Hai ACP,

In the end, the Pirates ended up going to Klondike because in their “rules” if the server is above three bars then its on Klondike. Well Pirates, here is my response:

• Several battles have already been hosted on three bar servers, so according to you all of those are invalid.
• You are not the police of armies. The only rules that invading armies select are: time limit, allies/no allies, spying/no spying. That is it, no “if it’s three bars we will host the battle on your server”.
• Also, Klondike is our server and we did not give consent for the battle to be hosted on Klondike. Our server, our control.
• We had no notification for this server change anyway.

They wouldn’t have beaten our size anyway, which was at around 15-20 on average maxing 25. About 10+ were rouges, but we took that to our advantage and turned it into a recruiting session later on. COMMENT FOR YOUR PROMOTION CREDIT.

Hey everybody, this a quick but important post about how to keep up to date with ACP events.

Particularly in a war like this, you need to stay on top of upcoming events to make sure you are available at that time. It is important for both the army and for you because attending these battles will give you a much better chance of receiving a promotion.

ACP has 3 ways to get updates outside of its website and chat, and I want to make sure everyone knows about them.

1) The first is the email subscription button. It is located in the right sidebar about halfway down. Depending on if you are signed in or not, it will display as either a simple registration button, or it may prompt you to put in an email address (use one that you check regularly). This will send you an email whenever something new is posted on the ACP site. If you are not receiving the emails for some reason and you have a WordPress account, you can click here to make sure that it is set to “Instantly”.

2) Over the summer, I set up a Twitter account for ACP, with the name @ACPArmy. Although it hasn’t gotten much use so far, I am going to encourage the leaders (and possibly a few interested soldiers) to update it more frequently in order to provide battle reminders and updates on other events. You will also receive updates about important posts, so please make sure to follow that account if you have a Twitter. You can find the follow button and Twitter feed just a little bit below the email subscription in the right sidebar.

3) ACP also has a Facebook account, which has been running for a while and is on its way to 400 likes! The account can be viewed at http://facebook.com/ACPArmyofClubPenguin. The Facebook account receives updates directly from the Twitter account, so as long as you follow one of the two, you’re set! There is also a Facebook “Like” button right below the Twitter feed in the right sidebar.

One Final Note: The most important thing you do in this army is attend battles, but I know a lot of you like to spend time on chat as well. This is a not a bad thing, but if you think your parents might make you get off the computer at some point, or if you have homework to do, please do these things before you come online. We want to make sure you are attending the battles, because that is most important, so make sure you know when the next battle is at all times and plan your schedule so that you are free during that time.

Make sure to take advantage of these 3 ways of receiving updates, and hopefully they will help you become one of ACP’s most loyal and active soldiers!

You asked for victory and I went to provide it!

Hai ACP,

Today we captured the Server Sled after venturing into the Beach, Boiler Room, Pizza Parla, Town and Gift Shop! This is, on average, one room per five minutes which is the standard rules when we had room capturing. They claimed we ran, but we attacking several rooms because the Pirates had a lot of rouges and were slow to move their forces across to rooms. Also, they were unorganized and couldn’t form a good line once, whereas we were compact and smart performing perfect tactics with sizes of 5-10, they barely got over 10. This was a close battle, but in the end we won and even used the cat walk as a nice line guide. COMMENT IF YOU CAME FOR PROMOTION CREDITS!

Hai ACP,

Today we attempted to take Klondike from the evil control of the Black alliance in the aim to get it back and let everyone use it like before. We did that amazingly, despite starting badly with around 5-10 we grew from start to finish and maxed 15 at the peek of the battle. They logged off and averaged 10-15 during the battle, while our size and tactics were better you can see why they decided to logoff. Funny how they claim we had IW and Nachos help with no proof, eh? I knew we would win because we are the Army of CP, we are the army that doesn’t give up, that goes through anything that is thrown at us with pride. COMMENT IF YOU CAME TO THIS EVENT.
