Debates are back, and since we’re nearing the Christmas holidays, I thought we would get in the spirit by having a Christmas tree debate! What tree do you think is better real or artificial?

I think the fake one looks better haha.
Real trees are best I think. The smell good, they look better and it’s fun to go find your own and cut it down at a Christmas tree farm.

i vote fake yeah the fake tree looks better, and the real tree makes a huge mess in the living room dropping pine needles and such everywhere and its not safe for cats or dogs
The fake one is better because it doesn’t shed leaves and the artificial twigs are stronger. But, to be worth arguing about, the real Christmas trees give off the Christmas scent of love and compassionate hearts, so you know it’s real.

I believe fake trees are better because:
1) It is better for the environment to buy/store fake trees than cutting down 100-500 trees by many families in December.
2) They don’t ‘shed’ as much pine needles as a real Christmas tree. Shedding of pine trees can affect pets and cause a great mess. Also, did you know needles are pointy?
3) They are more convenient. This is because they are shaped properly and have more ‘branches’ to hang up more ornaments. Additionally, some countries are too warm to have any pine trees so buying a fake Christmas tree can make a whole family feel better.
Even if the smell of a real Christmas tree is great, fake Christmas trees can always be surrounded by car fresheners that smell like a real pine tree.
Car fresheners, ew?
I mean those ‘little tree’ car fresheners that are kinda cute and they smell like real pine trees.

I like real trees. You get the sweet Christmas smell PLUS its always fun going to pick one out 🙂 All the fake ones are the same, just height differences. Real ones can very in shape,width,and height. Real Trees FTW

And Fyi, Fake ones have chemicals from china in it and are dangerous to be near too long. YAY! I GOT LEAD POISONING FOR CHRISTMAS!
Not to mention the fake trees are not biodegradable and eventually you have to throw them out after they get all old and gross.
That’s not true, my family has used the same fake tree for Christmas for the last 15 years.
Why are we debating about Trees wearing glowing stuff and pooping gifts?

I like fake ones because I am allergic to real ones.
I like both, but fake is better for my family, as last year we had a real one and the pine needles caused my dogs to have super itchy skins and we had to spend a fortune for treatment. But real ones smell fresher and give off a more christmasy feeling, whereas we’ve had our fake one for 10 years and it’s still going strong.
As long as I have massive wood (fake or not fake) in my living room I’m fine.
