BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – Welcome BACK!! In this column of “Pet Peeves”! We interview various people from all around ACP, whether it be troops, staff, hcom, or even legends! Here we ask them about their most relatable or funny irritations that they’ve experienced. Some of you may even be able to relate, and today we have a little special edition! Once again, let’s dive into it!

For our first one, I asked Major General Dizzy, a well-known recruiter in our Recruiting Force. Today i gave her 2 questions, we’ll see how she fares with these questions. Her questions were…

What are some red flags or instant icks you’ve picked up on while recruiting, especially when engaging with new recruits?

How do you usually deal with them once you find out that your recruit did something questionable?

1st:

Usually most of the people I’ve recruited and interacted with are sososo kind like they’re literally so sweet but there’s those couple few that are really odd, some are downright racist and others are inappropriate & weird. ofc when things like this occur i just block them, i dont want those kind of recruits in the army and interacting with our troops.

2nd:

Welll usually I dm them first and have a talk with them, most of the time they stop but if it continuously repeats then I start giving them warnings and eventually mutes. If the warnings and mutes rack up I’d dm an hcom or leader ab it and leave it up to them

Overall, we can see that she cares a lot about the army and hopefully she can also put that same care in her assignments, Thxxxx Dizzy💟💟

What’s your biggest pet peeve when trying to get a new troop to join a battle or event?

What’s the one thing you wish every new troop just understood from the beginning?

1st:

Well, I had a troop once who always said they would attend but they never ended up doing so, even if I myself reminded them that when we were logging on they said ‘I will log on soon’ but they didn’t log on, so I am worried this might happen
But otherwise, I mostly get them to attend if I ask them and they are available, it’s probably just hard to get them to stay in acp for more than a few events
Oh and also one thing, I don’t mind if they don’t want to attend but if they are rude about it then it’s annoying

2nd:

Oh well, that is a hard question, but it’s probably that I wish they understood that their attendance really counts and that there is a difference between us maxing 29 without them and 30 with them

What kind of people do you avoid recruiting because they’re always a pain?

What’s one tool or method everyone seems to love for recruiting, but you secretly hate?

1st:

ok when im discord recruiting I always try to avoid ppl who have a lot of profanity/nsfw in their profiles, they never have anything nice to say let alone will agree to joining, NOR do we want them in our server 🙄 jk but like yeah theyre usually not very nice, & also ppl who have a meme as their profile pic, theyre usually just trolls

2nd:

if u asked me this like a month ago I would’ve said in-game recruting… 😭 I just hated how it relies on ur social skills and knowing how to make good convos, HOWEVER these days i’ve been rlly enjoying it, weirdly I found comfort in the friendships I made in-game, and they extend to not just the purpose of recruiting, like i’ve found value in the ppl i’ve interacted with and I wish I never tried to avoid in-game recruiting LMAO

IM ACTUALLY LAUGHING, btw bro sent me 2 different versions, but I decided to just do the original one. I can tell bro was falling asleep, Thxx Liam 💟💟
