A Trip Down Memory Lane With ShadowSaint

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – It is time for the latest edition of A Trip Down Memory Lane, this time featuring Co-ordinator ShadowSaint! What is her favorite memory?

ShadowSaint first joined the Army of CP as a private on October of 2019. She has been with the Clovers ever since and currently works as a Co-ordinator and Recruitment Supervisor. Having been in the army for almost two years now, what has Shadow chosen as her favorite memory?

To find out more, I reached out to ShadowSaint for an interview regarding her favorite memory.

What has been your favorite memory during your time in ACP?

Gosh, that’s a hard question to answer because I have so many good memories with ACP! If I only had to choose one, I’d say it’s the June 2021 Pride Parade.

How did you feel when the Pride Parade was first announced?

I was really excited because it wasn’t going to involve just us and our allies, but also so many other armies in the Club Penguin army community! If I recall correctly, we had never really done a collaboration that large before, so it was great to see us trying something new!

What would you say was the most exciting part of the parade?

It absolutely warmed my heart that so many people from so many different armies showed up for the parade! I also felt something there that I had never felt before in the nearly 2 years I’ve been in Club Penguin armies: a true sense of unity in the community. It felt so good that all of us, regardless of whether we were allies, enemies, or neutral with each other, just put our differences aside for a day to celebrate diversity in the army community as a whole.

If the Pride Parade was to be brought back again next year, would you want to change anything?

The only thing I would change about the Pride Parade if we were to have it next year would be to simply invite more armies to celebrate with us! I know that by doing so, we could risk making CPR crash from so many of us being there, but I think the risk would absolutely worth it. Besides, if we did crash CPR with our sizes, we could say we literally killed the game with Pride. LOL!

Shadow has chosen the Pride Parade as her favorite memory, a truly memorable event where many armies logged on to CPRewritten together to celebrate Pride Month. Having explored another favorite memory today, who will be interviewed next week? And what memory will they choose?
