RPF 1: Against Justice

This is the first part of a series of documents which contains public information from the RPF procured
through their website, and through other various means. This particular document displays the Rebel
Penguin Federation’s hypocrisy for their own personal gain.

Part 1: Size Inflation

This part responds to one of the meticulous points made in the RPF’s declaration of war “When you’re
using our sizes to back up your size inflation, that seems like an issue.” In ACP’s initial response to
the leak, the Army of Club Penguin at no point named Rebel Penguin Federation’s sizes to
substantiate our own “size inflation” – yet the RPF seem to believe the ACP were referring to them.
This points towards the fact that the RPF themselves admit to being perpetrators of the trend of size
inflation – in which evidence below will present.

As not a former member of the Rebel Penguin Federation, this hypocrisy disgusts me. This army is
not to be trusted, at least in their max claims.

Part 2: Size Inflation or breaking Terms of War?

Sidie9, current PIC leader – counted into RPF’s “max” pictures. Attending as an ally and breaking the
terms of the war, or counted into the max to inflate sizes?

With RPF’s pretty much public declaration that Sidie9 contributed to their sizes, and the fact that Sidie9
was in the RPF formation, perhaps it is not farfetched to claim that RPF has forfeited the war.

This segment in particular is one of my favorites. RPF ownership displays such attempts to publish
terms to give ACP no chances at all, while either inflating their sizes or calling on allies. (I’d say
maybe they made an honest mistake and needed help counting, but with their firm statements in
CPAM chat about how ACP needs to visit the optometrist…)

Part 3: Raiding ACP

Amidst RPF’s self-righteous ‘crusade’, claiming that ACP “raid[ed] our events dressed up as rogues”,
it seems that RPF are too guilty of this – even going as far as to raid our recruitment.

In addition, another troop, likely on an alt, raided the Army of Club Penguin’s 2nd recruiting event once
more.

ACP gets it. You don’t want us to have allies to stand a chance against your Supreme Saturday max
180 army. You won’t even let us have troops that are dual enlisted to attend. You want to curbstomp
an army that maxes 3x less than you, for reasons that we have proved to be utter baloney.
At least let us recruit to try and match up – or are you here to ruin that too?

(I will note here that this situation has already been brought up with RPF leader Ultipenguinj with
promises to “follow through”, I’ll still include this here since “providing solutions to a situation” doesn’t
seem to matter to the RPF, evident with their war declaration over things that ACP already
clearly addressed.)

Concluding Remarks
This post is too long already so I’ll make it brief. Here I have compiled evidence that RPF:
1) Inflates sizes
2) Either inflates sizes, or has called on allies for help
3) Raids ACP recruiting events
Don’t call us out on something you do yourself.
We rise from this.

[AUSIA] Defence of Mammoth – VICTORY!

WAR SCORE: 1-0-0

Hello ACP!

Today the Army of Club Penguin made history, as we took home a 3-0 victory against the RPF. We maxed 45, a size that proved too much for RPF and their man with a plan. The RPF are going to regret taking us on, this war is a CLOVER CRUSADE5 clovers if you came!

The RPF troops know it was an ACP victory too!

We really do.

[URGENT] Call to Arms Against RPF War

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin – Veterans, Members, and Allies.
This is not a drill.
I repeat, this is not a drill.
The Rebel Penguin Federation has declared war on the Army of Club Penguin, under a facade of righteousness; setting blatantly impossible terms if ACP wanted to put up a good fight.
I am here to appeal to all walks of the community – friends, or foes, allies or enemies. The Army of Club Penguin only wishes for peace – we have time and time again proven we are here for what we stand for – to defend feedom, and preserve justice.
This is the call to arms. ACP is reaching out to all soldiers, and asking them to come back to assist our war efforts. We have now added a plethora of members to our ranks:
Adden433 – Former WV Leader, Former WV Leader (US)
Nick – Former WV 3IC (US)
Koloway – Former ACP Leader, Former Doritos LIT, Former RPF staff (US)
Stevos – Former ACP Moderator (US)
Lenco – Former Metal Warriors Creator, ACP 3ic (EU)
Kreatos – Former Lightning Striker Creator, UMA (US)
Lord Flash  – Former ACP Moderator (AUSIA)
Ming – KG007, DW, ACP (US)
Sirplus – Former ACP 4ic (US)
Mikemate – Former ACP HCOM (US)
Litt7 – Former RPF staff (US)
(In no particular order)
Welcome all ACP, new or old. This is the official call to arms. Chaos has also come to our side, to assist in war efforts. More will be revealed later.
We rise from this.

Response to RPF’s Declaration of War

Addressed to Rebel Penguin Federation and CPR community.

Earlier today the Rebel Penguin Federation declared war on the Army of Club Penguin. They stated their sole reason for doing so was because of the leaked staff chats several days ago. I will address everything here, to show the community that the declared reasons were completely unwarranted, and RPF declared war simply, to pick on a smaller army.

CP Army Media Bias
In their post, the RPF first discuss the leaked screenshots that address a “CPAM Bias”. As addressed in my previous response post, I was part of setting up CPAM, and helped in any way I could to get it off its feet. The “allegation” that a staff member is part of the CPAM staff team with an “explicit plan to take down [RPF]” is exaggerated at best – and is indeed completely false. Earthing was NOT a member of CPAM staff. He also left as soon as the chats were leaked. (Post). Unless I’m missing something, there is no evidence suggesting ACP/CPAM corruption, other than some random trash-talking.

In fact, the following picture shows that Ayan, CPAM CEO, has no issue with any of the leaked images regarding CPAM.

If CPAM’s CEO has no issue with it, then why do RPF? Why are you fighting a battle on behalf of CPAM – that CPAM themselves don’t acknowledge exists?

Public statement made by Ayan about how CPAM and ACP relations are still strong after this incident.

From the above – The claim that ACP has a “plan” or whatever against CPAM is complete and utter, bollocks. Let’s move on to the 2nd point, to see if they have better substantiations for the war.

Trash-talk
RPF stated 2 things that they took issue with in terms of “Trash-talking”:

Part 1: Personal attacks against HCom

Let us dissect the leaked screenshots one by one.

a) The first is former RPF and retired ACP leader Koloway. He is no longer a part of ACP. If you have an issue with Koloway – take it with him, not ACP – if you believe that by association we are guilty, RPF too are by association guilty, for Koloway is ex-RPF staff too.

b) The second is former RPF SaltSlasher (Bschar). He’s a known troll – but that doesn’t excuse his statements. Below is a statement that I sent to the affected alliance leaders.

The fact that RPF themselves never took action against Bschar, especially for inappropriate jokes he made in RPF speaks volumes to the fact that Bschar is not to be taken seriously at the very least; or that because he’s now not associated with RPF, heavens forbid the troll comments he makes.

(This was part of the “leaks”)

c) The third is against an HCom member of RPF, Cosmos. The concerned “trash talk” includes

Which… okay? You can argue that Cosmos is not narcissistic, I guess. As well as me making my classic “bow down to xxx” joke, which I’ve been known to do… everywhere.

Comment made by CSY to Epic.

d) Other involved members include Robot, Chek, Aurora, (Bschar and koloway already mentioned). These were all former RPF soldiers. The fact that no non-former RPF were actually involved in big trash-talking speaks volumes in itself.

Part 2: Raiding Events

3 ACP members logged onto CPR, saw RPF, then dressed up as pizza chefs, ONCE. You make it sound like we spied on you guys, scheduled a raid, formed a whole group to take you down. This was completely spontaneous and hardly a scheduled act of war against the RPF.

In addition, at multiple instances, when RPF have been group recruiting, ACP have left for another room/server to not interfere with RPF out of respect. When Cosmos DM’ed me about an ACP shouting “ACP” in an RPF event, I swiftly handled the situation and ensured it wouldn’t happen again.

Part 3: Allegations on “Creating a Tournament”

Kailey, a supervisor claimed that RPF “created a tournament”. Was this further discussed? Was this brought up with HCom? Was this proposed to CPAM?

The answer to all of the above is “No”. ACP never thought RPF created a tournament. One moderator put it as a conspiracy theory, no one fed into it, no posts were made about it. Am I supposed to censor a random conspiracy theory that everyone knows isn’t true?

Part 4: Hypocrisy

The worst “statements” made to the RPF by actual members of our staff is probably Bschar calling RPF incompetent. Again, ex RPF member calling RPF incompetent. The statements RPF has made against ACP are perhaps even worse, Elmikey, ex RPF commander, wishing death to our entire army:

If you think that isn’t enough, here’s a member of RPF threatening to kill Nick’s friend.

There’s a huge difference between calling someone incompetent in a staff chat and publicly wishing death to another army and their friends in main chat. Why is this okay?

Let’s talk further about the RPF toxicity.

RPF have been coming over to the ACP chat to screenshot our messages, making fun of our members in their main. Whilst I acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of their moderation team to curb it – it shows that the “culture of toxicity” or whatever exists in RPF too. ACP is working on fixing things, just like RPF is.

ACP’s Apology

“The post serves as a method of justifying what was found instead of actively making strides to improve.”

Message to Ulti dated 25th April:

Further proof of messages dated 25th April, with increased moderation of staff chats, staff announcements, and promises of ACP working to rectify the situation.

In case it wasn’t already evident:
During the tournament, a lot of toxicity, foreign relations and hatred towards the community was fostered. We declared independence on April 19th to move away from all of this.

This matter has been addressed by ACP HCom.

Despite being shown evidence of ACP’s attempt to rectify the situation, despite proof that ACP has already had plans in motion to improve the environment, dated as far back as April 19th, RPF still believes that “ACP has made no strives to improve”.

All of this was already shown to Ultipenguinj as early as the 25th of April. This indubitably shows that the declaration of war was NOT because we weren’t taking any action.

Concluding Response to the Declaration of War

The reasons of declaration of war are weak at best, and completely exaggerated at worse. The only valid argument is perhaps the “trash-talk” made against RPF, which were, unfortunately, instigated by ex-RPF. What’s happening there such that their ex members bear so much hatred to somewhere they once called home?

ACP wants to further respond to RPF’s dirty tactics in this “war”.

Invasion Schedule
First, we look at the invasion schedule set by the RPF. This involves 4 invasions, with 2 occuring at 9am EST and two occurring at 9pm EST. This is an overwhelmingly cowardly move – invading two servers at one time? Why won’t the RPF fight us, one server at a time? Or are they just trying to play dirty?
Terms
RPF wants to take the high road in this – but behind the “facade” of righteousness lies their true intentions – to bully a smaller army. Their term prevents ACP from bringing any allies to battle.

RPF maxes 180. ACP maxes 50.

If ACP are as toxic and hate-able as RPF claim, why is this term necessary, given that all armies should righteously flock towards RPF’s support?

The reason is this: They know that ACP is easy picking. They want an easy war, masquerading under pretenses of justice.

Emcee’s Involvement

The next piece of information will be some sad news for many ACP soldiers, but contrary to our former belief, we have reason to believe our former third-in-command, Emcee, was involved in the ACP leak. We are not 100% sure but we have some very strong proof on the matter.

Concluding Remarks
ACP do not believe that, nor do we defend the words said against RPF or HF. We simply believe that it speaks volumes as to how all the anti-RPF sentiments came from ex-RPF staff; staff issues that were NOT addressed until they decided to join ACP.

I have here, compiled why RPF’s reasons of declaration not only fall apart at 2nd glance – but how RPF themselves KNOW that these are not sound reasons.

Firstly, alleged “plot” to take down RPF with CPAM was from someone that wasn’t even CPAM staff, and has already left the CPA community, and CPAM’s public statements of good relations with ACP.

Secondly, the fact that moderation was not taken against community acclaimed “troll” Bschar during his time in RPF, to the interesting observation that the main catalysts of “trash-talking” RPF were by ex RPF soldiers, to the final hypocrisy surrounding public, main RPF members stating their wish to murder people from ACP. At least we kept it in staff chats, you guys have anti-ACP remarks in main that are far more severe than “incompetence”.

Thirdly, allegations that ACP’s post was for damage control are complete lies, given the plethora of evidence I’ve shown of me assuring Ulti that things were being changed, given that as soon as the tournament ended, ACP already tried to take a step in the right direction. RPF knew all of this, yet still tried to declare war.

We must ask now – why is it that RPF declared war? The public image of RPF is a big gaming community for people to have fun. It’s easy to take screenshots out of context and then hate on ACP. The fact that RPF wants ACP, an army that maxes 3x less than them, to show up at 2 places at the same time. The fact that RPF won’t allow ACP to even up the playing field by asking for allies, even though they claim us to be despicable.

This is a classic case of a bully on the playground, trying to pick on someone smaller, and justifying it with a masquerade of “righteousness”. If these were the actual issues, Ulti would have approached us – instead, he ignored all my DMs of me addressing the situation and taking steps to improve.

And yes, call us cowardly. We will defend our capital – but only our capital. Because when a 6th grader threatens to beat a 3rd grader up on the playground, fighting back is not a smart option.

In Response to the Recent "ACP Exposé"

Addressed to the entire CPR community.

This post addresses the recent “ACP Exposé”.

Edit: There seems to be some blogger editing issues –
Please feel free to read the full response on Google Docs instead:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ap62VD3-YMBIX86Ii8bAagsxW-tUCVewAbUhy2SkFeE/edit?usp=sharing

We would like to preface this post with a warning to the community – This could happen to anyone. Most, if not all army discords use bots. ACP is conducting our own investigation that we assure everyone we are taking extremely seriously – there is a possibility though that these weren’t leaked but were indeed “hacked” through the use of bot tokens. Please take the necessary precautions to secure your chats – such as ensuring your discord accounts are safe and making sure the bots invited can be trusted.

I would also like to address the ACP community – online safety is of our #1 concern. Staff chats were leaked, which is not a reason for alarm. No personal DMs or data was breached in the process. ACP will continue making sure the community and discord is safe for all to enjoy.

Now moving on to address the core contents of the exposé.

Part 1: CPAM

The core allegations made against ACP was “size inflation” and “influence over CPAM.

1) Size inflation – all armies inflate their sizes. I don’t want to call out any other armies as I’m sure the
entire community knows it’s happening. Especially with the rogue event trend, there isn’t always a clear
distinction between rogue and actual troops. I try my best to make sure we have a countable max –
any penguin doing the emote + penguins wearing the uniform are counted in our maxes. Screenshots
from a month ago, some from March 1st were taken. CPAM has worked hard to ensure the TT is fair
for everyone, but my apologies if some of our sizes claimed were ‘inflated’.

2) Influence over CPAM – What happened was that in the previous week’s CPAM TT, CPAM CEO Ayan
recounted all of ACP’s pictures, giving us a much lower max, without recounting any of RPF and HF’s.

This was of course brought up in HCom, in which we thought it was unfair that ACP’s were being
recounted and RPF’s weren’t. In addition, we just had a battle with the PZF, in which we believed
we were (unfairly) awarded 2 tactic points, tying with the PZF despite having better tactics and
formations. (Full post: https://www.thearmyofcp.com/2020/04/acp-vs-pzf-battle-in-review_2.html)

Thus, higher command began a discussion about the CPAM bias situation – 2funky3 put it best in
one of the screenshots:

As ACP were being targeted for the “recounting” of our pictures, and due to the fact we felt the tactic
points were poorly given, we felt that CPAM held bias against us. The comments on “RPF would get
away with it” was in reference to the fact that RPF pictures were not recounted but ACP ones were.

In response to the allegations against myself and my involvement with CPAM – I was involved in the
formation and inauguration of CPAM. My statement was in regards to helping them set up in a way
that resembled CPAC, especially in the regard of posting.

Below are 2 CPAM forming groups I was a part of:

I helped extensively in setting up the TT formula:

Mchappy put it best:

Perhaps what I expressed was put in not the most eloquent manner – but then again, I didn’t expect my
HCom chat to be leaked – all I wanted to do was, to a great extent, bring what I learnt from SMAC/CPAC into CPAM and model CPAM after something that has proved to be successful.

(I want to note here that I have since then – again these screenshots were from almost a month ago
– talked to Ayan and he has taken efforts to make the TT fairer for all.)

Part 2: RPF

  1. Trash-talking RPF: We were recently part of CPAM’s Premier League tournament, and our greatest opponents were the RPF. All the “**** RPF” sentiments were part of that – trash-talking or whatnot is quite common – and to hype everything up, we trash-talked the enemy. I’m sure similar sentiments against ACP have occured in RPF chats; I’m sure the rest of the community can sympathize when I say – trashing the enemy is not uncommon when a battle is approaching.

  1. ACP is proud to bring all troops to battle: I think this speaks volumes to what kind of army ACP is. We are proud to bring our entire army to every battle – RPF brought their staff team vs. smaller armies, but ACP’s philosophy was that we should respect the smaller armies and bring our entire force. (RPF has elaborated on their philosophy to me – and I can respect their reasoning). If PZF forfeited, ACP would automatically win, with 3 tactic points – however, we still urged PZF to come because we want to fight the tournament honorably. ACP doesn’t wish for wins to be handed to us. We could have easily taken the auto-win and full tactic points – but instead, we urged Retro to come on, and ended with 2 tactic points instead. (It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Max was joking about the server thing.)

(No servers were offered for them to show up, in case this wasn’t already evident)

Pre-battle tensions and trash-talking is common, regardless of whether it is a tournament or a war. RPF has supported ACP in the earliest days of its revival, even coming to our opening event to show support. We are far from enemies. There is a difference between being enemies, and friendly trash-talking in staff chats, during pre-tournament periods.

Part 3: HF

I want to say that the entire drama surrounding this has been solved. A lot of ACP troops, including mods and hcom suddenly approached me that they had been DM-ed HF invites. I immediately began talking to Moon and Tistle, and the situation was sorted out eventually.

Whilst not everything said was fair to HF – understand that recruiting is hard, and when you feel like you recruit just so someone from another army can DM them and recruit them – that’s annoying, to say the least. That is perhaps where the majority of the mod frustration came from – and you can see from the screenshots I tried my best to appease both sides to solve the situation.

Part 4: Trash-talking taken too far

Where does one draw the line between trash-talking, and what is too far? I would like to point out that, whilst this doesn’t excuse the behavior, the moderator in question has been known to the community as a “troll” – he periodically comes on to talk about bowing down to the Syrian government.

However, that being said, I want to apologize on behalf of my staff team for comments that may have gone over the line, especially ones about murder, that may have offended anyone. Moving forward,| we will do our best to navigate the fine line between “lets kill them in battle” and more extreme comments. Whilst all of this occured in staff chats and definitely not main to prevent fostering of public negative sentiments, be confident this will be addressed by the ACP higher command to ensure that comments made are still appropriate.

Final Thoughts

Whilst I personally feel like there was not much to “expose” about ACP, I do realize that many of the
screenshots look incriminating. I would be happy to discuss any of the above with anyone who is
interested in knowing more about the situation.

In addition – we have no qualms with CPAM, nor is anyone in ACP trying to “influence” CPAM.
One of the reasons we recently went independent was to move away from the drama of the
community as well as the tournament “hostility” built against our opponents. This is something
that was already set in motion by our higher command in hopes to foster a more positive,
ACP-centered community.

I would like to publicly, once again, apologize on behalf of the ACP and our staff team for
comments made and sincerely hopes that the public takes time to read and understand our
side of the story. I welcome any DMs regarding the situation.

Signed,

CSY
