becoming leaders, Austin and Coolguy’s induction ceremony finally took place with both of the leaders being officially sworn in by the army, in-game. The leaders had already fought through two wars before their ceremony and declared they were prepared for any and all challenges to come. Both Austin and Coolguy released posts regarding their induction as leaders. Austin’s post and be read here. Coolguy’s post can be read here. It’s clear to see that they have big plans for the army. Will we see these plans in effect in the near future?

2. RPF’s Nation & Tuxedo Forfeited to ACP for Treaty Violation

The World War was an event which affected almost the entire community. However, to everyone’s surprise, the treaty signed by both alliances (Blue Sunset and Sapphire Concordat), was soon broken, mistakenly, by the Rebels as they mentioned a score in their end-of-war post. As per the treaty, the war score was wiped, meaning that there would be no official winners of the war. This meant that stating otherwise was against the treaty’s terms. This led to the Rebels having to surrender their land to the opposition alliance. ACP claimed Tuxedo, 16 Years In The Making, Glacier, Chinook, Great White, and Mchdonalds, while the other servers were divided up between the other members.

PIC, temporarily claimed Tuxedo before, passing it around to other alliance members before ACP claimed it, permanently.

1. The Revitalization of ACP’s Staff Team: 11 Members Join

Towards the end of World War 9, ACP witnessed a revitalisation of its staff team as 11 members joined the staff team. These members were Can, Hightower, Honey, Marquis, Fin, Clade, Noa, Zoomey, Geneysis, Ugly, and Nacho. Not only were these members introduced to the staff team, Nefe received a promotion to Major General. The new and old staff team were quick to prove their worth as they competed for the Recruiter of the Week. Noa earned the role in their first week as a staff member with an amazing 15 recruits and one activation. This showed the quality of the staff team and the work they’d continue to do.

And there we have it, after a month of events, wars and changes, the top three moments have been decided. Despite a World War taking place, ACP’s staff team revitalization was able to gain the top spot in our top three moments of the month. Is this because of the importance that the staff team had on ACP’s performance?
