Army of Club Penguin

Hey everyone! Welcome back to yet another edition of Comrade Clash, a column where we’ll ask two friends questions that might break their friendship to find out how well they know each other! This time we have our beloved Field Marshals, Noa and Sanya!

Noa has joined the army community in 2022, when she joined Secret Service. After its shutdown she moved to the Dark Vikings, but after some time she switched to ACP, where she is now a dedicated HCOM member and a really friendly and sweet person. Due to her hard work, she has earned herself the title of UK Commander!

On the other side, Sanya has been in the army community since 2017, first joining the RPF. Afterwards, he joined ACP in 2020 and although he left a year later, he came back in 2024 and has been a hardworking HCOM member as well! He’s also well know for his food pics!

I asked them both some questions to see who knows the other person better, here’s how it went!

Do you remember how did you meet each other and what was your first impression of each other?

Noa: OH well, this is alr gonna start terrible
Um so basically, our first meeting wasn’t very ideal. I didn’t really know Sanya as he wasn’t enlisted at the time and was impressed by him. I was just scared to interact in general 😭 So when we finally did talk, it went terrible, since I insulted him which caused quite some drama.
I did NOT mean to insult him, but it did strain our relation for a while before we became friends.

Sanya: Our first meeting wasn’t the best, so to speak, but I heard of Noa way back when I was a CPA Moderator. I remember hearing something about a DV staff member named Noa who leaked some information about Dark Vikings and later joined ACP and thought damn DV is a really bad army and she was able to stand up to others and expose the dark side of that army . Although our first impression of each other wasn’t great, we eventually had a proper meeting and developed a much better impression of one another in 2024, when I became more active in ACP under Ugly and Roxy’s leadership. Over time, we ended up becoming best friends cause we found we had alot in common

What are some things you admire about each other?

Noa: Honestly, there’s a lot I admire about him as a person in general. He’s always there to cheer you up, even when he’s in a bad mood. I also admire the fact that he keeps going, even if he’s struggling. There are many more things I admire about him, but these are the main things 😛

Sanya: I admire her fun personality and the way we can relate to each other on so many levels. I love how when we talk to eachother, we can be ourselves, and how we always find a way to have fun in every conversation we have . The fact that she’s one of the few people who can genuinely brighten my day is what makes her so admirable as a bestie and she loves animals like me so

On the other hand, what do you hate the most about each other?

Noa: Oh shit, hate? There’s not really something I HATE about him. However if I had to name something, it’d be holding grudges because of arguments. Everyone argues from time to time tho, so it’s not really a big deal to me.

Sanya: Ooooo, tough question! The thing I hate the most is our time zone difference since we live on opposite sides of the world. I usually end up talking to her late at night, and I’ll admit—I get pretty tired because our conversations sometimes last until 3 am Honestly, she has a much better sleep schedule than I do, so she’s definitely lucky

If you could describe the other person with a single word, what would it be?

Noa: Honesty, since he always tries his best to stay like that.

Sanya: Lovely!

Are there some things that you learned from each other?

Noa: Hmmm, mainly that it’s okay to let your emotions go at times. Oh and that sharing YOUR opinion in important.

Sanya: I’ve learned a lot from her. She’s helped me become a better person and a better friend. I’ve also learned about her country’s culture more and way of life—especially since I’ve visited her country before. Through our conversations, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the Netherlands, which is one of my favorite countries I’ve ever been to and one I’d love to visit again. I also love seeing her pets and farm animals and learning more about them as we’re both animal lovers

Imagine if you were both stuck in a deep forest. What would you two do?

Noa: TURN INTO KATNISS RAHHH. Idk where that came from, butttt, probably set up a camp. If there are spiders I’d kms, Sanya would have to save me

Sanya: I’d have Noa go hunting while I take care of the cooking, and together we’d build a nice shelter. I’d also try to find ways to make contact by starting a large enough flame, creating a large SOS sign, and hoping we eventually get rescued from the island!

And finally, is there anything you’d like to say to our readers?

Noa: Friendships can be found through the most unexpected situations.

To wrap up this interview, we also made them both play Hydro Hopper on Club Penguin Journey. After some time, we had the results! Although Noa had an admirable 1958 points, Sanya has reached a total of 2663 points in single game! Good job to both and congrats to Sanya!

It seems like Noa and Sanya are really close to each other, having probably made lots of fun memories together! But who knows the other person more? (insert E5 emote)
