Hello, people of CP armies. It’s time you found out the truth about me.
My name is Swimmerboy01. I joined Club Penguin Armies in November 2008. What you didn’t know, is how emotionally insecure I often am. I did not want to cheat the Nachos. I never wanted to be hated. I did not even want to bring Funks back at one point. But I had to. Loyalty to the army.
For nearly a month now, I have received so many Private Chats about couping Funks. At one point 2 days ago I nearly did it. I had for a week before now been receiving advise from many people, including Boomer20, Shaboomboom, Reece, Blue1, Blue2, Ganger90, Puck, and Edd. They all were giving advise on what would be best for the ACP, and how to proceed with a possible coup of Funks.
The truth is- I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Funks since I met him was a friendly, and amazing person to know. It would be like Julius Caesar’s murder. It’s not my fault that I had extreme loyalty for my seniors and friends. Before the start of my leadership with Funks I was completely unaware of any hate toward Funks. It was quickly shown that a LOT of people strongly disliked, even hated him.
The hate became so strong eventually that the Nachos declared war. When they did, we were 2nd on the CPAC top ten. What we didn’t expect was in the next day we would go from 2nd to 9th. Even with this destructive drop the Nachos continued the war, but changed their motive to cover themselves up for being at war with a to be completely honest- smaller army. It originally was supposed to be a fun war to prove which army was dominant. It then changed to be a war to remove Funks.
As the war started, the ACP took a string of 4 losses in a row. Even still, we decided to push on and see if we could make a comeback. And we did. But it was ineffective. We fought on, and eventually tied the war at 5-1-5 (according to ACP records). We thought that the war could end in our favor. We were wrong. We won one more battle, and tied one, whilst Nachos one two others. At this point was when the arguments between Funks and I started. Suddenly, after me rage quitting on chat after a battle that Funks and I disagreed about- I decided to come back. Blue1 instantly PCd me with a picture with Funks saying he was going to coup me.
I instantly went onto the site, de-admined Funks, and then Funks called for a meeting. In the meeting I added Funks back to site- not wanting to coup him, and all of the owners talked about ways we can win the war, or finish it. Then came the idea of a fake coup- not my idea (for the sake of the maker of the idea I will not release their name). I was reluctant of the idea, wanting to find another way. But sadly, the Nachos being the belligerent army they are, would only accept a treaty if Funks was gone. I basically had to agree, or another argument would have broken out resulting in me being fired, or the war would continue resulting in our pride and joy ACP falling. Neither of those were options. Having no other choice, I reluctantly with went the vote.
There were two operations:
One: Operation Black Parade- The coup of Funks

- The ACP Leaders, 2ics, and 3ics
- The Nacho Leadership
Two: Operation FF- The fake coup of Funks
People Involved:
- The ACP Leadership, 2ics, 3ics, retired Leaders, and many Officers
Once the operation started and I had reset chat and removed Funks from the site, many people loved ACP, and the war with Nachos ended. I felt happy for once in my leadership here. ACP received requests to ally with armies, such ad Dark Warriors and CPPA. Chat sizes grew like mad. ACP was no longer a pariah. I considered for a while if I should keep Funks out of the leadership and lead on my own for a while to see how it went. But that would be scandalous and un-loyal to the Army. The plan created by the owners was some of the retired legends would end up wanting Funks back and tell me that I would be fired if I did not reinstate him. That plan was shot down when Capncook, another one of the people who were reluctant to the plan, went ahead and leaked information. People were suspicious and questioned me. I asked Funks if perhaps he could stay out of the Leadership, step down, because there was no other good way. He of course did not respond to this idea, and then continued talking about what we should do to fix the plan. Another idea arose- one that the other owners could get mad at me and demand Funks be reinstated or they would quit. Of course, having no other choice, I reluctantly agreed. I knew the plan was doomed from the start, but still went on with the hope that we could succeed. The post was started by Funks, who was added back to the site by a not to be named retired leader. Then, he started a fake post under Foldez’s name. The post stated that the owners were mad, I did not have consent with the coup, and it would be for the best to reinstate Funks. This is where things went wrong.
Capncook, decided in the midst of the chaos to tell the truth. He blew the cover of everyone involved in the stupid plan. The whole plan was a mistake to begin with.
I am terribly sorry, everyone. I’ve wronged so many of you, just for the Army. But when your army that you’ve watched from 2008 has its fate in the hands of a bigger army you have no choice. My arm was twisted into this vile, scandalous, lying plan. You have no clue how sorry and how awful I feel right now. I let so many people down today. And I have already payed for it. None of you may trust me or respect me again, and I deserve it for lying and wronging you.
I am officially reviewing my duties here in the ACP, and considering stepping down. While it is unlikely I will do so yet it is a good time to asses a good person to take my place.
Like I said. I can’t even say with words how sorry I am. I can’t take the guilt. All I ask for is for forgiveness, that the Nachos do not continue the war, and that I have the trust of everyone again, including Funks. It will only lead to more lies, deceit, and trickery. Thats all I have to say. Hopefully 1171 words is enough to repair my wrongs.
