Hello there ACP! Welcome back to yet another edition of the Comrade Clash column, this time featuring two of our active members and beloved artists, Major Thoma and Brigadier General Misaki!
Misaki first joined the army community by joining ACP in March 2025. She’s quickly risen up the ranks, becoming Brigadier General in May of this year. She’s a known person in our community, being a very friendly person as well as being known for her awesome artwork!
On the other hand, Thoma joined ACP at around the same time as Misaki did. He has also risen up the ranks quickly, reaching the rank of Major. You can also see him often in main chat and admire his great artworks in the fan art channel! His hard work paid off, and he has become the Troop of the Month for the month of May, as well as getting the most recent Recruiter of the Week award!
I interviewed the two friends to see who knows each other better! Here are their answers:
How did you first meet each other?
Misaki: We both joined around the same time (hardly few hours gap), so ofc we chatted in main chat and met in-game too
Our first meeting was in ACP
And surprisingly I never saw him before in CPJThoma: Misaki and I joined ACP around the same time during the Puffle Party stamp hunts! So we kinda stuck together as the newbies, and later connected more through both being artists.
What do you like the most about the other person?
Misaki: Thoma is a very helpful, kind and talented person. Our vibes match and I feel comfortable talking to him.
Thoma: Misaki is always bringing good vibes to ACP and putting smiles on people’s faces! She’s become a very good friend who is supportive and someone I can trust.
When have you helped each other the most with something?
Misaki: He’s helped me with many things! Mainly club penguin related stuff (he’s like a walking CPWikipedia) and he listens to my rants about anything and everything
I’ve prob helped him in raising his blood pressureThoma: Well Misaki and I just collaborated to make the ACP pride banner, it felt easy to finish because we kept exchanging back and forth so much, we make a great team!
What was your response to Misaki getting staff/Thoma becoming TOTM?
Misaki: He’s my bestie and I couldn’t be prouder!!!! He truly deserves TOTM! I’m glad his hard work and dedication was recognised and appreciated
Thoma: Misaki easily makes a great member of the staff, so it wasn’t a surprise, but what was surprising is how fast she got up the ranks!! She mustve set an ACP speedrun record haha
You’re both artists, what things do you admire about the other person’s art?
Misaki: I love his artstyle! It feels very free and casual. His expressions in his drawings are honestly so good like, every face has so much personality
Thoma: There’s a lot to admire in Misaki’s art, but the thing that stands out most to me is how she does the coloring, the shading is always really impressive and bold. All the works she’s sent in acp-fan-art is really cool everyone should scroll up and look at it fr!
Also, you both have matching profile pictures right now, how did you come up with puffles as your pfps?
Misaki: Our puffles pfps are part of the ACP pride month banner we both collaborated to make . They’re our own puffles in CPJ (edited)
Thoma: The puffle pfps are from the ACP pride banner, Misaki suggested that our puffles should be on it as a little way to personalise it. The green one is my Mossball, and the black one is Misaki’s puffle Samy.

Tysm Misaki and Thoma for your time!
Just like in the last edition of Comrade Clash, I’ve made them compete in a game, this time it being Card Jitsu in Club Penguin Journey! We played 5 rounds in total, here is how it went:
Round 1: Misaki won
Despite there being no screenshot from the first game, that means sensei won Misaki won the first round!
Round 2: Misaki won
Misaki won the second round as well, which means that Misaki is only one win from winning the competition!
Round 3: Thoma won
However, the third round was won by Thoma. Who knows, he can still turn the cards around…
Round 4: Thoma won
With Thoma winning the fourth round as well, the score is now 2-2. The final round will therefore decide who is the winner of this competition.
Round 5: Thoma won
We sadly have no screenshot from the last game either which means Noa wins because if she looks at the time its close to my bedtime and she will think I stayed up again and she will haunt me everywhere now but Thoma won the last game as well and that means he’s the winner of the Card Jitsu competition!
