¡Saludos, ACP! Summer is about to close, and Club Penguin Journey has released the Summer Splashdown to celebrate the season’s end! There are free items to grab, a new catalog with items to buy, and many new rooms and party quests! Not only that, a mascot will be visiting the island throughout the party… Keep reading down below to find out about all the new features!
This party will run until August 24th, ending with the weekly Monday update on Club Penguin Journey, so make sure you collect everything before then!

Wear this apron, and serve or order 25 ice cream at the Forest to earn the Golden Ice Cream!

Travel Brochure Party Catalog
There’s a new small catalog, the Travel Brochure, added for the party. It has a set of new items for everyone to buy!
You can access it from the top right of your screen.

Party Quests Guide
This party comes with a new set of quests which you can complete to earn an exclusive background and gems.
Reminder that gems are used to buy items from Captain Crimson whenever he comes around, so make sure to complete the quests to gather as many as you can.
You can access the Party Quests by clicking the button highlighted in red below.
CANNONBALLLL!!!: Get launched by the Whale
Head to the Iceberg, then go to the left to enter the Whale. Inside the room, stand on the whale’s blowhole and let it launch you into the sky!
Frosty Treats to Beat the Heat: Serve ice cream to 5 penguins at the Forest
Wear the Ice Cream Apron that you got from the Free Items section at the Forest, and serve ice cream.
While you wear the apron, penguins will order by doing ice cream emoticons. Grab the ice cream from the stand and take it to the customer. Serve ice cream to 5 unique penguins.
Note: You can earn coins with this job, just like any other!
Lazy Lounging Langour: Complete a full lap of the lazy river while wearing a floatie
For this quest, wear ONLY a floatie. We recommend buying the least expensive one from the Travel Brochure catalog: Mallard Duck Floatie. It costs 300 coins.
The lazy river is located between Ski Village, Beach, and Dock.
Once in either of these rooms, sit on the water and wait 4 seconds to start floating. Go through a full lap to complete the quest.
Southern Shoutout: “Chill” out in the Ski Lodge
Go to the Ski Lodge or the Lodge Attic. Use the Freezing Emoticon to complete the quest.
Prime Real Estate: Like 5 Beach Location igloos
Go to 5 igloos that have either of these locations below and like them on the top right.
Click on the Like button on the top right to like an igloo.
Partying Rain or Shine: Activate the Rainmaker 3000
Go to the Gift Shop and click on the power button of the RAINMAKER 3000 to activate it and complete the quest.
Is this Card Jitsu Water…?: Win a round of Card-Jitsu in the Dojo
Go to the Dojo and play a match of Card Jitsu. Win just like Daniel20448 in the image below.
Perfect Parlor Performance: Play with a full band at the Pizza Parlor
Just like the Play It Loud! stamp at the Lighthouse, bring over a band and play with multiple instruments held by different penguins at the Pizza Parlor.
You need a penguin to play at least one from the list below. An instrument from each one can be acquired from the Music Catalog at the Lighthouse.
- Electric/bass guitar
- String instrument
- Electronic instrument
- Tuba
- Horn instrument
- Percussion
All 6 types of instruments can be bought at all times from the Lighthouse.
To clarify again, you only need to be playing a unique instrument alongside 5 other penguins, each holding a different instrument, at the Pizza Parlor.
Steadfast Spiller: Get the big bucket to tip at the Mine Shack
Go to the Mine Shack and throw snowballs into the watering system until it starts filling up the bucket. Make sure no snowballs are thrown into it for ~30 seconds, and it’ll tip over, completing the quest.
Overcapacity: Ride the Lighthouse Slide with 10 penguins at once
Go to the Beacon, and go down the slide with 9 other penguins at the same time. Once you hit the bottom, you’ll complete the quest.
Note: there’s the possibility that it won’t notify you once you earn it.
Splash Showdown: Hit 25 different penguins with water balloons
This quest is really self-explanatory, but we recommend going to the Welcome Room on Blizzard and snowballing EVERYONE.
The Legendary Golden Ice Cream: Find the Golden Ice Cream. Tip: Don’t overthink it!
This quest is the opposite of the Frosty Treats to Beat the Heat quest. Go to the Forest, and order or serve 25 ice creams to complete it, and earn a free item!
Thrill Seeker Completionist: Ride down every slide on the island
There are many slides scattered across the island. You have to ride some (not all of them) to complete this quest. Here’s a list of which rooms they’re located in, and how many:
- The Lookout: 2
- Town: 1
- Book Room: 1
- Beacon: 1
- Ski Hill: 1
- Lodge Attic: 1
- Pizza Parlor: 1
- Forest: 1
- Note: You don’t need to slide down the Dance Club or the EPF Command Room ones.
