Around this time 735 days ago, I was promoted to Corporal for attending my first ever event.
What I had not known then was that I would go on to attend 312 more events, lead many of them, reach the highest non-leader rank, become inducted as a divisional commander, make so many amazing friends, and most importantly of all, have lots of fun.
My story here began just around 12 hours before that. As many of you may know, I was recruited to ACP by Spin from the Roblox Discord server (and yes, I am a discord recruit).
In this post, I will try to focus on some feelings I have about ACP and the retirement. If you wish to find out more about my journey through ACP, you can read through my speech during my own induction event starting here.
When I first joined ACP, we were the #1 army, and as a troop, I was glad I was being in the best army there was. After losing our #1 rank to the Doritos and fighting to reclaim it until we finally became #1 again at the start of this year, I am once again glad of this fact, but also glad that I helped us (even though not much) to reclaim it.

Putting Top Ten rankings aside, I feel like ACP was the best group I could have ever joined. From the start I felt welcome here and I knew this was the sweetest community I have ever been in. ACP was always here for me, no matter if I had good or bad times, and I could always talk to anyone about anything.
Honestly, I don’t know what would have happened if I joined any other army, but one thing is certain; ACP’s kind environment helped me stay here and make lots of friends here.
And after 2 years of being in ACP, I did make a lot of friends, and had many memories with all of them. And, I might never forget my time in ACP. I will always have memories to cherish, friends to talk to, and so on. As I will still talk in ACP from time to time, I will probably still be making new memories and friends a long time after my retirement. With that said, although my time as a HCOM is over, my story still isn’t.
On the other hand, I feel that I’ve kind of immortalized myself in ACP (saying this is probably a stretch but I couldn’t find a better word). I have the Bronze Medal Award and Dedicated Officer, and my name is therefore engraved in the Hall of Fame. Additionally, I’ve found beauty in the fact that website posts that I wrote will stay on the website forever for people to read (unless they get deleted or something really bad happens, but I hope that won’t happen).
To avoid confusion, this is not a reason for my retirement.
With that said, there are some questions about my retirement unanswered.
Why am I retiring?
There are multiple reasons for this. First of all, I honestly don’t think being HCOM suits me anymore (like personally). I do appreciate a lot of people telling me how good I am doing etc. but I just don’t really think being HCOM is for me anymore. I took some leaves last month, thinking I might be tired, but I felt the same way even after coming back.
Secondly, once again, irl stuff. (E0) I am now way more busy with my school related stuff and trying to fix some things in my irl. Also, I am thinking of getting a part time job someday, so I don’t know if I can have much time for ACP.
Also adding on to this, I have a huge problem in my irl that’s been draining me for a very long time now. I have been thinking whether to mention it here, but I think that it’s better not to as it’s a very personal thing. I am sorry.
Why today, October 18?
I chose this date because it’s kind of a significant day to me in ACP. On October 18, 2024, I attended my first truly large battle, the Major Army Brawl, which was an important three way battle against the Secret Service and the Help Force in the Project Conquest: Blood Bowl tournament, where we managed to win in overtime!
On the same day next year, I led a room in a practice battle against the Romans. What was special was that it was my first battle where I led in vc, something which I have only seen Daniel do before. And this year, well, you know.
What are my next steps after retiring?
I will not leave every single role in ACP, I will still stay as Stamp Guru (though someone else will award stamp clovers) and as SB leader. And of course, I will hop in the main chat from time to time and attend events sometimes 🙂
I will NOT be joining any other army. ACP FOREVER!!!!!

Jokes aside, even if I wasn’t retiring, I simply don’t think I have what it takes to be a leader. It would also be a really huge responsibility, and I don’t think I would be ready to take on that.
Well, that sums up basically everything. I wanna thank everyone who helped me out once again, became friends with me, and especially whoever attended today, as it will be the last event I will lead in a very long time, if ever.

Roxy – Hey Roxy! You are genuinely the most amazing, sweetest, kindest and loveliest leader ever, and you were one of my first friends and besties in acp. From the start you were always super kind to me and always there to help me, and that’s why I chose you as mentor! You were an amazing mentor to me, helping me with everything and anything and I always looked up to you, even when I was HCOM. You always gave me leadership advice and tips how to improve and I will forever be grateful for that. I will also admire how incredibly long you’ve led the army, you were leading for 4 months already when I joined, now I am retiring and you’re still leading, that’s incredible! From Project Conquest to our legendary March Madness and Legends Cup victories, you always helped guide the army to victory! I love you so so so much and I will miss you insanely!
Daniel – Hiiii Daniel! You are the coolest and most awesome leader! Even though I started to know you later than Roxy, I am really glad I could have seen your induction and since then, you’ve contributed so much to our victories! You also helped me with many things, like event posts and leadership related things. Also, it’s so fun when you lead an event lol 😭Aside from that, I also really enjoyed playing pokemon showdown with you and I hope we can play again sometime later. I will miss you and I love you!
Facu – Hola Facu! You have an amazing personality, you are so cool, kind and so fun! Your efforts did wonders for the ACP, helping us to win several tournaments, and you also revived the Legion Espanola and you are a wonderful commander of it! Also I always bothered you with spanish words lol :nowayjose: As I am writing this (Oct 11) I think it’s your 1 year anniversary of becoming active in acp so happy anniversary to this! I will miss you as well! Ilysmmmm
Queen Kay – Hey Queen Bestie Diva Mermaid Bronze Medal Dedicated Officer Field Marshal Kay! You have always been an amazing friend to me and everyone else and you’re insanely sweet! You are always so energetic in chat or during events, and the events you lead are really fun! I also really enjoy talking to you and the vcs we have sometimes (we should vc soon fr). I also appreciate all your efforts in acp and I appreciate whenever you help me with something, just like I got to help you a lot when you were staff in acp. I also really love working with you on stuff! Also, you are really really cool, you are a very cool mermaid and I hope to see more of your mermaiding! I will miss you so muchhh but I hope to still talk with you! I LOVE YOU DIVAAA!
El Nova – Bestie Nova! You are always an amazing person and despite the language barrier, you did so many amazing things in acp, including your contributions to our March Madness win and for the Legion Espanola! You are an amazing HCOM as well and you’re incredibly kind, always telling us to have an amazing week or day! So I hope you have one too 🙂 I will miss you more than you miss me, love youuu!
Nefe – Nefeee! Even though I don’t know you a lot you are an amazing and funny person! I think you are the only person currently in hcom (other than leaders) who were promoted to hcom before me lol 😭I hope things go amazing with you, I will miss you as well and I love you!
Tae – Hiii Taeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelurker! You are incredibly sweet, kind, supportive and lovely all this way more than me and it’s been fun always seeing you always ping the UK commander role for me. You have also been so helpful with everything, and I also enjoyed arguing with you who is sweeter or getting 1k messages from you to force me to ‘admit’ it lol! I love you incredibly and will miss you so much!
Ash – Coffeewolf my coffee bestie! Hiiii, you are an amazing friend to talk to, share coffee pics with or spam each other with cute emotes or blue hearts! It’s also really cool to hang out with you in the coffee shop lollll 😭I am really glad I got to help you so much and I am so sorry I am retiring (insert nuu emotes) I hope you become hcom in my place though! I will miss you and I love you so so much! :cute:
P.S. I wrote this before your promo and you’ve now been promoted, so CONGRATSSSSSSS! I am sure you will do amazing stuff as hcom and I believe in you!
Amelia – AMELIAAAA! I will start off by saying that I miss you really much and I wish there was a way we could still talk, but I understand you’re incredibly busy irl and I hope stuff there is going well. On the other hand, you keep showing your sweetness, like how you set a reminder for my birthday and then wished me a happy birthday despite your busy times, that was wonderful! And not just this time, you have literally been always sweeter than sugar ever since we became friends! You were always so kind and helpful with anything ever since I joined acp, and I was incredibly glad you were one of my first friends in acp. I have seen you get promoted to hcom, then you were promoted all the way to 2ic! Sadly I wasn’t there to see it :nuu: And it was so sad when you retired, although you were advisor for a bit you later left all positions in acp. Although irl is a priority, I still wish we could have talked moree. But when we did talk before that, it was really fun, especially with all the arguing lolll 😭(you aree sweeter and I love you more!!!!!) Once again, I miss you (MORE) and I love you more more and MORE!!!
Tia – Heyyy Tia! I am missing you a lot already as well, because we barely get to talk, but I really hope that we get to talk more and that everything goes well for you! Anyways, you are a really cool and sweet person, and you were an amazing hcom. Once again I wish you good luck with everything and I miss you lots, love you insanely much!
Noa – Noaaa my bestie! Gosh, I have a lot to yap about say. You are really lovely, sweet, wonderful, supportive and fun! You have been helping me ever since I joined acp, and honestly I wish we became officially friends earlier. Your induction to UK commander was the first induction of any kind I’ve ever seen, and you were truly amazing as one. Then, when you retired, it was one of the saddest moments for me in acp. But even after that, you were a huge inspiration for me to become a divisional commander myself, and I am now glad I have gotten to carry the torch after you, and now, I hope to pass it to someone worthy. Anyways, you have been a really cool person to talk to or play games with. It was so cool getting haunted by you to go to sleep (evil snowy didn’t listen), argue who loves the other one more (I love you more) or the vcs we had sometimes! Anyways, I hope everything’s going well with you in FW (noa4fwleader) and although I missed you so much since you retired from acp, I think I’ll miss you so much more now. Misaki – Misakiii! You are really sweet and kind, and I am really proud of what you accomplished in ACP. I remember almost always being the one to promote you, and I was incredibly honored to be your mentor (you were my first ever staff mentee, tysm for choosing me!). I am sorry I abandoned you by retiring :nowayjose: I am so glad you reached HCOM though as that was really deserved, but 9 months later you were the one who retired :nuu: Still you were awarded dedicated officer and that was so deserved for you! Other than that you are our beloved artist and your artwork is sooo cute! Also it’s really fun talking to you or meeting you in chat (and no, I will not go to sleep 🙂 ). Pumpkin – Omg pumpkinyayayyyy! Although you are kind of mysterious you are very cool to talk to, and it’s funny seeing you sleep in VC. (VC sleepover when?) I really admire how you’ve been hcom three times, and every time you did amazing! You are also a really fun person, and you were one of my first friends in acp (and now you are a bestieyayayay), and I remember your event reminders! Also it’s so fun how we call each other lol 😭I love you so so much and I will miss you a lot!
Waddle – Waddleeee my twin! Literally we were twinning with some promos, ROTWs and even going on to match pfps, and I will always cherish all this! Kailey – Hiiiii Kailey! You are an amazing person and when I was new to acp, I honestly confused you with Kailey310 and I am sorry for that 😅 But still I am glad we became friends and you were the first person who I officially became besties with! It’s really sad that we can’t talk more now but I hope stuff is going great for you! Also you were a great hcom and you’re an awesome advisor. I miss you really much and ilysmmmmm!
Chkn – Hiiiii Chkn! You were an amazing help to me ever since I joined acp, helping me with things such as splitscreen, which I will be eternally grateful to you for. Holly – Heyyyy Holly! I think I saw the exact moment you joined acp, I was vc leading an event then lol 😭I am glad though we became friends shortly after and ever since then, you have been truly awesome and sweet! I enjoy talking to you every day and I am glad to play cpj with you or even complete quests with you on there! Ellz – Heyyyy Ellz! You are truly a wonderful mentee and bestie, and even though we haven’t been able to talk much recently, I enjoyed all of our conversations in the past! I love whenever we tease each other over who loves the other one more or who is sweeter (you are sweeter and I love you more) and I also enjoy the vcs we have! You were also a really amazing mentee and I am glad you made it all the way to staff in ACP, and then after you joined WV you became staff there too, I am really proud of you for that! I am sure you are/were a great staff in both armies! I wish we will be able to talk more in the future but for now I wish you good luck with your college, I will miss you and I love you so much!
Mashu – MASHU DAYYYYYY! You are a very kind person and we appreciate your former service as an ACP ausia commander! I think you were also a great hcom in DW, and I hope your retirement is going well! I love doing mashu day in your dms (sob self react) I love you so much, I will miss you and I wish you a happy Mashu Day!
Kimo – Kimooooo! You are a very kind person and really fun to talk to! As staff you were truly amazing and I hope stuff for you goes really well! Ilysmmmm and I will miss you!
Miggie – Hiii Miya! Here’s a message since I haven’t given you one on my last retirement 😭 Even though I don’t know you a lot you are a very sweet and kind person, and it’s really cool to see you in our chat! I wish to get to know you more in the future but for now I will miss you lots and I love you really much!
Jess – Jessie bestieeee! I appreciate the conversations we have almost every day, and I love sharing food with you! You are also so so sweet and kind! I love you so much more and I will also miss you much much more!
Ghostt – Ghosttttt! We have been friends since your time in acp and I appreciate your help back then. I really appreciate how we stayed friends despite our armies’ relationship and I enjoy talking to you and enjoy your yummy pizza! I will miss you and ilysmmmm!
Annie – Heyyy Annie! We haven’t talked in a really long time and I miss you so much but I hope everything is going well for you! You were an amazing friend back when you were in acp, and I remember me hopping into vc with you and you were like ‘oh my god snowy player!’ It’s sad we can’t really talk anymore now, I have been missing you once again but I love youuu!
To the next UK Commander – I have no idea who the next one will be right now, but I am glad I am passing the torch to you and I hope you finally break the UK commander curse :acphehe: Anyways, being a UK commander is a huge responsibility, and you were chosen for this role because it’s believed you’re the one who can take upon it. I believe in you and I am sure you can do amazing in this role.
Para la Legión Española (Muchas gracias Facu por la traducción) – Holaaaaaaa Legión Española! Quería decir que estoy realmente contento de que todos ustedes estén aquí, y que gracias a ustedes, estar en ACP no sea solo para aquellos que puedan hablar inglés, sino que ahora tenemos más culturas dentro de nuestra amada comunidad, y estoy realmente agradecido con ustedes, porque si ustedes no estuvieran, tendríamos muchos menos amigos a los que viéramos aquí todos los días. Realmente le deseo lo mejor a la Legión Española y espero que siga creciendo. Los amo a todos y los voy a extrañar también!
To everyone who I forgot to mention (and for all of ACP in general) – I am terribly sorry to everyone who I have missed, there is just too many people to mention but I did try to include everyone who is currently staff or above. To all of ACP, I would also like to apologize if this made you sad, but we all move on and I was sad as well during Ugly’s and Noa’s retirements. Please spam my dms if you need tissues :nowayjose: Anyways, thank you so so much everyone for making ACP what it is today, a kind and welcoming place for everyone, and for everyone’s kindness. I also wanna give a thank you: To our troops for being the backbone of our army, without which our community wouldn’t likely function. To our moderators, who are in charge of many tasks behind the scenes and what you see every day, and without which the community would be a way less active and lively place. To our Higher Command, who tirelessly plan events and other stuff and carry out most of them, and without whom we wouldn’t have such fun events and would instead have way less thought out stuff. To our Veterans, although no longer being enlisted in the army, have shown an excellent service in the past that will be remembered and I would also like to thank them for their service. And finally, to YOU. Thank you for being an awesome part of the community and for everything you do, even if it might seem insignificant, it’s not and we appreciate you! And if you have any sort of goal in ACP or outside of it, I highly believe you can accomplish it. If you want to be a leader, 50 people have already been one before, so it’s more than probable that if you put in the effort, you will get there someday. Once again, I love you all so much!

Spin, my recruiter – Hiii Spin, I really wanna thank you for recruiting me to the ACP over 2 years ago, I would have never thought that I would stay here for so long, let alone become such a high rank, and I am glad that you’re proud of me. I did accomplish snowy4leader for 10 seconds like two times but other than that, I am sorry but as I mentioned before, I don’t think I could be a commander in chief. Also it wouldn’t be possible to just ‘not retire’, because of what I said earlier in this post. I am sorry for all that, but I am glad you see potential in me. I love you so much and I will miss you!
Breadpan, my mentor – Heyyyyyy! I wanna thank you so so much for mentoring me on the first day that I was in ACP, it helped me so so much for my first battles! Also I am glad we became friends shortly afterwards and I wanna wish you a happy 2 year friendship anniversary! You have been really kind and cool to talk to anytime and even after you left ACP I still wanted to share my progress with you! It’s sad though that I can no longer talk to you so I have missed you but I wish to talk to you again sometime 😭 Ilysmmmmm and I will miss you even more!
