Our featured guest today is none other than our Field General, Pumpkin!! 🎃 Keep reading to find out how her her journey began from Recruit to one of ACP’s top ranks.

Pumpkin is a familiar face who you must have come across in the ACP server due to her active and helpful presence as a vital member of our staff team but do you ever wonder how she became part of the army and landed on her current rank? 😮
Pumpkin joined the Army of Club Penguin on March 1st, 2024 and quickly rose through the ranks to earn the staff title and currently holds the rank of Field General. She has earned herself multiple war medals and even the position of Recruiting Force Supervisor through her dedication and loyalty.

How did you first discover Club Penguin Armies and the Army of Club Penguin?

Okaay so i first discovered club penguin armies wayyy before i joined but i just saw like youtube videos about them back when i was elementary, then one night i got a discord notification asking if i was interested in joining and playing games (it was lia 🦐) and i would feel guilty if i rejected and this is where i ended up at 😭😭

Can you tell us about your army journey so far? What roles and ranks have you held, and how did your path evolve over time?

I joined ACP on March, 1st 2024 at 9:04 pm 😭😭😭, i made an account at 11:00 pm and attended my first event by 3am on March 2nd. OKAY my army journey isn’t really that special i climbed my way through the ranks and then roxy asked me if i wanted to take major test. Before i finished it i got drafted by Ugly to the Staff Team during the WV War like idek which month it was but it was pretty rough since i barely had any knowledge, i climbed my way up to HCOM where i served for 1 month and retired cause of MH problems, i got HCOM again like 2 months later where i served for a little bit longer time before i had to step down again cause of MH problems. What was it like starting out as a troop? What motivated you to stay in ACP and work towards ranking up?

Starting out was honestly kinda hard but rewarding cause every event felt new and interesting, my motivation was probably the people around me specially Hanaa fr, she was basically my 2nd mentor besides Roxy !! Staying in ACP is the least i can do it’s basically where i grew up atp and this is where everyone i care about is at so it’s only natural i stay

What’s been your favorite memory in ACP so far? How would you describe your overall journey in the army?

The EGCP War fr and it’s like a specific memory then uhhh idk too many many memories. If i was to describe my journey then it would be i’d have to say it’s been a fun roller coaster

Were there ever times you felt unmotivated or burned out? How did you overcome those moments?

Yahh specially after i stepped down i felt so tired of it, everything felt so repetitive. I shared my thoughts to people i trusted and they asked me to take a break which i eventually did starting there i realized how important keeping your physical and mental health are cause back then i kinda just didn’t bother to look after myself

How has your experience changed since becoming a staff member? Has it changed the way you view the army and community?

YUPP i agree 😭, i’ve matured a little bit ever since i became staff even tho i’m still a little gremlin sometimes 👹👹. I also learned to take care of myself bettur and improved my social skills alot the army community had its ups and downs but i’m happy with how it is rn

As a Recruiting Force Supervisor, are there any standout moments or stories you’d like to share? Anything you would like to share with troop who are curious about joining RF in the future?

Yahh definitely when i accidentally sent the RF Schedule in Announcements my entire life flashed before my eyes, JOIN RF GUYS YOU WONT REGRET IT FREE CLOVERS, Also for people struggling with RF, get good lol (joke)

Is there anything else you’d like to add? Any final advice for newer members just starting their journey?

Life’s like trying to fix a car that keeps breaking down. No matter how many times you hit a roadblock, keep going. Each time something falls apart, you learn how to put it back together stronger than before
