Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin
Blizzard, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – The same day World War IX started, Water Vikings promoted all their Leaders in Training to the role of Leader. Today we will be looking into the story of the Leader in Training, Mogi4.
Mogi joined the community on the 19th of June 2021, joining the Ice Warriors. He would then stay in the Ice Warriors and work his way up the ranks until he became a Leader in Training. He was a part of the Ice Warriors generation, witnessing the three-peat of March Madness Trophies, a countless number of wars, retirements, inductions, and much more, before the Ice Warriors closed on the 13th of March 2023.
He did, however, return, temporarily, to celebrate the Ice Warriors’ 16th anniversary event with them, as shown below.
After his time in the Ice Warriors had come to an end, Mogi decided upon a new path. This time, he decided to move to the Warriors’ allies, the Water Vikings. Even before the Vikings revived, earlier in the year, the two armies had a strong alliance with good relations inside and outside of the armies. This, no doubt, enabled Mogi to create strong bonds within the army and helped make his next step a bit easier to make.
World War IX started on June 2nd, with the Blue Sunset Alliance (Water Vikings, Elite Guardians, and Rebel Penguin Federation) declaring war on the Army of Club Penguin. This led to the Sapphire Concordat Alliance (Special Weapons And Tactics, Templars of Club Penguin, People’s Imperial Confederation, and Napalm Corps) declaring war on the Blue Sunset Alliance.
Mogi’s promotion to leader was announced alongside the declaration of war. This promotion came with an announcement that all Leaders in Training would be promoted to Leader for the duration of the war before being demoted back to their original roles. However, even with this, they would be able to prove themselves as a leader. This will help their claim for leadership in the future. With the war being over, have the LITs done enough to prove themselves? How was this experience for Mogi?
The Shamrock Bulletin reached out to Mogi4 to get his perspective on this leadership change as well as Dino on the decision.
What was your reaction to becoming a leader?
I was really happy to finally become an army leader even though it was temporary, and I was excited to gain some experience in wars.
Do you believe you were ready to become leader at that point in time?
I believe I had a lot of previous experience from being a leader in training in IW and in WV too, and I think I was fully ready to be a leader.
Did this boost your motivation in trying to become a leader in the future?
Yep it boosted my motivation because I finally got to feel a taste of what being a leader is like and it just made me want to be leader even more.
How was your experience in leading Water Vikings?
My experience was great. I got to learn a bunch of stuff and how to win a war and I gained a lot of experience in being a war leader. It was fun while it lasted lol.
As we can see, this short stint of leading gave him the motivation to continue on his path to becoming a leader in the future. Undoubtedly, it would have an impact on all of the LITs that were promoted. He, among the four other leaders, showed their quality during their temporary tenure. With the Water Vikings continuing to rise and consistently taking 1st place, the future looks bright for the Vikings.
The Shamrock Bulletin also reached out to Water Vikings leader Dino to get their perspective on why the leadership changes took place.
What was the reasoning behind promoting Mogi4?
The reasoning behind promoting the four leader-in-trainings was to give them room to grow as event leaders and rack up some experience. It was in no way solely intended for Mogi, and in-fact I was quite impressed by Claire, Jojo, and Crazyflame as well. Don’t like how it is viewed as only a bonus for Mogi since his other three contemporaries equally stepped up for the same reason.
Do you think that promoting Mogi and the other Leaders in Training during the war paid off?
Yes. I was able to get a better picture of any flaws my LiTs might’ve had prior and address them. Claire and Jojo especially shined as leaders.
What are the next steps for the Water Vikings?
Continue what we were doing prior to the world war.
As we can see from both Mogi and Dino, the promotion to leader for the war gave Mogi and the other Leaders in Training a taste of leading. Much like Dino said, Claire, Jojoteri and Crazyflame must also be given props as they were all in the limelight alongside Mogi, it was a one-man job. They all helped lead WV to gaining their number one place in the top tens and gaining experience as leaders in the army. However, which of these 4, if any, will be the next WV leader? Who proved themselves the most? Will we see a change in the leadership anytime soon?
What do YOU think? How do you think the Leaders in Training performed? Is there anything you would critique? Let us know YOUR thoughts in the comments below!
