Happy new year ACP!
December was a month filled with Christmas preparations, as ACP hosted many christmas-themed events and the website and server changed into a Christmas theme. During December, the Christmas Chaos tournament took place. We swept against the Dark Warriors in the Quarterfinals, and challenged the Rebel Penguin Federation in the Semifinals. Most of the army community thought they would simply sweep us. However, we fought hard and took RPF into overtime. Despite losing in the end, we put up an excellent fight. This wouldn’t have been possible without the backbone of our army, our beloved troops. One of them stood out from the rest with their hard work, and we think they deserve this award. November is now over. Winter is here. That also means a new Troop of the Month recipient! Last month was very innovative, or at least that’s one way to put it. We participated in The Ragnarök Olympics vs. Water Vikings, taking part in daily challenges, creative battles, and much more. In the end, the Army of Club Penguin took the victory with a score of [8-1-4]. ACP hit #2 on the monthly Top Ten, and remained as #2 throughout most of the month on the weekly Top Tens – incredible job! Towards the end of November, though, we saw the retirement of one of our long-time staff members, Noa. HELLO THERE, ACP!
October was an eventful month, packed with spooky events and unforgettable memories! The Halloween spirit was in full force in the final week of the month, marking a week full of memorable moments. The undeniable highlight of the month was the October Horrors tournament, where we managed to tie against a formidable opponent- the Aliens in the Semi Finals. This result led to a three-way Final later the same day against WV and Aliens. While the trophy may not have been in our grasp, the battle was truly a nerve-wracking and exciting experience which would have not been possible without a certain individual’s immense dedication. September was an incredible month, to say the least. When the community expects a drop, commonly known as the September Drop, the Army of Club Penguin somehow always manages to overcome it. This time around, it was no exception. We held many events which led up to our anniversary: a week commemorating our revival & our past allies, a week with a Civil War erupting, a week looking back into the old practices of our army, and finally, anniversary week. To say July has flown by would be an understatement. A lot of action has happened. The Army of Club Penguin Training Regiment reopened its doors after 7 months, and 13 troops successfully graduated – meaning we made history, surpassing the count of 300 graduates ever! We then also began our participation in the Olympics organized by CPA, in which we now have a lead of 51 points at this current moment of writing this post, 36 points above second place. Lastly, ACP went into the Legends Cup XV tournament, with a lot of expectations – only to be cut short by Help Force in the Quarterfinals. Despite this loss, there are many who we saw take initiative, who were very hungry for way more. One of them specifically stood out to many of us, and now will be rewarded for their work.
