Staff Scrutiny with Sanya

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – Welcome back to Staff Scrutiny, where Commander-in-Chief Max will be grilling some of our brightest and very best staff members for satirical purposes only, of course! Keep reading to see how Supervisor Sanya faired.

What’s the best thing about being in the ACP?

The best thing about being in ACP is being in an environment where you get to learn on how to become a better person. You get to be more open on what’s right or wrong or on other peoples different perception on daily things. Being in ACP taught me that there’s always something new to learn by our daily conversations with our community members or our staff members. I also appreciate that the ACP has always been a community where we welcomed members of LGBTQ and we accepted everyone despite their race, religion or sexual orientation. I have come from a country where it is very common to discriminate against those people and it make’s me very upset seeing it and I often get angry at people who do those things like EG (my classmates) . I truly believe the best thing about ACP is the fact we built a community that we learned on how to accept one another another despite all of our differences because in the end of the day we’re all people.

What’s the most challenging thing you’ve had to overcome as a Supervisor?

The most challenging part of being a supervisor is being able to take part in a role where it’s mostly associated with just clovers. I wanted to step in and make a change to that role the most challenging part is finding my footstep in my new role cause I was still exploring multiple possibilities and what would my mods and community think of me? Would they just see me as another mod? or would they just see me as a person who just does clovers? Of course, the moment when CSY promoted me to Supervisor I had to find what exactly do I need to do. So right there I decided to revamp the entire ACP ranks page and create a much better and much faster promotion system where members could get promotions in mere seconds rather than wait for long weeks like before and I also helped out giving advice to my higher command on certain things about ACP and be a much bigger figure to our mod team. So if you ask me what was the most challenging part? is completely changing the entire structure of a rank where it’s not that known and finally finding my place in the rankings of ACP.

If another army leader tried to hire you, how would you deal with the situation?

I would say that I’m not interested in joining your army and I would immediately report it to the ACP leaders

How do you deal with issues that arise while you’re undertaking your role as a staff member?

Hm, that’s a great question! I would deal with the issues by talking to them in DM’s and seeing each others side and try to find a resolution to that said issues. I have always wanted to be a supervisor that was kind and forgiving and I still want to keep ACP’s philosophy of peace and forgiveness

Have you ever come close to leaving the ACP? What stopped you?

Omg so here’s the tea. There were a few instances as me as a mod where I would leave the ACP server because there were certain people that I couldn’t get along with and I would have beef with them and fights cause they would say stuff to me. I was so close to leaving ACP forever and go on with my life but I was stopped when HCOM asked me to stay and i was reminded on how much I loved ACP since it’s one of my biggest impacts in my life and I was able to rank up to be a supervisor and ever since then I haven’t went back to my stage of leaving the ACP server every few weeks.

If you could change one thing about the ACP, what would it be and why?

I wouldn’t change that much to be honest. But I would love for ACP to do mega events where it would revolve around a 1 week hype where we wear a themed costume and we have nitro giveaways then in the end of the event we all have a cute swimming party at my iggy and have fun in main chat by being able to interact with our newer recruits due to our fun big event so they would be interested in our community even more.

Thank you so much for taking part in the Staff Scrutiny column and for your great answers!
