For some reason once I retired, no one used Mammoth for recruiting anymore even though it’s still neutral.  If you go on right after school, you can usually get in (even nonmembers if you’re on the East Coast), so we’re going to try to get some recruiting done there.  Because I know there will be some people who can’t get in, we will also be recruiting on Snow Fort.  I realize the first session is too early for most people who will still be in school, so we will have a second one later on (please note this one will only be on Snow Fort).  Here is the info:

Recruiting Session Strategies:

• Say “Search ACP Army of Club Penguin!” and keep it copied so all you have to do is paste it to say it (and say it A LOT)
• Talk about ACP in general as well, mix the search phrase with “Join ACP and protect CP!”, “Join ACP to have some fun!”, or “We wear green and our Leader is Boomer!” (try to make us sound really awesome 8) )
• Stay together, but don’t cover each other up, you want to look big
• Try to wear similar uniforms, you look more professional and not just like a bunch of green n00bs (see uniform HERE – scroll down)
• Dancing looks more fun, so do that (if it lags your CP, hit the +/= button to lower the resolution)
• Lines work well, so say “Make a green line across the Town” and people are likely to join you
• Listen to your leaders if we have to move
• Be on ACP Chat (it’s the best way to receive orders)
• I want to see at least 40 people at the second one tomorrow!

Boomer’s Edit: I need a 3rd in Command to take over Delta for a little while, Draggy just retired, and I don’t think Nono has done anything yet.  I’ll give him a few days, but we may need to replace him in addition to Draggy.

It was 3 years ago today that ACP was created on the Miniclip Forums by Oagalthorp himself.  For 3 years, ACP has been the most recognized army in Club Penguin.

I will be trying to hold a tournament to see who the best army in Clubpenguin is! A lot of CP News sites have different standings, so I hope this can solve most of these little things.

I’m hoping that these armies will attend. If one army doesn’t attend, if Romans want to attend they can. (Woton, Id appreciate if you post this on CPA site so some leaders see). I am really hoping that each army has fun and stuff. If this works, I will not be siding with ANY army and not making armies I like win. I’ll (Thomas0270) be judging and judging fairly. Once every army that wants to attend informs me or Boomer on chat or in a comment we will start up!

ACP taught me an important lesson: No matter how young or old you are, you can make great things if you propose it to yourself. ACP was all this, all started by a simple idea and became a big army.

SENATE REGISTRATION IS BELOW THIS POST !

This is going to be a big post, so bear with me.

For those of you who were around the last time I was leader, you know we were always doing something.  We had at least one if not two practices each weekend, and I encouraged everyone to stay active throughout the week as well.  Since I retired, we have had almost no practice sessions to teach tactics, and few practice battles.  It’s time we start getting active again.

Many of you have had it easy for a while.  You hang out on chat, and get promoted just for being on.  Unfortunately for ACP, it doesn’t matter how much you are on chat, what matters is what you do for us on Club Penguin.  For this reason, promotions will once again be weighted very heavily on your attendance of practices, recruiting, and battles.

We need to lay down some new rules to enforce the fact that we need to get active.  Break the mindset that ACP will be fine if we don’t go on Club Penguin, because that didn’t go so well for us.

New Rule: Division Generals and Generals are responsible for getting ACP on Club Penguin for at least an hour every day (you can do two 30 minute blocks if you want) 30 minutes – I didn’t realize how opposed everyone is to working hard nowadays… This will be for recruiting and patrolling.  If you think this is unfair, realize that when I joined ACP, we were on Club Penguin nearly every minute we spent on chat.  That’s why armies used to be successful, and the lack of this has caused their downfall.  So suit up, and let’s get this army going again.

Next, I would like to point out how well things are going so far.  Yesterday, our hits total was 5,849!  That was the highest we’ve had in well over a month.  Compare that to the 1,776 we had the day before the coup 😆 .  As far as soldiers goes, we had about 15 soldiers rejoin and another 10 or so join from another army, so that’s positive.  On Club Penguin, we went from about 20 at an unscheduled event, to 35 at an unscheduled event.  Chat has been loaded recently, and it’s incredible to see how many mods we actually had, they just weren’t coming on.  Good to see we got you excited again 😀 !  We need to keep working hard so these numbers continue to rise though!

Lastly, advertising.

I made an ACP Banner, which you can see on the left sidebar.  There is also an ACP Button at the top of the left sidebar.  We need to spread the word about ACP, so if you own a site, please put our banner up and help us advertise.

Here is how to do this:

1.  You must be an Administrator on the site you are putting the banner/button on.

2.  Go to the site Dashboard and scroll down to “Appearance”.

3.  Hit the tab, which should make more choices visible and choose “Widgets”.

4.  Choose the widget called “Text” and drag it into place on the proper sidebar.

5.  For the ACP Banner (see below), copy and paste the following code into the text widget:

Dryvit’s edit: Lets stay with one slate and keep shortening it as the votes are tallied. The groups of candidates is inherently unfair as “SoldierA” might have won in group 5 and not in group 4. I have to agree with Wotonz here, this is the fairest way. It may take an extra day or so, but we will truly have the peoples choice in the end.

Up next will be the elections for Ambassador, you cannot be a senator and an Ambassador too, so you higher ranks, keep that in mind.

The Head of Propaganda of each division is in charge of making banners, posters, and other images to promote your division and it’s cause.  Your Head of Propaganda must be great at editing and making things such as this and must be active and willing enough to make these daily.

The leader of each division must select a Head of Propaganda in the next 24 hours.  Be wise in your decision.  Good luck.
