Alu Promoted To PIC Leader-In-Training

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

Blizzard, Shamrock Bulletin HQ – Alu, ex-ACP High Commanding member, recently gained promotion in the People’s Imperial Confederation army. The promotion saw them achieve the role of Leader-In-Training, taking them one step closer to becoming a leader in the army.

Alu first joined the Club Penguin army community in December 2019. He was recruited off of Club Penguin Online by the Templars of Club Penguin. At the time, he went by the name of Alucard. This was just the start of what would be an eventful journey for Alu. His history in the Templars is lost in time, however, he did witness the Templars move back to the Club Penguin Online Army League.

Within three months, Alu moved to another army. This time, he would join the Ice Warriors as they aimed to expand their ranks, once more. He was able to obtain the rank of staff within the army and worked hard in to try and push through each barrier between the ranks. During his time in the army, he helped IW to lift the March Madness trophy in 2020, the notorious Doritos vs IW/ NDA vs IW, the retirement of many legendary members like Regan, Agent11, and Madhav, a war with the Pirates, which later turned into a new alliance between the two, and much more.

His time in the army led to him rising to Lieutenant General within the army (high staff), however, he retired from armies in August 2021. Luckily, he was able to witness and be a part of IW’s second March Madness win in a row before leaving. He was just one part of IW’s golden generation.

Despite retiring from the community, he rejoined the Templars soon after, enlisting as a high-commanding member. However, much like his previous run in the Templars, this was short-lived. He left the army just two months later to lead the Dark Vikings. This, at the time, was a Templars colony. Once more, the short-term Templar association would strike again. Alucard retired from DV just one month after stepping up to lead. This, arguably, led to the army shutting down in December 2021.

Alucard, once again, found himself in the ranks of Ice Warriors in February 2022, earning a place in its high command just six months later. Despite his high commanding position and him witnessing their threepeat of March Madness wins, the Dark Vikings called to him, once again. The army got accepted as an official army, once again, in October 2022 and maxed 14 at their opening event

He was able to help the Vikings rise to 6th position in the Top Tens before leaving on November 2nd. This was just under a month since he helped revive the army.

Once again, he stated he had no plans to come back to the community, however, he then joined the Army of Club Penguin shortly after, becoming UK division commander in December and a general within the army. Whilst his time in the army was successful, it would only last four months as he was removed for his behavior whilst being in the army.

With new goals set for himself, Alu set his sights on the People’s Imperial Confederation, joining as a 2ic in May. In under a month, he has been able to earn himself Leader-in-Training. Could we soon see Alu become a leader?

The Shamrock Bulletin interviewed Alu to find out more about his plans for the future.

Upon joining PIC, what were your expectations/goals and how have they changed over time?

I joined PIC to start a new chapter in my CPA career and it’s been incredible, my initial goals were just to have fun and make friends and I’ve already done that, I never expected that I would be promoted to Leader In Training this fast but I feel very honoured to be the first to hold this rank since Ferd’s promotion to Leader back in March. I would say my goals now are just to keep doing what I love in a community that’s very welcoming and friendly.

With PIC officially being out of war, what are your plans moving forward?

My plans moving forwards are to focus on making the army better and stronger in preparation for Legends Cup.

Do you have any favourite moments in PIC thus far?

My favourite moments in PIC so far would definitely have to be during World War IX, our final defence of Beanie, it was a great experience and I would relive it all over again if I could.

Do you think that PIC has benefited from the war, internally?

I would say so yes, we’ve grown closer as a team and I’m sure that the long lasting effects of World War IX will have a postitive impact overall.

You’ve been in many armies during your 4-year tenure in the community, how does PIC compare to these armies?

Every other I’ve enlisted in up until have been Major armies so it’s a nice breath of fresh air to finally be getting involved more with the S/M community. I’m so glad I chose to join PIC as they’ve already given me some of the best experiences I’ve had in armies with World War IX and the Bloodbath Barrage.

What would be your advice for members of the community who are starting out on their journey?

I would say to just have a good time and remember this is just a game :PICdab:

It seems like the war benefited PIC, internally, leaving a mark on both Alu and the army. With no war in sight, could we see Alu grow even more within the army? Recently, we saw Napalm Corps merge into PIC so will we see the rise of PIC? Only time will tell. We wish Alu and the Confederation the best of luck.
