Hi ACP,

“I almost got my brains blasted out the other day but other than that I have nothing to say.“

Okay this was back in October, around Halloween on I think Klondike. I was almost assassinated for the second time. The records have now been declassified. So here’s the story. I was at my cottage one night. Doing the usual Ken stuff like making tea. I usually drink tea without milk or sugar. But I was feeling lucky and I put a sugar cube in this time.  As I reached for my jar of sugar cubes near the window. I saw the glistening of a sniper’s scope. He shot and missed. He blew up my Chinese teapot and my old Victorian style kettle like thing. My windows broke. He missed the first shot by only a few inches and I dove for cover under the cupboards. I grabbed my revolver out and called the ACP Klondike Metropolitan Police. Knowing I was the ACP Leader, they got here in 5 minutes. The assassin had left and on the ground where he was, was this picture of me in his sights. Chilling story eh?

These days have been really quite boring. Not that all of you are boring or that I am getting bored of ACP, but nothing very very exciting is happening, and all the new stuff has already been posted by others. I want to ask you guys what you find exciting and any things you would like me to post about. I am done asking you questions, I already know too much!

I also got a new iTunes gift-card. I am not up to date with any of your hip hop and rap stuff though considering I listen to two to three hundred year old music written by badass European composers. If you would like to make any suggestions on what is “cool” nowadays go ahead.  If there are any people who likes classical music as well, I would appreciate your suggestions immensely. I also listen to the bagpipes believe it or not.

Finally, what do you guys think spying is useful for? What kind’s of things do you think you can learn about the enemy from spying? How important do you think it actually is? How much of an effect does it play in the winning of battles or wars? Do you consider spying fun? This is all in relation with that new CPAC post.

Why hello there!!!

As you all saw last week, I did a SEC (Stew’s Epic Corner) the reason is because I’m getting a little bored with FAT. I mean, it’s the same thing every week. So, I’m giving FAT a break for a while, and when I feel I’m ready to bring FAT back, you may see the following things:

• New Questions
• Another Shot at NSFAT (Not So Famous ACP Troops)
• Return of some of the best people I’ve interviewed
• And More!!!

In other news, im going to make the next episode the “Season 2 premere” Which should be posted 2 weeks from today (today being March 30th, 2012).

If you saw in Asd’s “General assessments” I got a 4. I’m very happy with that, don’t get me wrong, but I really want to get a 5 next time. I know I’m not the most active person on chat, but I can’t stay on chat for 5 hours a day like Flipper. I have school from 8:00 Am to 2:30 Pm. I try to go on chat from 2:50-4:00 and then maybe come back on later in the night. I try to go to every battle I can and try my best to be a “fun” mod, but I’ll kick people, so don’t think I wont kick you just because I can be funny. Anyways, I’m going to ask all of you to comment and tell me what I need to work on to get 3ic back, because after being fired and realizing what it takes, I REALLY want it back. So, if you can tell me what I do wrong, I’ll work on it and try to do better. Thanks.

Hai ACP,

I got bored and I was studying how to pronounce some British places since a lot of them were actually street names in my city. I thought I would like to do a fun kind of post comparing the UK and USA/Canada. Since most of our troops come from those countries and while we have a lot of similarities, we also do have a lot of differences! Being a Canadian, and before today, I never really learned how to say Gloucester, Leicester, Yorkshire and Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch (Welsh town) properly. I am sure many Brits are also fascinated by stuff like why Americans call football, “soccer”. There are lots of differences between American and British English. For example the rank of Lieutenant in the UK is pronounced “Leftenant”. There are some more differences below. The American English will go first and the British English will go second. So here are some differences.

Soccer/Football
Hood/bonnet
Gas station/Petrol station
Apartment/flat
Mashed potato and sausages/Bangers and mash
Truck/Lorry
Realize/Realise (Remember Ek?)
Beating a dead horse/Flogging a dead horse
Math/Maths? (I am not too sure about this one)
Divided Highway/Dual carriageway

The real reason I am learning all this is so I can communicate with Flip and UK troops even more. 😆 You see this is how a conversation in PC between Flip/Ek and I goes.

Example 1

Ken Hey Flip what homework are you doing right now?
Flip: I am doing some Maths.
Ken: Uhh what? O_O I am also doing Math.
Flip: What? Its Maths! Not Math!

Example 2

Ken: Hey Ek did you know that the BBC reported about a snake being on some guy’s hood on his truck?
Ek: Some guy’s what and where? Don’t you mean the bonnet of his lorry?
Ken: Uh sure! Whatever that is (wary)…
Ken: Do you know of that Scottish Chinese girl from Harry Potter?
Ek: Yah, she is from Motherwell, you won’t know where that is (wary)

I asked Ek what was the most irritating thing you ever heard Americans say? And he said

There are many (wary) (Ek if you should like to elaborate please do and edit)

I then asked Foxtails what was the most irritating thing she thinks Brits say.

Oh Flip or Funks if you would like to add under Ek you can! Many all these differences can bring us together. What do you think? What do you find annoying? I know me speaking Canadian English, there is kind of like a mix between British and American English.

Hai der ACP!

With Saturday without an event I quickly rushed to type up this post, wee’ve been mainly focusing on the Champions Cup and because of that we haven’t really given anyone else a chance to lead and shine lately, So I thought it might be time for a uLead session for the members and moderators to get a chance and lead. We know how you feel, when for a long period of time no one but the owners get a chance to lead and keep all the fun to themselves, but this Saturday we’re giving you the fun and the chance to lead. Anyone who wishes to lead will get their chance tomorrow, theres no time limit but only one person at a time will be able to lead.
