Penguin Vogue with Rarity New

Hi everypenguin! Welcome back to another edition of our Penguin Vogue column, where today we are joined by the lovely co-ordinator Rarity! Their many ethereal outfits have sent ripples through the army, making her quite a fashion icon. I had the honour of interviewing them and finding the source of their designs! Keep reading on for a special surprise later on…

Interview with Rarity

Hi Rarity! I’d love to do an interview with you on your CPAB outfit! I think it’s totally awesome!

Rarity: Sure I would love to help you with that and I’m honoured u chose me. Aww thanks, I try to use my penguin to express myself in a way I can’t in real life.

I totally support that. Talk me through your outfit!

Rarity: Well I like to use my outfit based on what type of event we are doing but my default is an expression of my interests. I use a lot of items that are reminiscent of Disney Princesses and fairytales, but I always try to stay with the green color as I love my acp family.

Awww, so what sparked your love for fairytales?

Rarity: Well I have been a Disney fan since birth as a Disney local and also as I am autistic it grew into a huge special interest. Fairytales outside of Disney grew as I researched Disney origins and the interest of both merged into a love of Disney fairytales.

What would you say is your favourite outfit so far?

Rarity: Probably this one. I love fairies and I like that this one made me look like an acp fairy

You so do! Let’s delve into the outfit details then, starting with your hair: The Elfin

Rarity: So the hair is called The Elfin and true to its name gives the appearance of an elfin princess and I love this hair for the ears cuz this is the only way to get the elf ear look in club penguin. also really love the crown and when it comes to the color of my penguin’s hair, I try to match it to my own irl

I can tell how much thought and detail you put into this outfit! Talk to me about your wings now – Green Butterfly Wings!

Rarity: So I tend to switch between a few different wings but I like the green butterfly wings because of the green gradient on the wings showcasing the different color of ranks we have in acp

And finally, your dress – Emerald Princess Gown!

Rarity: So my dress ties in with the hairstyle as it goes with the elfin princess style. I love the blend of both the light and dark green on the dress and it looks so whimsical. It also looks great paired with our dark green color that our army wears and the light green reminds me of the color of our coordinator rank

Woah, thank you so much for gracing me with these wonderful answers! Anything you’d like to say to our adoring ACP members?

Rarity: Well I’d like to say that we need to allow customization in our uniforms because it helps people not only express themselves but if they have a hard time knowing where they are in an event, it helps them to stand out a bit so they can know that they are participating. Everyone should be allowed to look how they want just make sure that u are staying with the theme and the color of your army. We used to be allowed to customize in battles but the rule was that you had to stay with the color of your army. I’m gonna be honest here and say that I understand the importance of a uniform for us to be unified but we should be allowed to customize the hair and accessories at least

We thank Rarity for their amazing responses. I can see how much love and care they put into their army, both through their outfits and for what they do! Make sure to compliment their outfits if you see them roaming about in Club Penguin!
