ACP’s First Clover Classic and Clover Circuit

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – PoG Mchappy had one day decided that was he was going to ask Advisor Koloway to host a Smash Tournament and me, Pungu, to host a Mario Kart tournament. Who won?

April 5th: Clover Classic

This event was set on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch. The tournament rules were the average rules a Super Smash Bros. Tournament would use. As I don’t play Smash, I don’t have a lot to say about the actual event. However, many people from the Pizza Federation, ACP’s close allies, showed up, as we know they are very Pro Gamers.

In the finals, Bolio went against our own Advisor, Koloway. Both players are known for being good at the game, however, Koloway came out on top, winning the champion role. The irony of the situation is that Koloway played as Little Mac, known to be the worst character in the game.

Many of the participants enjoyed the event, and I remember the chat zooming by as winners were announced. There will be almost for sure another Clover Classic in the future!

April 6th: Clover Circuit

Clover Circuit happened a day later, with fourteen signups. The rules were a general Mario Kart 8 Tournament, with an engine class of 150cc, with all vehicles. The event ran smoothly for the most part with only minor technical difficulties in the middle.

The first bracket consisted of Pungu, Steax, and Stevos, with another person who ended up not coming. In another lobby were Takoz, Quinn, Mchappy, and Sirplus. Of these people, Pungu, Stevos, Sirplus, and Takoz advanced in the tournament. The second bracket saw Supervisor Kailey, Pungu, and Stevos race, and the other lobby had Takoz, Bolio and Sirplus. From this round, Pungu, Stevos, Bolio, and Sirplus advanced to the semi finals, which was a round met with slight technical difficulty. Past that, Stevos and Pungu advanced to the final round, the one that would determine the winner of the Champion Role. After a quick but tough four races, Pungu was determined the winner, winning the champion role and a whole lot of clout.

Taking the win

Clover Circuit was a very fun event to host, and I hope we’re able to hold more events like it in the future. In fact, keep an eye out for some changes involving Esports and Gaming. Big things might be coming, or so we’ve been told!
