Edit: To RBAA, ACP owns both Parka (we invaded it from ST) and Tuxedo (we shared it with RPF, then claimed it ourselves when RPF fell, HSA added it by accident), so if you invade either we have no choice but to defend them from you.  Try reading our Nation page once in a while, it’s not like that information isn’t available, it’s right there.  Not a good start Generation 2… 🙄

I’m going to be really busy for the next week before the Winter Break, so I really needed some extra help not just this week but long-term, so I convinced a veteran to come back as Co-Leader and help us out.  I’ll keep this short, and they can make their post above mine.

BATTLE MOVED TO SNOWFORT SNOWFORTS!!!!!

Reminder to RBAA: You may invade Parka from ST only in accordance with the fact that you would be sharing it with ACP since we are the rightful owners after we invaded it from ST.  Tuxedo (and Brumby) are both ACP servers which Dudex told me he would remove from HSA’s Nation page.  I request that RBAA not invade Tuxedo, and that HSA remove both servers from their list as was agreed a few weeks ago.  We will reclaim any lost servers from this conflict so please don’t make it come to that.

Eli84 has an army “The CP Flame Throwers” and has challenged the ACP to a battle. I think ACP can accommodate him.

We will be meeting in battle Saturday, December 12, 2009 on the server Sleet, snowforts,  at 5pm Eastern, 2pm Pacific time.

This battle will challenge all our resources we can muster. It will be grueling, bloody, hot, cold and possibly smelly. All the things an ACP soldier cherishes most in an battle. So set aside any plans, cancel any movie dates, record the ARMY/NAVY game, set your alarm and be prepared to look the enemy in his penguin face and not blink. Lets make Boomer proud!!!  See ya on the battle field.

Hatt: I sadly can’t make it since I have to help my dad put up the new LCD 47” TV we got from our family. (I think they think we are poor xD).

Oagal: I have a question/suggestion. This is really old, and predates most of your CP existence. But way back when, the former RPF leader (Commando717) and I made an agreement that if the CP staff ever created an army uniform-type line of penguin clothing, the ACP called “dibs” on using it as our uniform.

So I suggest that Sergie suggests that the folks up in America’s Hat (MY phrase, by the way :mrgreen:) create an army uniform/camo clothing and helmet. It can be for a costume in the Theatre or as a way of honoring soldiers around the world (which Disney may or may not support?). Regardless, there will be TONS of new recruits wearing OUR new uniform, and ACP power will shoot through the roof. We wouldn’t double in size. We wouldn’t triple in size. We wouldn’t grow ten-fold. No, there would be dozens of new ACP soldiers and militia in every server of Club Penguin at all times. Will they be hard to control? Yes–impossible to control all at once. But many, many new soldiers will join the ACP, and–with a good patrol–we will at least be able to control a server at a time.

Does this sound power hungry? Probably. But if they make it a production in the theater, they will probably make another uniform for the other side . . . so one other army has the opportunity to rise to the occasion if they so choose. And there will be plenty of wars with unorganized bands of noobs. That’s all the fun of CP warfare–charges, chants, and an endless barrage of snowballs against an unwitting yet strong enemy–without all the politics that prevent such fun.

I think Sergie should make this suggestion.

I got some great news. I and my brother are going to our cousin’s house in Kelowna. Kelowna is a city of Canada just a little north of Seattle where I live. You might know Canada as, “America’s Hat”.

The reason why I am posting this on a CP-based-army-full-of-no-life-people is because the CP business headquarters are located there. Lane Merrifield is said to be there on the same day I will be going to my cousin’s house. Lane Merrifield, for those who are young and never watch the history channel, is BillyBob. Yes, I will be meeting him and asking him about everything.

You guys can help me make a list of questions to ask him. So please comment below and write down a question. After I come back I will post it on the RPF site.

I am not only doing this for the heck of meeting the real BillyBob in real life, but also to ask him why is he making CP Armies suffer in such a way we are today.

Zupp? If you haven’t realized, I’m your new Third in Command. Some might know me from making chat designs, or from the awesome Mr. Bear Stories; some even from when I was a noob. But if you don’t know me, I’m Hattrick. Some call me the Magical Hattman for why I do not know. Others call me Mr. Wolf 😆 for reasons I know why. Well, I guess I should tell some info about myself.

I joined Club Penguin around it’s beta times, I think August 21, 2005. During the early years of fighting, I was in the color wars, and I was the leader of the Purple Army! Soon, through tough times, I later joined ACP on October 3, 2006. All those years of fighting, and I’m still here. Why am I still here? Well, I like to enjoy a game where kids join together as one and work as a team to fight (just like paintball :D). I am known more for my ability to find a solution and tactics, also persuasive essays! I have no enemies, I’m friendly to everyone… almost everyone. If you like more of this astonishing information about me, feel free to chat with me on chat.

As your Third in Command, I promise I will try to do my best in all ways possible with my intelligence and my patience. I can’t promise you I will be just like Boomer, or Oagal, but you might find me quite interesting 😉 or at least okay. I have a huge memory of military tactics, fun-o-rama, and other stuff I’d like to use to help the ACP and its soldiers.

Hey guys, Totaln00b here. I’m skipping my history, just going to thank you’s:

All right, I’ll be on at some battles and stuff, checking on chat, and might rejoin in the future, but for now, good-bye. Until we meet again,

I first heard of ACP from a rogue, waling around and throwing snowballs at robbers and villains. I started doing my own little “JOIN ACP!” thing. Soon, I came across a few actual ACP members in the Dojo, fighting against some Anti-ACP N00Bs. They told me to search ACP, so I did. I found the website, and Shab was leader. Coming up was the Batle Royale for Mammoth, so I hastily posted a join comment and went up for the Battle Royale. I was in at the middle of the battle, but soon had to leave for Tae Kwon Do. When I came back, I found our forces defeated. I went to the pizza parlor with Meat, and we “ordered” a pizza. That’s when I came back to the Snow Forts and attacked in rage. I was submerged in a sea of “ALLIANCE!!!” messages, and logged off. That’s when Shab’s rebellion kicked in, and I decided to join the Loyal ACP, Jedi’s side (Oagal’s disloyal side). It took a week or so for things to calm down, and Boomer was elected leader, making his famous post; “A Dawn of a New Era”. I rose through the ranks as a Sergeant, all the way to a Brigadier General. I then used my Youtube channel, FatmanC4123 to create some pro-ACP and some Anti-Anti-ACP videos during RG’s terror campaign. Everything was going great until when Boomer retired. I then had summer school, afterschool programs, a whole pooload of extracurriculars to keep up with, hindering my army career.Before Boomer retired, I was promoted to a Major General; my peak in ranks. I then became a mod, and Saint became leader. After Boomer retired I was never promoted again, due to inactiveness. Then Saint retired, leaving Dryvit to take leadership, sparking the creation of the NGA. After I spammed the NGA site with comments, I finally succumbed to the longest spell of inactiveness in my career. 3 months inactive, all because of my parents making me take all these tests to get me into a private school. Now that I finally came to my 1 year anniversary in my army career, I realized that the time came for me to retire. I may join up again in the future, and I will pop in on chat as much as I can, attending any battles possible.

I am retiring from the ACP. I might return in the future, but for now I am very busy.
ACP was my first army experience. I fought hard and was loyal. ACP showed me what a real army can do. I have made a lot of friends in this army and met a lot of great people.

Update: I just noticed this clause in Allies and Enemies section:

“If any of our allies are at war, we will do our best to help them, depending on the circumstances. If the war is between two allies, we will try to stop the conflict with diplomacy. If that fails, we will work to help whoever has the greater cause.”

This war is beyond the point where diplomacy will help, meaning if we join the war, then to be true to what is written, we must support the allies with the greater cause.  To me, this means help the side who was attacked first, which noting Icey’s declaration of war means we should be supporting the Orange Alliance, assuming we enter the war, in order to fulfill this clause.

Update: After 400 votes, there was only a 4 vote difference so I’m going to say neither side had enough of a majority for it to be a convincing reason to choose either side:

I stand by my initial statement that ACP will remain neutral in this war, however I would like to inform all of you the pros and cons of supporting each side in case we are forced to make a decision.  You never know, we could be the U.S. in WWII, who entered the war late, but made the difference.  We shall see.

Supporting IW, UMA

Pros

• IW is our closest ally
• They have helped us in the past
• This side probably needs our help more
• Would balance the sides better than if we joined the Orange Alliance
• We would be fighting alongside the 2nd largest army as opposed to against them

Cons

• We would be fighting against 3 of our allies (WW, GW, HSA)
• We would be fighting a total of 6 armies
• Would leave us more susceptible to invasions because of the number of enemies
• We would be supporting an army whose behavior we should not be tolerating
• It would damage our alliances in the long run
• We could possibly make the invading side significantly stronger, potentially ending the war

Supporting the Orange Alliance

Pros

• Would be defending 6 armies from an unfair invasion
• Would be helping 3 allies instead of just 1
• We would be giving the Orange Alliance the significant advantage towards us being on the winning side
• Would strengthen alliances with many armies while hurting few
• Could give us the opportunity to get new servers
• Could potentially save more servers from being lost

Cons

• Would be going against IW, our best ally
• Would make the Orange Alliance significantly stronger and make the war unbalanced
• Could cause the war to end sooner
• Would could damage to the ACP/IW alliance

YES MY NEW GAME SHOW! No, not really just a few tips for you guys.

I’ve seen a lot of leading from many soldiers, from Generals to Warrant Officers, Mods to Members, but not many of them know how to tell the soldiers and sometimes show them what to do. Lead them I guess.

Tip 1: Try saying things on CP AND on ACP Chat – This gets the word out to everyone, letting them know what’s happening if they’re not on chat at that moment.

Tip 2: Know how to count – Yes Kindergarten was a very important time, use that knowledge to count down a Charge, or Recruitment.

Tip 3: Repeat yourself – Yes it’s annoying sometimes, but the more you say something the more likely people will see what you said and follow.

Tip 4: Use visual representations – Move your penguin around on CP to show how it’s done. Example: Move back and forth for where you want your line to be.

Tip 5: Always be positive – Soldiers like nice people, when they get yelled at they tend to not like you or follow your orders (which is bad 😉 ).

Remember these are just tips, you don’t have to adopt it as your new Bible, or Torah, or whatever 😀 .

How to Add and Use the Cursors

When you Finished Downloading the Cursors,you only need to set them and Ta-da! You can use them! Here’s a step by step

1. Download the Cursor/s you want
2. Go to “Control Panel” on your computer
3. Open up the Mouse Setup on Control Panel
4. Now that you are there,select the wished Cursor to substitute for the Christmas one

For example,to change the Normal Select Cursor,click on it,then click “Browse” and go the the Folder where you donwloaded the Cursor. Once you selectd it,click Apply and you’re done!!!!!
