¡Saludos, ACP! Today, I come to you with another guide, and this time, a very unexpected one. New Club Penguin developers have released the Monsters University Party on NewCP, and we scavenged the island for everything you need to know about it. It brings a new minigame and catalog, alongside a couple of new rooms. Small, but exciting! It will run until December 5th, so make sure to grab all the available items before it goes away. Without further ado, I present to you the NewCP Monsters University Party Guide!

How to play the Scare Games
The Scare Games can either be accessed from the catalog on the top right of your screen, or at the Amphitheater accessible from the Campus Quad (Snow Forts).
OR
It is worth noting that just by participating in this minigame, you’ll earn a trophy on December 1st, when the winning fraternity of the Scare Games is revealed. It doesn’t matter which fraternity you’re in to earn the trophy.
Now, how to play? Pretty self-explanatory.
The fraternity you choose doesn’t change the gameplay; it only changes the color of the monster you control to match your fraternity’s.
Objective
Scare the robot kid.
There will be different obstacles at the higher stages you go, which are harder to avoid.
We will leave you to find this out on your own, as it’s part of the fun!
Obstacles: If you hit an obstacle, the timer you have to scare the kid will go down, meaning you’ll have to be quicker. If the kid wakes up by the time running out, you will lose a life.
Indicator: Once you reach the side of the bed (marked with a pressure plate), you will have to press the SPACEBAR once the indicator reaches the green section, which is how you earn the most points. Yellow means fewer points, and red means the least amount. Hitting red won’t make you lose a life, though.
Controls:
⬆️ or SPACEBAR: Jump
⬆️⬆️ or SPACEBAR, SPACEBAR: Double Jump
Holding down ⬆️ or SPACEBAR mid-air: Glide
⬅️➡️: Move left and right
SPACEBAR once on the pressure plate: hit the indicator to pull off the perfect scare!

What do you earn from playing this minigame?
Scare Points
The more you play (and hit the green indicator), the more you earn!
Red = 25 pts.
Yellow = 50 pts.
Green = 75 pts.
You can use these to buy items in the catalog, which we will showcase below.

In this catalog, you can buy items related to the party, alongside another way to earn Scare Points.
Catalog is accessible from the top right of your screen, by clicking this icon:
APPROXIMATE COST FOR THE ENTIRE CATALOG: 7000 PTS.
This number will be accurately updated once all the items are unlocked.
(The lock doesn’t let me see the price for a few items)
Now, what is this different way to earn points?
If you look closely, a lot of items in the catalog have this D key beside them.
Buy them, equip them, and dance near someone (within the scare radius) to scare them and earn points!

You will earn 5 points per scare.
There seems to be a cooldown, though I suspect it is a bug. You can only do it once per room.
