Welcome to a new era in ACP. First I would like to thank Saint for the new ACP site Banner. Saint is very talented and the banner shows that. What a great job! Now as we say goodbye to our great friend and leader, Saint, it is time to look ahead at what the future holds for ACP. We are growing every day. We get an average of 15 new recruits each weekday, and 25+ each on Saturday and Sunday. We ARE the official Army of Club Penguin and as such we conduct ourselves that way. That carries over from chat, to Comments, to Club Penguin, and it gets results. Because of our rapid and impressive growth, we are quickly over filling our Corporal through warrant officer ranks. We need to allow for promotion without over loading the ranks above that. Also our officer ranks and general ranks below mod are very populated. We cannot promote 30 new mods each promo day and 15 new generals. We need a way to show merit in promotions but keep a reasonable number of mods and top general ranks. After Sergeant Major General, it is very difficult to get a promotion, how do we fix that? Do we raise the mod rank?
So I am looking for ideas ACP. What would you, the soldiers like to see in the way of ranks, from top to bottom. We will select the best ideas and have a poll to decide, then come promotion day we will roll out the new ranks and see how we did.
Next on the horizon is the election of ACP ambassadors. These positions will be filled by election. The two top vote getters will become ACP ambassadors and will hold that title untill the new elections. The Ambassadors will function as a welcoming comittee to the new recruits, plan events such as recruiting and parties, have a weekly column on ACP giving us the latest news around the armies, and other special roles as they come up. More to come on the rules and nominations for this on Sunday.
Senate. We have a new senate VP in Drnonojr. I welcome his experience and knowledge to the team. He is a great asset to the senate. We have some vacant spots in the senate to fill. These will be filled by a nomination and vote from the senate. New senate elections will be held again in 4 months, and then again when the new leader of ACP takes command.
Next would be the Moderators. The back bone of our chat. Recently we held a mod test to determine our mods for the future. If you did not pass, you were demodded. Good news! We will be conducting another mod test in September, so all those newly promoted and those who did not pass last time will have a second chance. Look for the test to come out mid september.
General ranks. In the next week or so, we will have a comment poll to determine who among our general ranks, Brigadier and up are still active. You will only need to comment that you are active, I have the vacation list, and those members will be exempt.
Officer ranks. After the completion of the general ranks, we will be doing an active officers comment by rank. Each few days, a new officers rank will be used in the active comment poll. This will be Lieutenants to Colonel. This will help streamline the officers ranks and help tremendously with promotions.
As always, the leadership is always open to new ideas to improve or help ACP. The new leaders will shortly, have their ACP email posted on the site. Please feel free to email any concerns or suggestions to any or all leaders. Your input is important and welcomed.
Finally, I am proud to serve as your leader. I am looking forward to leading ACP to a bright future. I realize I have some big shoes to fill. The legacy left by Boomer, and then Saint, is huge. I can only hope to come close to that. For those that know me, I hope you agree, for those that do not know me, I want to assure you that I will always put the best for ACP first in any decisions and will always be fair in resolving conflict. You will never see me curse, and you will never get anything but the honest truth from me. I am tenaciously loyal, and expect loyalty to ACP in return. Any soldier who for what ever reason left ACP to join the NG, is welcome back to ACP. No questions asked. You need only to ask. And to leave NG behind. I feel together, we can march proudly into a bright future for ACP. Thanks, and y’all be good now : )

Use the old Acp ranks instead in oagals and forts time. With field marshal etc. Just a thought though.

Agreed to Nosey’s. I also suggest in September, we “raise the roof” xD. I mean, raise the modline. Have the actice things for each rank. For example, if you don’t comment your ranks active thing and you’re a Lt. General or up, demoted to Major General. If you are below mod, not demoted but not allowed to get a promo next month.

its a good idea thom, but it will get complicated, also, why not just make more ranks, for instance, within the brigader general rank, you have to “promo” 3 times before moving to the next rank, each time you get a “promo” a star goes next to your name, ever 3rd star, you move up a rank, this will create the ranks being more “illusive” and “special” this system can have increased stars for the higher ranks (:

Maybe to show merit beyond promos, you could expand the whole * concept from just general to all the mod ranks, so that way you can show that people are doing good, but not promote them

Im getting Kinda close to the mod rank. I dont think you should raise it. I think any one who gets promoed to the mod rank should have to take the mod test to see if they’re good enough. Tell me if you think thats a dumb Idea its the only one I have. Also I dont think to many mods is a bad thing. It means we will have mods on even late at night . Whats the worst that could happen? There arn’t any rules against mods its not like there is a limit.

ADD A PRIVATE!!!!!!!!! Pretty much every other army has one and i think that the”BIGGEST ARMY IN CP” should have one too.(maybe you could also make a new general to shorten the amount of mods)
Privates are usually beofre corporal. They are either the lowest rank are not a rank at all.
Maybe we could also add a rank under corporal under private, its called:cadet
I think that every two months, every congress member should decide who sould become a General. That way, the General rank doesnt pile up like the corparol- warrant officer, but it will give people a chance to get a promo after Sgt. Major General.
I agree with batin, Seargeant Major General is a bit wordy don’t ya think? But I also agree with robin, Waiting longer to become a mod isn’t exactly ideal for the people that are one rank below the mod line.
I also think adding another low rank is awesome too. 😀

I think we could divide corporals according to what they answer in the join page.Example: 1ts Class Corporal and 2nd Class Corporal.
I also think we shouldn’t raise the mod line because some of us are already one step away from becoming a mod rank.

I think that we should have elections every month for who should become a general however it would be a popularity contest but there should be these rules
1. must have been a master general for over 1 month
2. must be active in the army
3. must have been in ACP for 10 months or more
definitly going to go for ambassador…Im really trying to make even a small difference between NGA and ACP as well as other matters.
