Well this isnt really a retirement post, more of a semi retirement,  Im barely active as I am, and I cant stand from going from one of the most over active soldiers in this army to a very inactive one.

I come on when I can, but I never do anything, Ive missed every single congress meeting since I was elected into congress, Ive missed every single battle of any kind since the beggining of June.

Now I said I wouldnt do this but its a list thingy maboobery bob thing like in other things.

Nate950000:You were one of the first people I met, if it wasnt for you I probably wouldnt have joined acp, I wouldnt have joined any army really. not properly.

Wicket1235:You were like the second person I met… You were a good friend, never talked much though, funny guy, Havent seen you on since you retired though so idk if youll be seeing this.

Hello everybody, I’m Thomas0270 in case you didn’t know me. Dryvit added me to the site as a contributor. If you don’t know what a contributor is, it’s somebody who cannot post without it getting approved by somebody who is not a contributor. Contributor’s can also not edit anything.

I enjoy looking at every division’s site looking at the progress made I will now be posting division news and ACP news once a week. Here is the division news for today!

ALPHA: Since Thebest22 and Ktman are now both Leaders, I think that Thebest22 will be field commanding Alpha and Ktman will be field commanding Echo. Ktman and Thebest22 will be picking either, Divotoo, Bobcatboy10 or Nate950000 to be the new Generals. It’s also confusing because Divotoo is first General of Delta and in Alpha too. They are also adding the authors, editors, and admins.

DELTA: Delta recently got beat bad in a division practice battle, but then beat ST in a practice battle.  They are having one comment once in awhile, but hopefully their site gets as active as it was during the practice battle with ST.

ECHO: Echo recently won the division practice battle. They are currently having an active post, and they are having around 30 hits a day. They used to have the new site, but now Echo will be reusing the old site since Clintos rejoined. They also have a new Echo awards program

Here is the ACP news for today!

As many of you know, the first female Leader Saint1119 retired from ACP. She will be greatly missed. Also, Clintos007 quit the NGA and rejoined ACP and is current an SMG. And Ktman, Thebest22, and Mathewmsh are now in their Leader positions, Ktman as 2ic, Mathew as 3ic, and Thebest22 as 3ic. Lastly, the new mod-list came out recently. If you did not pass, there is another one in September that all mod ranks who did not take the test or failed will be able to retry.

Hello all, I’d like to post to you for the first time as your new ACP Second In Command.  I would like to thank our new leader Dryvit for giving me this great opportunity and to all the soldiers for being so great during this transition.

For those who don’t know me, my Xat and penguin name is Ktman.  I started out my Club Penguin army career leading the small army the Club Penguin Rangers who still thrive today under new leadership.  I also was and still am the Prime Minister of the Club Penguin United Nations, a group based on the real United Nations who promote peace and justice.  I served in ACP for 2 days under Oagalthorpe, and after losing an election for Co-Leader, I quit.  I came back to the army at the end of Kg007’s term and served unranked for a month.  Then, he suddenly retired and my friend from the CPUN, Jedimaster17, was a candidate for leader.  I signed up to be her adviser during her campaign, and I was accepted.  After the campaign, I was finally ranked in the ACP as Lt. Colonel.  I began to climb the ranks steadily.  During this period of time, I won an election making me the Governor of the ACP Argent State and I won another election to become the Vice President of the ACP Consultant.  When Boomer retired, our new leader Saint appointed me as Vice President of the Democratic Republic of the ACP.  For two months I ran congress meetings and Debate of the Weeks until Saint retired.  I was appointed 2nd In Command by Dryvit, and this is where I am today.

Through out the time I will be 2IC, there are 3 things I want to achieve.

1. I want to make new soldiers signing up on the Join Page be ranked as fast as ever and get them in our ranks as an official soldier as soon as possible.
2. I want to schedule Practice Battles at least once and every two weeks, more if we can.  If there are no wars, I want our army to still be in top shape if we need to fight.
3. I want to be the people’s 2IC, I want to take your ideas and help them become reality.  I want to use your ideas, not only mine, to make this army the best it can be.

With you support, failure is impossible.

Though we are in a time of an unknown future, a time with not all questions answered, the ACP will thrive.  How?  With our new and bright leadership and the soldiers of this army that have never and never will give up, the ACP will continue to be the one, the only, the Army of Club Penguin.

Welcome to a new era in ACP. First I would like to thank Saint for the new ACP site Banner. Saint is very talented and the banner shows that. What a great job! Now as we say goodbye to our  great friend and leader, Saint, it is time to look ahead at what the future holds for ACP. We are growing every day. We get an average of 15 new recruits each weekday, and 25+ each on Saturday and Sunday. We ARE the official Army of Club Penguin and as such we conduct ourselves that way. That carries over from chat, to Comments, to Club Penguin, and it gets results. Because of our rapid and impressive growth,  we are quickly over filling our Corporal through warrant officer ranks. We need to allow for promotion without over loading the ranks above that. Also our officer ranks and general ranks below mod are very populated. We cannot promote 30 new mods each promo day and 15 new generals. We need a way to show merit in promotions but keep a reasonable number of mods and top general ranks. After Sergeant Major General, it is very difficult to get a promotion, how do we fix that? Do we raise the mod rank?

So I am looking for ideas ACP. What would you, the soldiers like to see in the way of ranks, from top to bottom. We will select the best ideas and have a poll to decide, then come promotion day we will roll out the new ranks and see how we did.

Next on the horizon is the election of ACP ambassadors. These positions will be filled by election.  The two top vote getters will become ACP ambassadors and will hold that title untill the new elections. The Ambassadors will function as a welcoming comittee to the new recruits, plan events such as recruiting and parties, have a weekly column on ACP giving us the latest news around the armies, and other special roles as they come up. More to come on the rules and nominations for this on Sunday.

Senate. We have a new senate VP in Drnonojr. I welcome his experience and knowledge to the team. He is a great asset to the senate. We have some vacant spots in the senate to fill. These will be filled by a nomination and vote from the senate. New senate elections will be held again in 4 months, and then again when the new leader of ACP takes command.

Next would be the Moderators. The back bone of our chat. Recently we held a mod test to determine our mods for the future. If you did not pass, you were demodded. Good news! We will be conducting another mod test in September, so all those newly promoted and those who did not pass last time will have a second chance. Look for the test to come out mid september.

General ranks. In the next week or so, we will have a comment poll to determine who among our general ranks, Brigadier and up are still active. You will only need to comment that you are active, I have the vacation list, and those members will be exempt.

Officer ranks. After the completion of the general ranks, we will be doing an active officers comment by rank. Each few days, a new officers rank will be used in the active comment poll. This will be Lieutenants to Colonel. This will help streamline the officers ranks and help tremendously with promotions.

As always, the leadership is always open to new ideas to improve or help ACP. The new leaders will shortly, have their ACP email posted on the site. Please feel free to email any concerns or suggestions to any or all leaders. Your input is important and welcomed.

Finally, I am proud to serve as your leader. I am looking forward to leading ACP to a bright future. I realize I have some big shoes to fill. The legacy left by Boomer, and then Saint, is huge. I can only hope to come close to that. For those that know me, I hope you agree, for those that do not know me, I want to assure you that I will always put the best for ACP first in any decisions and will always be fair in resolving conflict. You will never see me curse, and you will never get anything but the honest truth from me. I am tenaciously loyal, and expect loyalty to ACP in return. Any soldier who for what ever reason left ACP to join the NG, is welcome back to ACP. No questions asked. You need only to ask. And to leave NG behind. I feel together, we can march proudly into a bright future for ACP.  Thanks, and y’all be good now : )

Hi, it’s Vice President Nono. I’m now on the site and am ready to assume my job. Firstly, I’d like to inform you that I’ve revised my senate meeting format. Here’s the new one:

1. Open Discussion

For a minute or two, the senators discuss whatever they need to in order to prepare for the meeting.

2. Embassy

Ambassadors present their ideas to the senate, if any are present. Ambassadors are representatives from other armies or organizations and must be approved by both their leader and myself. They can present but cannot vote.

3. Presentation

The meeting is called to order. The senators take turns presenting bills.

4. Discussion

Once a bill has been presented, take a few minutes to discuss it.

5. Voting

Once discussion is over, the bill is voted upon. Majority rules, so if more than half of the senators approve of the bill, it’s passed. Go back to step 2 and repeat until all bills have been voted upon.

6. Brainstorming

Once all the bills have either been passed or shot down, brainstorming begins. It lasts as long as it needs to. The senators discuss how to solve problems the ACP is currently dealing with.

7. Press Release

Once brainstorming is done, the meeting is over. I make a post on the ACP site summarizing the meeting and what was decided.

Secondly, I’d like to hear from the senators about what day next week works good for them for our first meeting with me as VP. Please comment, senators. Rock on!

Ain’t no passin phrase…

The penguins, in fact, stole my sanity. I am truly sorry that the time of me being the leader has come to a short, abrupt, end. Yes two months is a short time, but it was long enough for me. The reason I have to retire is the reason of past leaders before me.  I just can’t handle it. Being leader of the ACP was a tedious job, and I had to force myself onto the computer everyday. Wednesday, July 22, 2009 was the day I made my final decision. I had to force myself to get on chat that day and I only managed to do that at about three o’ clock in the afternoon. I couldn’t handle the stress, the discrimination, the constant struggle to keep everyone happy, everyone safe, everyone satisfied. I dreaded doing anything, and in fact, I was lazy. Too lazy to check emails, too lazy to do anything. My laziness along with my constant desire to stay away from chat is the reason I am retiring today. Yes, you may call me anything you want: a baby, quitter, loser, freak, anything at all because, I probably deserve it. Two months is all I could handle, and those two months were the worst of my ACP career. You may be rejoicing at my leave, or saddened by the event, either or I’m sorry I couldn’t stay and help you through more decisions and fight till the end with countless enemies. I’m sorry my leadership wasn’t the best and we didn’t have the most fun. What can I say? You guys drove me crazy! But I should have been able to handle that, and yet I still love the craziness in each of u.
That still doesn’t really get my point across on how I felt about going on chat. Think of yourself going to school, say you hate school, and every single day your teachers criticize you and continuously give you homework. That’s sort of how I felt. If u like school, too bad, pretend you don’t.

I wish everyone could know the real Saint. Not many people knew her; she was once “the nicest person in ACP”, Believe it or not. She would try to help the members as best as she can and she would have fun. That’s the main thing, fun. If only I were the Old Saint in the days of being General and 3^rd in Command, then maybe I could have stayed longer. I lost myself in this and I wish to have myself back. I’m sorry for those who have never seen the real Saint, and I wish I could bring her back. But I’ve tried too many times to do it and they have all failed hopelessly. The only people who know the real Saint either hate the new one now or are long gone. I’m sorry this happened.

I would like to thank Boomer for believing in me, but, I would also like to apologize. I’m sorry I failed you as a leader, Boomer; I just never had it in me I guess.

My friends in the ACP ~ those I will never forget.

Kg 007 – I love you, thank you for all the help during my leadership, I would have never stayed as long without you. I don’t know how you became so perfect but I couldn’t manage without you.

Seanehawk – The best friend anyone could ever hope for. Yes he can be strict but when u get down to it he’s a great friend to fall back on. Okami ftw.

Dryvit – My favorite member xD. The next leader of the ACP. I feel that Dryvit will become the next Boomer20. He will fight through the battles and deal with all kinds of threats to come. He would stay on the computer for hours completing the Join page. It would be up-to-date every hour on the hour. He would be there battling at every war, practice battle, recruiting session, everything. If Dryvit can’t lead, nobody can. A born leader rising through the ranks, the fastest in ACP. He became Co-Leader faster than I became General. He was dedicated, he deserved it. Dryvit was the perfect Soldier from Day One. His whole family will rise in the armies and will be remembered for generations to come. If Dryvit fails at being a leader, then it is only my fault, nobody elses. If you call Dryvit a “n00b” for becoming a leader so early, you’re just jealous. You’re jealous he got so far in such a short time, you’re jealous that he beat you. He beat all of us. He is the next leader and he will take us to the top! If anyone disagrees with that, they can tell it to my face.

Abercrombe29 – I’m sorry. You were my best friend in ACP, TOTW, I wish you were still here, maybe you would be leader and I wouldn’t be retiring. I miss you every day Aber and we are still Taking Over The World.

Nicole6754 – You were my best friend also, quitting at an early pace. I was sad to see you go that day and never saw you again. Good luck with life.

Jedimaster17 – Nerds for life~. We had major plans for ACP too bad you retired early, we had so much fun and I wish u good luck with everything.

JojoFishy – My best friend. We made it to General together! We were the best ACP team. If only you stayed ACP would be in it’s Boomer days.

I think the truth has been stretched beyond the breaking point here xD

Rapidy is claiming that he should run for leader because he was unfairly “impeached” before by Cas and someone else, neither of whom had the power to do so (nor did it happen), because impeachment was and still is, only possible if ALL members of Congress vote to impeachment the leader.  He and others are also claiming that ACP needs to have an election or they can’t be called a “democracy”.  What a bunch of hypocrits.

Rapidy was CHOSEN by Oagal to replace Fort, however Fort chose Dr Nono Jr.  Rapidy was leader for a little while before a group of rebels complained until there was an election (gee that’s sounds really familiar…).  In the election, 3 candidates competed, and the two winners would face Rapidy in the final vote.  Shab and Kg were the top 2 and faced Rap in the final poll (democracy), which Kg won.  As for Cas impeaching Rapidy, you can see that he wasn’t, in fact about a week after Kg became leader, Rap was still on the site making posts like this one about why ACP was hated by other armies.

This was in fact, ACP’s first election.  Since Oagal chose Fort and then Rap after Fort retired, ACP was technically not democratic until this point.  However, NG’s so called “democratic election” that they are calling for is exactly how Rap lost the leader spot last time.  Last August, the rebels left ACP and even the site, making a new ACP site (like the NG Site).  They threatened to take down ACP until they were given a fair chance, causing complete chaos.  The result: Oagal threatened to delete the ACP site, and the rebels won their election.  In the election, Rapidy lost.  Despite the “democratic triumph”, ACP was torn apart by the rebellion, and it took months to recover the soldiers that left for good during that span of time.

Rapidy, if you think you were kicked out unfairly, maybe you are right.  But the irony is that this election that you are calling for is exactly the same as the rebellion that kicked you out last time.  Can’t get much more hypocritical than that.  Omega has pictures claiming that Cas thinks Rapidy was kicked out by a coup.  You are correct that there was a coup, that was the rebellion.  The leader of the coup was Fort.  Had the coup itself removed Rap from power, then Fort would have become leader again (he just retired, so you can see how that argument makes no sense).  The coup did not remove Rap from power.

The definition of coup on the NG site is “a sudden and decisive action in politics”.  The only “decisive action” brought about by this coup was an election in which Rap, you lost.  An ELECTION.  That’s right Rap, you were impeached by an election.

I cannot believe that an “Army” that claims to want the best for ACP would spread these kind of lies and rumors.  Sorry for short post.
