September was an incredible month, to say the least. When the community expects a drop, commonly known as the September Drop, the Army of Club Penguin somehow always manages to overcome it. This time around, it was no exception. We held many events which led up to our anniversary: a week commemorating our revival & our past allies, a week with a Civil War erupting, a week looking back into the old practices of our army, and finally, anniversary week. During our anniversary event, we achieved our highest max in 4 years, something to be proud of. All of this couldn’t have been done without the help of many people, and one of these individuals stood out to us in particular. Please join me in congratulating…

Virus joined our army in October 11th of last year (almost one year ago!). He’s always been present and down to help us out in events, showcasing his loyalty. Recently, though, his activity has massively spiked. Earning Recruiter of the Week twice, helping out with our Club Penguin guides, maintaining a great activity in main chat, while also being a major player in the Alpha‘s stomping victory over Echo during the Civil War throughout the past month, he has proven that this award is well deserved. Interview with Virus

Good morning, Virus! How’s it going? May you please introduce yourself to our readers?

Hi, my penguin name is “Pingu Dei” but I usually go around by the name “Virus”. I’ve joined ACP not too long ago, pretty much a year ago.

How, who, when and where did you find the Army of Club Penguin?

I was playing New Club Penguin a year ago and got a dm on discord from someone named “Gracie”. At first I didn’t really know what it was all about but soon I found out and it was great ever since

What is your favorite aspect about ACP?

I think my favorite part about ACP is how tight the community is. It’s a nice place to be, especially since it’s based on Club Penguin and we all share the love for it. It would also definitely be the events I love every single one.

When did you start playing Club Penguin, and what do you enjoy the most about it?

I started playing Club Penguin at a very young age. My sister introduced me to the game somewhere late 2006 maybe but I’m not sure. I was VERY young, I couldn’t play by myself so I mostly played with my sister (Yoyoclub). Since then my Penguin name has forever been Pingu Dei. At the time Club Penguin was my first game so for me it was a completly new experience. I liked the creativty and the social part and it taught me english. I played all the way until the new era of club penguin in 2013-2014.

Have you always enjoyed making guides or working on wiki pages to help out the community?

It’s a pleasure doing wiki pages for communities but I’ve only been doing it since November last year for a CPPS server. I just like documenting stuff, things that will forever be there and you can always go back and see them.

Now, we all must know, especially me as your rival, how did you get so good at minigames!?

I don’t necessarily think I’m good at minigames. Since Club Penguin appeared on Miniclip I was playing a lot of other games which now I miss dearly, so in a way, I probably only got experience but I don’t see myself as good.

A little birdy told me you like Formula 1! How did this love start, and who’s your favorite driver?

Initially I started watching F1 when I was young maybe around 5-6 years old at the end of the 2000s. My dad was an avid fan of Schumi (Michael Schumacher) and used to watch him before I was born. Sadly I didn’t get to see him in his Ferrari glory days. My favorite driver at the moment is Max Verstappen but I also like Fernando Alonso a lot since he represents the old generation of drivers, one of the best in my opinion.

Is it true that you want a ‘Wordle Expert’ role? Why is this?

The only reason I want the “Wordle Expert” role is to annoy Roxy.

Does pineapple go on pizza? Why or why not?

No please keep pinapple away from pizza, mama mia you’re ruining it. In all fairness, I enjoy the traditional Pizza Napolitana, I never tried pineapple on it so I don’t know what it’s like on pizza.

Do you plan on getting moderator soon? 👀

I’d be happy to, but I need to prove I’m worthy of such a role and do my part but sure, why not?

I’m sorry for the long yap but this was really enjoyable, it is an honor to become Troop of the Month and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for your hospitality <3.
