Moment of The Month: April 2023

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – April has passed us by and we’re approaching the end of May. It’s finally time for us to introduce to you the top moments of April!

April saw a lot of big moments take place including the end of the Muddy Marathon War. Whilst the month was a busy one, the army definitely didn’t take any time to rest as the army kept going from one task to the next, keeping active and aiming for much bigger goals. The moments that were in the running for the Moment of the Month are a testament to that. Each moment represented something new that the Army of Club Penguin did, aimed for, or partook in.

So, without further ado, here are our top 3 moments of April.

3. Mchappy Departs From His Advisory Role

On April 23, the Army of Club Penguin legend, Mchappy, announced his official retirement from the army, relinquishing all roles he was holding. However, despite this being a sad occasion for the army, it wasn’t all gloom, as Mchappy found some satisfaction after devoting much of his time in armies to the clover army. From leading, in the past, to maintaining an active advisor and member of the army/community, Mchappy truly would be missed. He name-dropped ChainproKolowayCSYKailey310MaxCubsterFatChicken88Jesus1_4, and Calgocubs2 for their dedication and work in the army, thanking them for the work they’ve done. He believed that without these key individuals, ACP would not be as successful as it is today. However, we would also like to thank Mchappy for all he did within the army because despite not leading all of this time, he has been a rock that the army could depend on and turn to whenever it needed help or support. Alongside the post-drop, he became an Executive Producer in Club Penguin Armies, announcing it as one of the last things he will be doing in the community to further help it strive and survive. We truly wish Mchappy all the best.

2. ACP Clinches #1 For The Third Time Under Calgo’s Leadership

For the third time under Calgocubs, ACP clinched the top spot on Club Penguin Armies’ Top Ten. This was a momentous occasion for ACP because the top-placed finish came just a month after the army’s last top-placed finish. It also meant that the army was just one step closer to equalising CSY’s record of 4 first-place finishes in the Top Ten (in the CPPS era). Not only was the achievement big but the army had also consistently maintained the biggest AUSIA, UK, and US sizes. The army was attaining the highest sizes in the community, week after week, and had no plans to slow down. This is the reason that the moment was one of the biggest of the month, solidifying its place in second.

1. Mads promoted to HCOM

Mads, a member who first joined the army way back in 2010, was a dedicated staff member who tried their best to do everything they possibly can for the army, taking time out of their schedule to work on ACP-related things, from recruiting to helping out anyone they can. Despite only rejoining the army in January 2023 and having many stints in the army (2010-2013, 2019) they soon made their mark both as an experienced head/veteran and as a staff member. It was their hard work and dedication that earned them their promotion to General, officially becoming a High Command member. After gaining the role, Mads, once more went on to work some more and create an official introduction to themselves, both as a person and as a HCOM member, giving the members of the army, who may or may not know them, some more information about themselves. Now, Mads is a present figure within the HCOM team and helps to keep the army fully functional.

There were a lot of moments that were contending for the top moment of the month, however, only three could make it into the post and only one could be the top moment of the month. However, Mads has obliterated the debate, making their own mark in the Moment of the Month posts. Do you agree with the top 3 moments of the month?
