Moment Of The Month: September

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

Blizzard, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – The month of September was a wild one for the army with even more changes, awesome events and big moments being had. September was full of surprises but arguably led to some of the biggest moments of the year.

September was the month in which the Army of Club Penguin was originally created. This could only have meant one thing. It was ACP’s anniversary month. However, this wasn’t the only big thing to happen in September. Coming out of a busy August, ACP had to return to normality with no wars or tournaments to battle in. Despite that, it became another busy month with event after event being held. This made the moments of the month even harder to choose. It was so difficult that a top three couldn’t be decided. With that being said what were our top moments? Let’s find out!

#3 ACP Sweeps CPA Summer Awards, ACP Celebrates Calgo’s 1 Year Anniversary and Triumvirate Achieves 5th Number One, Calgo Hits 10.

Written by Coolguy

You heard it here first! There are 3 moments in joint third place for September’s Moment of The Month. First off, the Club Penguin Armies organisation hosted a summer awards event which saw many armies and individuals being nominated for awards for a variety of things, from best army to best judge. ACP/ACP members were nominated for a total of 14 awards and managed to win an astounding 12 of them, sweeping the award ceremony. Our second moment in joint 3rd place is Calgo‘s 1-year anniversary. This was a big occasion for the army and for Calgo as it saw his reign as a leader hit and surpass the one-year mark, allowing us to reminisce and celebrate Calgo’s leadership along with each of the achievements he has had. Finally, the last moment in third place is when the triumvirate achieved their 5th number one on the Top Ten. This was a big thing for the triumvirate as we were further extending our own records but also, Calgo hit his 10th number one, expanding the record for the most Top Ten place finishes in the CPPS era for ACP. These three moments alone are massive achievements for both the army and the leaders, hence why they all made it into the top three at joint third.

2. Battle of The Newspapers: Community Unites & Breaks CPAB Record (123 penguins online)

The Shamrock Bulletin hosted a free-for-all battle against armies and their news media branches to commemorate reaching 10,000 posts on the Army of Club Penguin website in over 15 years. Tuxedo Times, Ocean Oracle, HF Beacon, People Posts, Templars, Elite Guardians, Friendly Gamers, and Club Penguin Armies were among those who took part in the 9-way battle. The event saw 123 users online, breaking the record for the most users online in CPA Battleground. It is to be noted that this event was extremely remarkable for the army community as it occurred during the infamous September Drop.

1. ACP and RPF Announce The Black Clover Alliance

Written by Coolguy:

On September 10th, the Shamrock Bulletin released an announcement regarding ACP’s relations. This announcement saw the introduction of the Black Clover alliance between the Army of Club Penguin and the Rebel Penguin Federation. To celebrate the occasion, before the alliance was made official, the two armies battled it out in a fun practice battle. At the end of the battle, the alliance was made official with both armies celebrating the official alliance being made. It wasn’t the first time that the Rebels and Clovers formed a close bond as Oagalthorp and Commando717, the founders of ACP and RPF respectively, formed close bonds with each other in the past, enabling the armies to grow ever closer. The armies went on to team up in alliance wars multiple times to fend off the opposition, signifying the underlying bond the armies had.

And there we have it. Once again, the Moment of The Month has been chosen (and by a considerable margin). However, for the first time, we witnessed a three-way tie for third place. The amount of incredible moments that ACP had made it even harder for members to choose their top three and this was made clear by the results. Some moments that didn’t make it into the top three but were incredible moments for the army were ACP’s 17th anniversary, the unveiling of the new D.R.A.C.P. flag and even ACP hosting our first event on CPJourney.

There were many moments that will be unforgettable but what was YOUR favourite moment? Let us know in the comments!
