I think it would be preferable if this person already had their own site for this kind of thing, so that they have some experience with it.  Plus you could just copy and paste it here.

I think I’ll post this now so our enemies know they can’t just walk in and steal other army’s capitals for no reason, yes we had been planning to defend Tundra from IW.  The Nachos have decided to invade as well for no apparent reason, so our allies are counting on us now more than ever.  We will be fighting on the side of UMA, RPF, and the rest of the Tundra Union.  Please help WW defend the server they have owned since they were first created.

Attempt Number 2 is here! Senate Elections time!!! Well, first I will explain how this will go down.

Nobody Captain or below can run, according to boomer, which is why it was a good thing I asked for ranks!

Also, we will have 2 polls. One is for people from the ranks Major through Brigadier General. The other is for soldiers from the ranks Major General through Division General.

I decided that we should have it pretty equal. The top 6 moderators and members will be senators. After this, these senators will vote on one more senator, who can be of any rank!

Now for the rules:

RULES FOR VOTERS

1. You must be on the ACP Ranks to vote!
2. ONLY ONE VOTE FOR EACH POLL.
3. No screaming “GO [Insert Candidate’s Name here]! VOTE FOR THEM!!!!!!!” on Main. It will only get you guested and banned for an hour.
4. You CAN endorse people. Just don’t be too pushy, k? 😉
5. ACP LEADERS CANNOT VOTE OR ENDORSE PEOPLE SO THE ELECTION STAYS FAIR!!

1. You CAN advertise! Just don’t be too pushy, and don’t scream on Main “VOTE FOR ME IM THE BEST, THIS PERSON ISN’T!!!” It won’t get you anywhere. Also, don’t ask owners, other armies, or retired people to vote for you, because they can’t.

Edit: Division General and General are full, so you can’t argue for a promotion to those ranks.  Once ACP expands again, those ranks will as well, but for now, we can’t promote everyone at those ranks.  Also, no double promos above Lt. Colonel just because those ranks are so packed with active soldiers.

Forgive me if I missed you, I have only been paying attention to the ranks for 4 days.

Please Note: Because we have so many active soldiers of Colonel and up, those ranks are hard to get promotions from (especially to get over the mod rank).  That in mind, if you believe you deserved a promo and did not get one, please leave a comment with your name and why you believed you deserved one.  Please mention specific events you attended.

Let me start by saying, if you were there, make sure you comment.

The first session went extremely well, and far more people came than I expected.  We had as many as 40 people on Mammoth, which was amazing considering it was a weekday and most people weren’t out of school yet.  The second one, we had about 30 the entire time, so thanks for coming!

Yes, its my time to retire Temporary from ACP. I know you guys are wondering why. Its because its hard to be active at times, im going to be yelled at for “Not deserving my rank” and get a talk from Boomer. I need a time off from ACP for a while. If I do not come back by January 1st, 2010 11:59 CST I will have sent my retirement post to Fox. Here’s the people I would like to thank so far:

Two of the divisions have submitted there new Heads of Propaganda.  They are as follows

Alpha: Wurburt

Echo: Matre

Delta: ???

Until Delta gets a Head of Propaganda, they will miss out on an exciting oppurtunity.  Whenever 3 banner or other piece of propaganda is made, I will tell the other team a secret intelligence hint about the other team.  You can get one piece of info up to every few days and I will decide if they are up to the standards they need to be

But now onto the point of this post, Spies.  Spies are one of the most important parts of the ACP WAR!  They will be appointed secretly by Division leaders to gather intelligence and info on the other divisions and their plans.  Spies can secretly join other Divisions, sneak on to Division chats to gain their whereabouts on Club Penguin, anything you can think of.  They just have to be sneaky, quiet, and someone who can hide themselves from being noticed.

Division leaders should PC me as soon as possible with their choices for their spies.  Each division can have up to two spies.  Good luck, there is only a few more days of preparation before the ACP WAR! can begin.

The Anniversary party was fun, and I thought I would post a few pics.  I was pretty happy with the turnout considering a week ago we could barely get20 soldiers for a practice battle, yet this time we had 35 at a party during the schoolweek.  We also had between 35-40 people on chat for the party, which was good enough for 5th best on xat (like I said, not bad for a weekday).  Sorry for over analyzing our size, that’s just my attempt to gauge whether our comeback is going well.  So far, it looks like a definite yes! 😀

I realized a lot of people were left off the ranks because we cleared them out for just the active count, so if you need your rank back, leave a comment on the Join page and just add what rank you were previously and I’ll get you back on.

Next, I wanted to explain the ranks because everyone thinks they got demoted…

I had to do this last time because people see the name “Lt. General” and think that its at the same level it was before (it’s not).  The ranks were based on the distance from the mod rank (so if you were one above the mod rank as a Lt. General, then you are now still one above the mod rank as a Major General – you did not get demoted, you stayed the same, they are just different rank names).  Here are the conversions:

Hello, ACP  soldiers.

My name is Sheila, and today is the day I will retire from ACP.

My schedule is too full for ACP anymore. I try to get on, but I never can. And every time I do, I am filled with guilt for not being there.

That is why I am retirement. In this speech, I will state my history and my closest friends in ACP.

My history in ACP is a long saga that is not filled with just heroics and joy. As I sit typing this, lightning pierces my heart.

In November of 2007, I joined ACP. I started out as a captain. After a few months, I rose through the ranks and became a respected and honored solider.

In my last few months with ACP, I was barely able to get on. I was depressed about that. I missed my friends. I then became Ambassador, and tried to become a leader. I’ve always wanted to be one. Ever since I joined. Then, one day I realized, “I am not going to be a leader. Ever.”

So here I am today.

Realizing that, the pain was just too real, and I had to leave. I’m sorry.

Oagalthorp: A wonderful and clever leader. I admired you in so many ways. You were calculating, clever, and a good speaker. You were a wonderful leader. I wish I could re-live the days when you lead. Those were my favorite times. In a way, you were my mentor. Good luck.
