BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – Today the Army of CP soldiers march onto the slopes of Ascent to battle their long-time enemy, the Recon Federation. But what exactly happened in the past between these two powers? What was the road leading to today’s Battle of No Return?

The War of No Return was the very first war the Army of CP entered following their reopening on September 29th, 2019. It began a historic rivalry between the two armies that continues until this very day, and was kick started on October 13th when leader Prior Bumble issued an invasion of the ACP’s only server, Breeze. Commander-in-Chief Chainpro was quick to retaliate with a declaration of war that stated a great war between the two was to occur. To this day, the ACP-RFCP war remains the largest CPPS war in ACP history as it spanned a total of 17 battles over seven days. The ACP were victorious, winning 12 of the battles, losing 2 and drawing in 3. The back-to-back battles were too much for the RFCP to handle, and this war established the ACP as a true world power in the CPPS army community.

The conflict may have been over, but the bad blood and tensions between the ACP and RFCP was certainly not. A short period of time passed and little occurred between the two as they went about their own business. However, the night of November 14th saw several Recon Federation members enter ACP server and former RFCP capital Northern Lights in a planned raid, and this lead to an unscheduled battle. ACP leader at the time, Koloway, marched the clover soldiers onto said server and another victory against the RFCP was won.

Known for their undercover operations, it wasn’t long before the Recon Federation struck out against the ACP once more. This time, however, it was to be through their secret operation known as ‘The Gridline Wars‘. The ACP Secret Intelligence Service has since uncovered their plans, and this serves as the first time it has been exposed to the Army of CP members.

Their plan was a simple one: to intervene in the Second Clover Crusade between the ACP and Templars. They were to create new penguin accounts and attend the Templars battles dressed in the yellow uniforms, but were under the orders of RFCP leader Prior Bumble. This shady operation, however, did not succeed as the ACP were victorious with a 3-1-0 war score.

It was some time before the ACP and RFCP met again in battle – and it happened by chance. The date was February 23rd, 2020, and the Army of CP were at war with the Romans despite them avoiding battle and refusing to show up to the ACP’s invasions of their empire. In a desperate attempt to meet them in battle, the ACP USA division scheduled a raid of their battle against the Recon Federation. Both the ACP and RFCP were present in large numbers, but the Romans only managed to get approximately 5 members online and were quick to log off before any battle could commence.

Never one to back down from a challenge, both the ACP and RFCP then engaged in a 30 minute battle with one another, for the first time since the 2019 War of No Return. This was a furiously heated exchange and saw each side give their all. The battle was declared a 2-1 victory by the ACP, but was disputed by RFCP leader Prior Bumble who claimed the Federation were in fact the winners. There was no doubt that high tensions between the pair still existed 4 months after their original conflict.

The RFCP and ACP have not met in batle since this date, over a year ago. The Recon Federation are currently one of the three listed enemies of the D.R.A.C.P on the ACP’s Nation page, alongside the Templars and Special Weapons and Tactics. Today’s huge battle, dubbed the Battle of No Return after the 2019 war, has been over a year in the making and promises to be a huge event for both the armies involved and the community as a whole.
