Moment of The Month: May

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – The month of May went by quickly and the momentum that May held only carried through to the month of June. With that said, it’s finally time for us to introduce you to the top moments of May!

May was certainly a busy month as it saw multiple wars break out within the community, many changes in the Top Tens and much more. The month was full of surprises which only continued as the month went on. During the month, there was also a monumental change in the Army of Club Penguin that not only changed the landscape of the army itself but it also went on to impact the whole community. With that said, let’s find out what you voted for as the top three moments of May!

3. SWAT Surrender The War of Unfinished Business

Written by AustinFraud

On the 29th of May, shortly after the Triumvirate had been constituted, the War of Unfinished Business was declared against Special Weapons and Tactics. Only a day after the declaration, the leadership of Special Weapons and Tactics issued an official statement stating that they would be withdrawing from the Club Penguin Armies map. This would ultimately be interpreted as surrendering to ACP due to the terms of the war. SWAT wished for the Bloodbath Barrage, a non-map war against the Dark Vikings as part of the Sapphire Concordat, to be their primary focus. Consequentially, the Clovers imposed a force treaty on the Agents on June 4th as a result of their decision to withdraw from the War of Unfinished Business. This allowed the Army of Club Penguin to acquire all of SWAT’s lands, reaching the maximum number of land that an army could hold.

2. ACP Smash The Record For First Place Finishes in The CPPS Era

“16 years In The Making” is the motto of the current generation of ACP, hoping to make history by dominating. Whilst the Clovers haven’t achieved all of their goals just yet, they’re eager to make each and every one of them a reality. Alongside this, they have already set new records under the leadership of Calgocubs21. After approximately three years, a new record for first-place finishes under a single leader in the CPPS era (5) was set. This record was not only broken but extended and will continue to be extended by the triumvirate, setting the record in stone for future generations to try and break.

1. ACP’s Future Unveiled! Phase 3, War and a Triumvirate Introduction!

Written by Calgo

On the 28th of May, Calgocubs21 dropped a bombshell post right on the brink of summer that would shock the community, far and wide. The post was three important announcements all packaged into one single announcement with the sole intent of setting ACP on its next path and making ACP’s plans clear to all within the community. The first part announced the retirement of Project: Ascent, this was then to be replaced with the third and final project dubbed Project: Domination. ACP set its sites on the battlefield and conquering the community through wars, leading to the War of Unfinished Business. The second portion of the announcement introduced both Coolguy & AustinFraud as the 50th Commander in Chiefs to form the third triumvirate alongside Calgo. The final announcement which tied it all together was a war declaration on SWAT, hidden at the bottom, dubbed the War of Unfinished Business. This post is believed to be a source of what originally sparked World War 9 (in june) as armies such as Elite Guardians, Water Vikings, and Rebel Penguin Federation united and declared on ACP.

And there we have it. Our top three moments of May have been decided. Phase 3 saw a monumental change within the Army of Club Penguin, one that will change the future of ACP. With that said, what will come of Phase 3? Will the new triumvirate lead ACP to monumental victories? Will the leadership continue to break records? Only time will tell.

What was your favorite moment of May? Do you agree with the top three moments? Make sure to comment what YOU think below!
