BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – Welcome to the first edition of the newest Monday column, A Trip Down Memory Lane! In this column, we will be asking various members of ACP about their favorite memory they’ve had during their time in the army. Our first edition will be featuring none other than Lieutenant General Amelia! What was her favorite memory?
Amelia was first recruited by pirates from CPO when she was about 9, that’s how she learned about armies. After getting more involved in the community and learning about other armies, she decided to join the Dark Warriors in late 2019. DW quickly became her home, and she climbed the ranks to 3ic. Sadly, the army shut down, and she took a three-year break from CPA. In December 2023, she returned to CPA with an army that truly feels like home to her which is the Army of CP. After having been with the Clovers for quite some time now, what has Amelia chosen as her favorite memory?
To find out more, I reached out to Amelia for an interview regarding her favorite memory.
What was your most memorable experience so far in ACP?
I’d say the third EGCP war was the most memorable experience for me, it was the time I was finally starting to form true connections with people in acp. The people I met and bonded with during that time are people I deeply cherish and will never forget the kindness and love they show to me. That period was a turning point that shaped my character and helped me decide how I want to be viewed in this community.
What was the most challenging part of being in ACP/Army?
When I first joined, I was a little hesitant to come back to armies and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it all over again. The reason I decided to stay was because of an old friend who was in acp at the time, they convinced me to stay with them, I liked it and found the people here very comforting and welcoming. Looking back, I’m so thankful I decided to stick around because the memories and friendships I built in ACP are truly irreplaceable
Looking back, what was the funniest or most surprising thing that happened during your time in ACP?
I think the most suprising thing that ever happened to me in ACP is receiving the Bronze Medal Award. Never in a million years did I expect it or even think it could be possible. It’s so unreal to look at the Hall of Fame page and see my name there, I still feel like any moment now they will be like “sike!” and just remove it 😭😭 Jokes aside, I feel so so honored to receive something so valuable and timeless. I will forever cherish this sentiment and live up to it.
What was the most valuable lesson you learned so far during your time in ACP?
I’d say the value of friendships and connections. These people had my back when I needed it the most, they always show me love and support. It’s also important to give back to others and be there for each other so they do the same for you.
It seems Amelia really values her friendships and all the people she has met along the way focusing more on having a fun time and making meaningful memories, But who will be interviewed next week? And what memory will they choose?
